Sorry for the delay. I'll post now. ^_^

By the way, I added the villain's character sheet while you weren't looking. >:)

Yeah, I could use some help, I guess.

The closest character in appearance would be a character from World of Warcraft named Anduin, but Anduin is a bit... prettier than Solomon.

He is almost exactly how I picture Solomon, but with less of a baby face, if you could help me find someone that looks like that.

If we're doing anime style (which I prefer for this setting):
Googled "wow anduin anime" and got the following:

The last one is perfect, actually. Thanks for going out of your way to find it.

Now for some more realistic pictures, if you're keen on them.

Also, have some lore!

Couriers:
Messengers of the realm. Given the number of lords in both kingdoms, they are a mixed bunch with the common purpose of delivering incredibly important messages from one lord to another, and sometimes to royalty or more important commoners. With a job like this, some bandits have attempted to make easy prey on these messengers, intending to steal any valuable cargo or information to sell.

Most of the time, these bandits fail. Couriers have become known for being incredibly reliable, no matter what befalls them. Depending on their routes and region, they become highly skilled in certain areas. Couriers in mountainous regions can endure the harsh cold and high altitudes, along with having incredible endurance and upper body strength. Couriers of the plains are the fastest and most opportunistic, knowing when and where to sprint out of any trouble that might befall them. Couriers of the woods are cunning, and some have even made traps in the forests they cut through to hinder or dispatch pursuers.

Others, like Solomon, have their own unique approach. Solomon, for example, disguises himself either as a religious nomad or a farmer carrying nothing but a heavy walking stick. When attacked, his harmless guise gives him a few easy swings to start with, and given his upper body strength from scaling cliffs and the weight of his walking stick, these blows tend to be lethal. Solomon, to stop people from seeing him as a real threat, doesn't use the same route twice in a row, and he doesn't dress the same whenever he repeats a route. He has been known to be incredibly reliable as a courier and a warrior.

I was writing up a whole post about Fairmont and Company by bits and pieces during my work breaks, but ditched it all when I sat down to write back home. xD

What I replaced it with is better anyway, IMO. ^_^

Got a lot of setup to do before Girl #2 can join the party.

Solomon is getting serious now, eh? I think he's gonna kick some bee-hind and shock the pants off of Commander Fairmont. xD

I want my villains to have more character than just "Ooh ugh, I'm evil, just shoot me now." Hey, maybe I should create character sheets for them...

I think I've found a way to speed up the introduction of Girl #2.

Everything okay?

Oh my goodness. You absolutely need extra rest. Heck, I could use extra rest. 10-hour shifts are kind of brutal, even though I've only got 4 of them.

What's on your mind?

Stuff I am going to write eventually. Some of my other RPs are slowing down, which will mean less of a chance of getting writing fatigue. So that's a blessing in disguise.

How are you feeling about the sluggishness of your other RPs? I'd imagine it's unpleasant, to say the least.

Meh. Like I said, a blessing in disguise. More time to focus on the one or 2 rps rather than the 3 or 4. though it is a bit disconcerting and I cant help but blame myself.

Btw, got a couple of plot points I need to go over with you. I need to set up a vitally important motivation for later, and to do so, I need Solomon to take some hits and to eventually succumb to the attacking rangers. Shortly after, he'll be killed (or close to it), albeit temporarily. Is that okay?

Also, since their attacks aren't particularly powerful or complicated, I think it would be efficient for you to handle the combat with them. As long as they aren't killed and don't come off too incompetent, I see no need to micromanage the three attackers.

Oh! Speaking of micromanagement, I'm thinking you and I should establish a god-moding rule for efficiency's sake: Any unnamed or otherwise non-notable NPC is up for grabs and may be freely god-moded unless otherwise noted. Named characters may not be god-moded for any reason (except, of course, when otherwise noted). The rule will apply to us both.

Will this work? Combat will play a substantial role in this RP (if I have my way), and I think this should help streamline it.

So I need to lead him to death using the three attackers? I think I can do that.

And I think I see where you're going with this. I will do my best to keep up.

I should probably explain that scene a little.

In this universe, resurrection is no easy task. It takes about 7-8 seconds for a person's spirit to fully separate once bodily integrity is lost. If the spirit fully separates, their soul disperses, and the death is permanent. So if a healer can restore bodily integrity and drag your spirit back into your body within 7-8 seconds, you can be resurrected. Thus, it was super-imporant to have him resurrected in a timely manner.

I also had to give Solomon the Mark of the Hero. The Mark prevents memory loss and muscle atrophy, allowing for all improvements to be permanent. It's also a universal symbol that he has been chosen to save humanity from evil, so everyone from kings to commoners will recognize it.

Since I happen to have a character able to offer all of the above, I decided to kill two birds with one stone and use her.

Also, yes, Commander Rose Fairmont is a healer too, albeit a rogue.
