Appearance
Strong and tall are two such things one would say about the half Russian half Norwegian boy at first glance. Then comes the blond hair, beard, and blue eyes. The boy stands at just over 6'3” and weighs 245 lbs. he is no stranger to hard work and his body shows it. Muscular, fit with many signs of scars and abuse taken from the elements and his father.
The boy’s hair is shaved at the sides and a bit longer than what it's supposed to be on top, always pushed back towards his shoulders. He will normally be seen wearing the simple standard issue green working uniform with polished black combat boots. He never really cared about being fancy and tends to keep his uniform neat enough to not get called out on it.
Personality
With being young, strong, and fast most would not be wrong to assume his attitude would be reckless and overconfident. However, Victor tends to be more withdrawn and careful especially when speaking to others. He has an awful habit of being too blunt or not tactful enough in most situations. In turn this tends to make others think he is rude or shy. His body language normally portrays kindness and a willingness to protect others. In the heat of battle his eyes betray the cold killer that lies under the surface, one may even be able to see him smile.
But otherwise, he is still a boy hardened by a rough father who blamed him for his mother’s death. He isn’t too brash when talking to the opposite sex and wouldn’t be one to find them any less valuable. Any man or women that is willing to fight by his side is worthy of his respect. Although not a stranger to friendship and kindness, he honestly wouldn’t know what to do with himself if it ever came to love.

The SU L-39 MK.3 is a Russian variant of the Finnish LAHTI L-39 Anti-Tank rifle. This version fires experimental High Explosive Anti Tank or HEAT rounds as well as Armor Penetrating rounds that contain a new shaped slug. both rounds have been designed to penetrate the thick armor of the new German war machines. This gun has also been designed to be lighter without making any more structural weaknesses. This weapon was designed with the intent to disable and capture enemy armor not destroy it.
Be Advised, the Automatic setting is not advised with HEAT rounds due to multiple jams. A jam could take several minutes to fix and it is advised that the jammed round be discarded incase it detonates while outside the breach. Do not aim at sloped or thicker front plates with this weapon as ricochet is likely. This weapon is not recommended for stealth missions as it is very loud and has a large muzzle flash when fired.

Background
Victor was born November 20th 1931 in Oslo Norway, to an old Russian military man and veteran of the great war and a young beautiful Norwegian women who was an aspiring actress. Both were deeply in love and planned to live together in Norway with his fathers two children from another women and their new born son. But alas tragedy struck in the form of an infection that, even through many treatments would ultimately claim his mothers life a few months later. This would be something Victors father would blame him for, for the next 10 years.
After this his father became depressed and turned to the bottle to help. Erasing his plans of living in Norway the man took his three children back to Russia and the USSR. There they would continue their lives in the family home they hopped would only be used for vacations. While his father took to long days at work in the propaganda department of the USSR and long nights out at the bars and out of the house his aunt and a few other family members helped to care for the children, his sister Sara who was 6 and his brother Ivan who was 8.
For the next ten years his father would deal with his anger and unresolved issues by continually beating all of his kids. Victor learned early on how to stay out of the mans way and out of sight. For a time before his older brother left he would hide and let his brother take most of the beating. By the time he turned 8 and his brother was out of the house most days either working in the factories or doing training with the army to prepare for boot camp. This left 8 year old Victor and his rather frail 14 year old sister to his fathers wrath. It was at this time Victor started to stand up to his father, provoking him, so he would come after him and not his sister. His sister by this time was very familiar with how to properly treat wounds and as such got plenty of training for the hospital while at home.
When Victor turned ten he began to grow taller, stronger, and a bit more aggressive to the point where he was actively fighting back against his father. Still, to this day he is unsure of what prompted himself to do it but near his 11th birthday, after receiving a beating the night before, he ambushed his father with a wooden club. Beating the man to near death with the full intent of killing the man right then and there. Yet he stopped, the cruel father he had who showed very little emotion other than rage was crying.
It took him a year for his father to finally come to terms with himself and get over his alcohol addiction. Victor wouldn't be able to trust the man for a few more years to come, it was strange that after 12 years he finally had someone who he could call father. Being the only child left in the household with his sister off to nursing school and his brother off somewhere in the soviet air force left just him and his father. He slowly began to trust the man as they began to go hunting, his father teaching him how to shoot, track, clean a kill, and survive.
After a few years Roman began teaching him how to wield a sword and about the old Norse gods, a tradition passed from father to son on his mothers side. He knew that being openly religious would not be acceptable if he went on to be a soldier, so he practices in private and try's to keep it a secret. Victors mothers parents never had a son, so they passed on the knowledge to Roman who was planning on teaching it to both his sons before Anita died.
This was normal for him up until his 17th birthday, before this he would work with the local farms or construction crews around the city, growing stronger by the day. Then on his 17th birthday he signed up with the Soviet army, maybe while he was there he could help or protect others. His father wished him the best of luck and gave him their family sword to use in combat, Victor always just figured his father pulled some strings or called in a few favors to allow him to keep it.
Boot camp was interesting, the physical part wasn't anything he wasn't used too. He was able to pick up on the structure and daily routine of the military fairly well. After a little while he was even able to bond with a few of the other recruits and was looking forward to going to Moscow with them. That was until the letter, when they were being told where they were going he was pulled aside by an officer and given his orders. He was being assigned to a top secret project, something called Squad 914.

Hobgoblin "The Variant" - This goblin has been changed in a more dramatic way then his siblings. Throughout his interactions and his training, he was changed making him as large as the others that have evolved however his skin tone has changed to that of pale white. This makes him stand out easily however his skin tone gives him the special affinity for death. His skin has gone pale and as such it will make him harder to not be seen however he can just as easily train his skill to blend with the environment. His claws have grown longer and sharper rivaling that of a wolves claws and his teeth have since become sharper as well making his biting skill more effective. Clearly if looked on in the right light he might look like a wraith or a vengeful ghost. He still has the three claw marks over the right side of his head and ear, as well as the mark on his left side. These marks, although still pale, are slightly darker than his current skin tone. Thanks to his goddess Duvelna, he now has 4 black claw marks stretching from the top of his right shoulder to his lower left abdomen as a sign of his faith.
Goblin - Gird has an average height and strong build. His skin is a darker than average shade of green with lighter green blotches abound giving him an almost natural forest camouflage. Gird also has two white birth marks. One looks like he was scratched by something with three claws down the right side of his head, and the second looks almost like something big bit him in the left side of his abdomen. His black hair is normally kept short and his eyes hold a yellow color.
Personality: Stoic, Brave, Stubborn, and Blunt are a few words that can describe this particular male. His loyalty to the tribe will not falter for any promise of gold or harm. He holds within him a sense of duty to his people and will do what he thinks he must do to protect them.
Past Life History: Grid was once known as Victor. A tall brute of a man with a soft spot for animals. Victor worked with a group that protected endangered animals from poachers by hunting poachers. He was even able to befriend a few of the wild animals that were around. But one day while on patrol he was mauled to death by a wounded predator.
Skill: Beast Tammer — a trait carried over from his past life. It allows him to befriend and tame beasts. Some that are lower level than he is, to the point he wouldn't learn anything from them, may very well simply ignore him or treat him as one of their own. Either way Gird seems to have a natural affinity with taming or understanding beasts and monsters.
Other: He simply wishes that one day he will be a mighty goblin that will be able to protect his tribe for years to come.

He looked pretty much the same, all things considered. If anything, his skin tone had grown healthier and deeper. His hair was more voluminous and longer. His wings were stronger and larger--and it felt that he could move them more precisely, as well. If he relaxed them, instead of folding behind him like a dragonfly they now hung somewhat like a stiff cape down his back. His chest still bore those three scars and his hands were still stained...
But now, he stood a full foot and a half taller than before, not quite as tall as any Goblin but much larger and broader than a Pixie. His body had become more muscular--or rather, the muscles he had actually looked like they fit this body, whereas before he had stacked muscle on a frame that clearly wasn't meant for it. Still, it seemed obvious given the degree of tone and size now present that a normal Hipixie still wouldn't be this...buff.

Meditate I - Through calming the mind and stimulating the soul, one clears their thoughts to form an unblocked conduit with ambient Mana in the environment. This increases the recovery speed of MP and Stamina. Acquired at level up.
Point Strike I - With a discerning eye, take aim at an oppenent's weak point and concentrate your own power into a single point of attack. Slightly increase the power of any attack, and gain an increased chance for a Critical Hit. Using this Skill in conjunction with other attack Skills, however, may cause it to lose effectiveness.

Minor Heal III - MP Cost increased. HP Heal increased. Healing can now be used on deeper wounds, but is still less effective on bones. As an Active Spell Skill, you may use any rank of this spell you are capable of within the limits of your MP. - Acquired by using skill points at Level up.

He looked pretty much the same, all things considered. If anything, his skin tone had grown healthier and deeper. His hair was more voluminous and longer. His wings were stronger and larger--and it felt that he could move them more precisely, as well. If he relaxed them, instead of folding behind him like a dragonfly they now hung somewhat like a stiff cape down his back. His chest still bore those three scars and his hands were still stained...
But now, he stood a full foot and a half taller than before, not quite as tall as any Goblin but much larger and broader than a Pixie. His body had become more muscular--or rather, the muscles he had actually looked like they fit this body, whereas before he had stacked muscle on a frame that clearly wasn't meant for it. Still, it seemed obvious given the degree of tone and size now present that a normal Hipixie still wouldn't be this...buff.

Ardur was once known as Travis Smith and worked and lived in the weird city of Portland Oregon. Now Travis had a rather normal upbringing with nothing too significant happening to him. He had parents that worked in industry. His father, worked with shipping containers as a foreman. His mother, worked with air cargo as a manager. Both did rather well for their family and kept them in a modest home. He had two younger sisters, twins actually. Both were dead set on joining the navy after they graduated.
Now Travis learned early on through volunteer work with his high school, that helping others was what he wanted to do. So instead of joining up with the military, was able to get a few scholarships and went into paramedic courses and physical trainer classes. Both of which he excelled at, finding his purpose in helping others. He did adopt a strange and sometimes dark sense of humor through this to deal with the stressful work environment of a paramedic. he filled his down time with listening and singing along to a variety of different modern and classic music as well as watching nature documentary's to help him relax.
For a time his life was good. He did what he could to help others through work and volunteering. Travis learned more about himself then he expected too. Working one week on one week off was a bit of a pain but it allowed him to work with some local athletes in his free time. Travis eventually found himself to be quiet in the company of others, always with a smile on his face. He did tend to be a bit pushy toward the people he was working with. He wanted to see them grow and be great. Somehow he adopted a protective side to him as well, especially towards his friends or the people he loved. This protective instinct would eventually lead to his down fall.
Travis, now 32, was going to be married in three months to a beautiful short red head named Sara, who just so happened to be a couple months pregnant. Sara was the one person who could really light a fire under him and get him to do anything. She was his motivation to be better, she was his muse. The last night he would be working was a stormy one. Just past midnight with rain, wind, and thunder. A strong winter storm. He was called out with his partner to a domestic. Apparently the husband beat his wife up pretty bad then ran out into the night.
The two paramedics didn’t think anything of it. It wasn’t the first time they had been called out to something like this and it wouldn’t be the last. The police officers that stayed at the residence called out that the scene was safe as they approached. A severely beaten female sat on the hood of one of the police cars. Travis and his partner approached her and began to asses her injuries. The police officers were nearby interviewing some neighbors when it happened. He saw him out of the corner of his eye. A man brandishing a revolver came at them from in between a few houses intent on killing the woman.
Travis didn’t think he only reacted. Grabbing the woman and turning away from the man he tried to push her away and around the ambulance. He remembered hearing thunder and a scream. The thunder rang out three times but all he felt was cold as he hit the wet pavement. Several other flashes of lights and thunder rang out into the night as the last thing he remembers was thinking that Sara was going to kill him for this. The blurry and muted voice of his partner and the other officers continued in his head until everything faded, and he was alone and cold.
Then suddenly there was light and a voice talking about rebirth and demon kings. He thought he was hallucinating and thought this was just some sort of way his body dealt with the sudden loss of function, so he decided to play along. So many choices he wondered which one would suit him? The slime seemed nice but strange, the dire Rat just reminded him of filth and garbage. Then there was a wisp it seemed more of a loner and mysterious.

He will use this offensively but rarely, as he losses accuracy the farther he is away from his target. This also helps with his Mechanical Intuition as he can see electricity.

He can't always explain the complex workings of the outlander's technology. Basically, he knows what it does but doesn't always know how it does it.
Victor grew up in L.A. his family wasn't all that well off, living paycheck to paycheck. His father was an auto mechanic and his mother worked at a hotel. He has several brothers and sisters totaling 3 sisters, all younger, and 4 brothers all older. Now Victor wasn't all that special at least at first. After he hit puberty, his abilities began to manifest and with that came trouble.
This trouble came in the form of the occasional blown fuse or nearby transformer, power surges and the like. After a spike in the family's power usage and the ever-increasing power outages in the neighborhood people began to investigate. It wasn't long before Victor was found out and quickly abandoned by his god fearing parents who believed him to be evil or possessed by the devil simply for having powers.
In a fit of rage during a lightning storm, Victor brought the city nearly to its knees in one night. His rage brought destruction and terror scaring the city for years to come. After this little fit that was stopped by a hero named “Stone hammer,” a rather powerful earth magic user. Victor now coined as “Tesla” vanished into the night, hunted by the government and vigilante hero's. He stayed out of the lime light occasionally making a terror drone here and there to cause chaos and havoc wherever he released them.
This continued for a little while until they came, the outlanders, as he called them. They posed both a threat and a target of his greed. He did what he could to help the hero's fight but only when he knew he could get some of this new glorious tech from them. This all stopped once everyone surrendered. Again he went into hiding, trying to stay out of sight and out of mind. However, his greed got the better of him as he was captured with another smaller team in one of their storage facilities.

Reo has a neutral monotone look about him. Standing at an impressive 6'2” with a moderately muscular yet lanky body type. He never really is looking to be part of the spotlight. He tries to keep his black hair short and up off his shoulders with pale white skin, or at least paler than normal. His voice is also slightly monotone and really only changes in depth and pitch if he is excited in some way. The boys eyes are always a constant dull blue that glow when he is using his quirk. Also, others around him may feel the hair on their neck stand up. when dealing with higher charges of electricity, small sparks will arc across his body and sometimes harmlessly arc onto nearby objects.
Personality
The Good:
+ Protective:
Reo can be quite protective of those he sees as friends or values as family. He's never had a real family before and will protect what he has from anyone or anything he views a threat.
+ Level headed:
keeping to his Stoic nature. Reo often keeps calm even in otherwise dangerous or strange circumstances. This also helps him with getting things done in short amounts of time without feeling overly stressed.
+ Industrious:
once Reo has a job and its something he knows he can do, he will get it done. The boy enjoys working with mechanical or computer issues. His work often becomes his sole focus, and he will often forget to eat or sleep while working on a project.
The Bad:
- Mischievous:
Reo likes to trick people and cause small bits of chaos. When he isn't doing anything or working on a project, one can often find the young man making some sort of contraption or robot that harasses others for his own enjoyment.
- Awkward:
Reo doesn't pick up on social queues very well and often comes off as quiet and awkward. He rarely understands the sophisticated art of flirting and barley picks up on it when its directed at him. He can also be rather direct and doesn't beat around the bush even if it would be considered rude.
- Thief:
Living on the streets with the nearest scrap yard miles away, left the young man to his own devices when it came to scavenging. Reo would often steal what ever he could to get the parts he needed for what ever project he was working on. even if given everything he would need the young man would still take things from others if it was more convenient than searching for a part else ware.
Quirk
Tesla's Prodigy.
His quirk is rather simple in a way but does lead him to create very complicated things that he doesn't always understand. Reo can manipulate Electrical currents and has an innate mechanical intuition. With his electrokenisis he is able to give simple commands to technology he is touching. This is used most regularly to pull money from ATM's or manipulate simple computers and phones. For now, he can only do this when he is touching said devices and offensively the most he can do currently is “taze” someone.
As for the mechanical intuition, Reo likes to create and make things that would otherwise be unavailable to him. Whether it is something simple, like a phone app that tracks how much sleep he has gotten in the last few days. To a robot that can work in unison with several other robots at the same time, somewhat like a hive mind. These robots are normally used for pranks or stealing things. He has on occasion made some form of tech that is very complicated and most of the time Reo knows what it does but doesn't always know how it does it.

History
Reo's life was normal up until he turned 6 and his parents died in an incident involving a careless hero. The boy, who had no other living relatives that the official's could get a hold of, was put in an orphanage. He was only there for a little over a year before he was placed in another home. He would like to tell you he got adopted but the first chance he got he ran away.

Living on the streets with the nearest scrap yard miles away, left the young man to his own devices when it came to scavenging. Reo would often steal what ever he could to get the parts he needed for what ever project he was working on. even if given everything he would need the young man would still take things from others if it was more convenient than searching for a part else ware.
Quirk
Tesla's Prodigy.
His quirk is rather simple in a way but does lead him to create very complicated things that he doesn't always understand. Reo can manipulate Electrical currents and has an innate mechanical intuition. With his electrokenisis he is able to give simple commands to technology he is touching. This is used most regularly to pull money from ATM's or manipulate simple computers and phones. For now, he can only do this when he is touching said devices and offensively the most he can do currently is “taze” someone.
As for the mechanical intuition, Reo likes to create and make things that would otherwise be unavailable to him. Whether it is something simple, like a phone app that tracks how much sleep he has gotten in the last few days. To a robot that can work in unison with several other robots at the same time, somewhat like a hive mind. These robots are normally used for pranks or stealing things. He has on occasion made some form of tech that is very complicated and most of the time Reo knows what it does but doesn't always know how it does it.

A strange occurrence for him, truly strange to be summoned by an arch angel. Soft footsteps echoed down the immaculate marbled halls and into a room with a polished stone table. Another stood at the table waiting. His form masked by a veil of pure white light that the boy could not see through. Only the shape of the humanoid being showed through it as he beckoned the young man to come closer.
With a nervous deep breath he slowly stepped closer and up to the table. “You requested my presence?” he asked. His voice was a bit shaky something about this meeting seemed strange or sudden. Whatever his task was Adrian was sure he wasn’t ready.
The form nodded and a deep calm and soothing voice entered his mind, “yes. I have a task for you.” Placing a scroll on the table and slowly unwinding it. The blank canvas soon gave way to runes and markings that were read, heard, and felt all at the same time. Soon the runes broke for a moment and soon a new color arose almost like another scroll or parchment was placed in this one. This new parchment if it could even be called that looked like dried leather or human skin stitched together with care.
He slowly ran his hand across the strange surface and it felt like it burned him just by touching it. The runes and words were hard to read and almost seemed aggressive. He couldn’t make out what it all said, too many strange emotions weaved into its very being. For a moment he was at a loss before he realized what it was.
“This is a contract from a demon.” He paused for a moment, Adrian was caught off guard. “How did you get this here? These are supposed to be forbidden.” He was more than a little taken back from this. He wasn’t a warrior he was a caretaker. Sure he’s had more than a few years of training, but he didn’t believe he was ready for a task like this.
“Yes. It is a bounty” the bright figures head tilted to the side as it spoke. “Apparently some of this demon's offspring have been brought to earth against their will, and he would like them back. Something about it not being the right time or too soon.” Folding its hands in front of its stomach and looking over the young man before him. “This is your task Adrian, the world of man has changed once again. Just try not to do anything foolish this time.”
Adrian looked up at the being with an angry frown, “Pompeii was not my fault” referring to the foolish remark this one had made. “Then I will go and complete this task for you. I will not disappoint you again.” His head hung slightly low as if ashamed and upset at the others remark.
For a moment they stood in silence before the larger figure turned and began to walk away, “be sure to seek out Ada Hawthorne, she will be able to set you on the right path towards your mission. Who knows you might learn a thing or two from them as well.” After that the bright presence slowly left leaving just Adrian and the scroll in the room. Background:
Troy was born to a rather well off family in bend Oregon. His father was a manager at a manufacturing facility and his mother worked as a lawyer. He had an older brother as well that was much more outgoing and intellectually gifted compared to him. They lived in a nice ranch style home just outside the city and enjoyed outdoor activities together. A rather nice and quiet upbringing for him, that was until he was 12.
He remembers that night. Often having nightmares about it. Their family was coming back from a camping trip late one evening. They were supposed to have stayed the whole weekend out at the lake but a storm system was moving in and pushed them out of the area. That same storm caught up with them in the darkness. Now troy wasn’t afraid of storms and actually enjoyed them up until this point. For you see they weren’t alone on that stretch of high way. Another car heading in the opposite direction swerved into their lane. The driver had been drinking and decided to go for a late night drive in the company truck.
He doesn’t remember much after that. The collision gave him a concussion, internal bleeding, several broken ribs, and 3rd degree burns across his chest. His father and brother died in the crash, his mother died shortly after in the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle suffered a broken leg but was otherwise OK. Troy woke up in a hospital a week later and hardly remembered who he was or who his parents were. His aunt Sasha Warnock from Rome Georgia took him in after that, she was a personal trainer that often worked with high level athletes.
Since then, he was rather reclusive after the wreck, dealing with depression and physical therapy. It took him a year before he enrolled in school again. Even then he was still quiet, rarely responding to anything from anyone. He did his school work and went home where his aunt would teach him about Wicca and work with him through his depression.
Skills / Training:
Troy excels at anything that requires him to work with his hands. Blacksmithing, carpentry, mechanic work, landscaping, plumbing. He favors blacksmithing over the others. He is currently training on whatever medical courses he can get his hands on and holds an advanced first aid and CPR certificate. The boy also has good skills with wielding swords and axes as well as with boxing.
When it comes to spells and the like. Well, he’s a natural and a born witch he just doesn’t know it. He has an elemental gift being the blessing of fire. With this gift he always seems to be warm but never overheats and has an affinity but not an obsession with fire. Other than that he practices candle and rune magic. He is a little unsure of how much this actually helps him and others but tries his best to work with protection and luck magic.

Background:
Troy was born to a rather well off family in bend Oregon. His father was a manager at a manufacturing facility and his mother worked as a lawyer. He had an older brother as well that was much more outgoing and intellectually gifted compared to him. They lived in a nice ranch style home just outside the city and enjoyed outdoor activities together. A rather nice and quiet upbringing for him, that was until he was 12.
He remembers that night. Often having nightmares about it. Their family was coming back from a camping trip late one evening. They were supposed to have stayed the whole weekend out at the lake but a storm system was moving in and pushed them out of the area. That same storm caught up with them in the darkness. Now troy wasn’t afraid of storms and actually enjoyed them up until this point. For you see they weren’t alone on that stretch of high way. Another car heading in the opposite direction swerved into their lane. The driver had been drinking and decided to go for a late night drive in the company truck.
He doesn’t remember much after that. The collision gave him a concussion, internal bleeding, several broken ribs, and 3rd degree burns across his chest. His father and brother died in the crash, his mother died shortly after in the hospital. The driver of the other vehicle suffered a broken leg but was otherwise OK. Troy woke up in a hospital a week later and hardly remembered who he was or who his parents were. His aunt Sasha Warnock from Rome Georgia took him in after that, she was a personal trainer that often worked with high level athletes.
Since then, he was rather reclusive after the wreck, dealing with depression and physical therapy. It took him a year before he enrolled in school again. Even then he was still quiet, rarely responding to anything from anyone. He did his school work and went home where his aunt would teach him about Wicca and work with him through his depression.
Skills / Training:
Troy excels at anything that requires him to work with his hands. Blacksmithing, carpentry, mechanic work, landscaping, plumbing. He favors blacksmithing over the others. He is currently training on whatever medical courses he can get his hands on and holds an advanced first aid and CPR certificate. The boy also has good skills with wielding swords and axes as well as with boxing.
When it comes to spells and the like. Well, he’s a natural and a born witch he just doesn’t know it. He has an elemental gift being the blessing of fire. With this gift he always seems to be warm but never overheats and has an affinity but not an obsession with fire. Other than that he practices candle and rune magic. He is a little unsure of how much this actually helps him and others but tries his best to work with protection and luck magic.

She mostly just sits in her favorite chair in the living room and either watches TV or looks out the front window. When troy is home he spends his time talking to her about his day or working the forge he built in their back yard. there is also an old shed in the back yard that's partially covered in vines, locked behind the door is an alter Sasha helped him make.

Standing 6’5 and being a little over 220 lbs. with broad shoulders and an athletic body, Asim can be a bit intimidating. Normally keeping his thick black hair shaven leaving only his short beard. He has a darker skin tone matching his Arabic ethnicity but speaks without an accent in a rather deep tone of voice. He has many small and large tattoos across his back, chest and arms mostly related to his time served in the army. Scars also litter his fore arms, mostly small scratches and cuts. Entering into a trance and muttering words he does not know or remember, a black void opens beneath him and he sinks in. after a certain amount of time, a creature will emerge that he shares a mental and physical connection. What emerges has only refered to itself once as Naswaru. Once the creature is dismissed or destroyed, he will appear were it last stood unharmed but fatigued.
Evolved specimen – there is a 5% chance that whatever comes back through the void is evolved or at a higher level than the others of the same type. These specimens have stronger and have more powerful ability’s. However, they are harder for Isaac to control and he is more susceptible to their natural urges and instincts.
Somewhere overhead, you hear it. Something pounds at the air. A hideous black thing slides across the stars. Giant membranous wings carry it through the air, beating like those of some mythical fiend. There’s something about it that lets you know it’s only toying with you…
Naswaru stands more than 8ft. tall and is most frightening. It also regenerates at an absurd rate, healing from death’s door to your doorstep in a matter of a half hour. And just plain overall, its physical gifts are not to be underestimated. massive bat-like wings sprout from the Vampire’s back. Nearly thirty feet from tip to tip, these wings are capable of carrying it high through the sky. it is death from above.
Everything about this creature screams pain. Its Exsanguinating Touch
literally causes blood to boil, bursting out of the body of its victim. Inanimate objects crack and sizzle as if acid were poured onto it. Those who have been tortured by this one typically bear terrible scarring from ruined capillaries and veins rupturing through their skin. The
size of pencils but twice as thick, the stingers they fire are covered in
inch-long barbs.
Naswaru is sadistic, blood thirsty, and deadly. It's personality traits have already begun to develop with in Isaac causing a need to inflict pain and an unholy thirst for blood combined with the patience of a predator and an arrogance borne of birds of prey.
On another note although he has a mouth it does not have vocal cords and instead projects its thoughts telepathically one way to talk to others in this form. In a sense you can hear him but unless you speak he cant hear you.
Weaknesses:
When he dives he never comes back the same, there is a toll that must be paid for making the call. Sometimes it’s just a memory, it can be changed, erased, or not even his own. It could manifest as a twitch or unknown desire. Normally he comes back with personality traits of the beast.
If someone were to ever gain control of his mind and force him to call to the void, he nor the person who forced him to will be in control of the demon. The creature will do whatever its primary goal would be without the care for collateral damage. If the creature suffers enough damage or is out for at most 6 hours it will dissipate and Isaac will be rendered unconscious.
It takes a little time for him to complete the incantation and slip into the void, if someone were to interrupt this the call would not work and he would have to try again. It is not instantaneous.
Even though the creature looks like it is from another world, he is still just a human and suffers from the same ailments and issues regular humans have.
Eventually the beast will consume him entirely, this is what Hex warned. Without his pendant the beast has more influence on his reasoning and compulsions.

Deep sunken brown eyes, a thousand yard stare, and a permanent scowl are the first to greet you when you first meet him. Always sporting short neatly shaved hair and looking like he had not shaved for the last few days. The smell of smoke and cheap cologne, not strong enough to put someone off but definitely there.
His skin always looks a little dirty and covered in various tattoos of different colors and images. These tattoos hide scars of a tortured and broken past long before he was given his ability. One thing that stands out with these tattoos and markings is several symbols of other hero’s. Some forgotten to time, others who are no longer among the living, and a few that still walk the streets and back allies.
He has the look of someone who has seen or done some very bad things and has no one to blame but himself for it. Wearing an old patched up and partially reinforced leather trench coat that’s adorned with patches and pins. Under that is normally business clothes and some reinforced slacks that have seen better days. A tie, black but occasionally red, hangs lazily around his neck and an old leather backpack make up his traveling clothes.
Equipment:
Other than his average reinforced clothes he carries a staff that doubles as a walking stick. Strong metal ground to a point on one end and electricity surging through the other. Isaac is highly trained and skilled with most melee weaponry, gaining the skills mostly out of boredom than anything.

Isaac is a cold and quiet man, always trying to atone for what he has done through his actions. He will always be the first to offer assistance or help. Often spending what little money he has on helping others in need with food or shelter. If he senses they are having issues or are just lonely he may even break out of his cold personality and try to talk to them.
Slow to anger with a depressed look about him, he finds himself sometimes thinking a bit too much on the given circumstances. The last thing he wants is to get into a fight and will try his best not too unless given no other choices. He has a fear of his ability’s and what they can do and does not like to show them off. However if asked, he is more than willing to open up and talk about them.
He isn’t one to lose his composure or give up early more than likely he will try his best and give it his all on any given task. Always the protector, he would never leave anyone behind and is always willing to make the sacrifice play.
Misc. Facts:
Isaac enjoys singing and playing the guitar, he usually carries a holographic guitar but has an old wooden one at the church. He also enjoys Asian style foods more than others, always finding the time for a good noodle shop.
On a bad day or after a change the voice of Naswaru lingers and talks to him. One could very well see him as being crazy for having a conversation with some one who isn't there.
Naswaru wasn't always a demon, in the beginning it was an angel and it has slowly grown more dangerous and twisted with every use.
Relationship with Hex:
Hex was a strange character, a man that wondered into his church one day while Isaac was still fighting crime and wanted to speak to him about their god. After a brief conversation he revealed he was not here for the religion but for him, to talk to him about his power. Isaac being one to not turn someone away, listened to what he had to say. After their talk about eldritch magic and entities from another realm meant to fight evil, Isaac was more than convinced to let the man attempt to help him. The help he received was in the form of a necklace that helped him control the ones he banded too. Now with him gone Isaac feels indebted to the old man to at least make an effort to figure out what he was doing.

Always sporting short neatly shaved hair and looking like he had not shaved for the last few days. The smell of smoke and cheap cologne, not strong enough to put someone off but definitely there.
His skin always looks a little dirty and covered in various tattoos of different colors and images. These tattoos hide scars of a tortured and broken past long before he was given his ability. One thing that stands out with these tattoos and markings is several symbols of other hero’s. Some forgotten to time, others who are no longer among the living, and a few that still walk the streets and back allies.
He has the look of someone who has seen or done some very bad things and has no one to blame but himself for it. Wearing an old patched up and partially reinforced leather trench coat that’s adorned with patches and pins. Under that is normally business clothes and some reinforced slacks that have seen better days. A tie, black but occasionally red, hangs lazily around his neck and an old leather backpack make up his traveling clothes.
The suit he wears was designed to make it so he wouldn’t be easily effected by airborne pollutants, intoxicants, or hallucinogens. Supporting its own self-contained breathing apparatus with oxygen and air scrubbers. As well as being reinforced, a contained layer of medical gel sits just on the inside of the suit, meant to both fill holes in the suit and himself. The last thing his suit has are morphine injectors and pain blockers. These are used when he believes he will be interrupted while beginning his ritual.
Equipment:
Other than his average reinforced clothes he carries a staff that doubles as a walking stick. Strong metal ground to a point on one end and electricity surging through the other. Isaac is highly trained and skilled with most melee weaponry, gaining the skills mostly out of boredom than anything.

Personality:
Isaac is a cold and quiet man, always trying to atone for what he has done through his actions. He will always be the first to offer assistance or help. Often spending what little money he has on helping others in need with food or shelter. If he senses they are having issues or are just lonely he may even break out of his cold personality and try to talk to them.
Slow to anger with a depressed look about him, he finds himself sometimes thinking a bit too much on the given circumstances. The last thing he wants is to get into a fight and will try his best not too unless given no other choices. He has a fear of his ability’s and what they can do and does not like to show them off. However if asked, he is more than willing to open up and talk about them.
He isn’t one to lose his composure or give up early more than likely he will try his best and give it his all on any given task. Always the protector, he would never leave anyone behind and is always willing to make the sacrifice play.
Misc. Facts:
Isaac enjoys singing and playing the guitar, he usually carries a holographic guitar but has an old wooden one at the church. He also enjoys Asian style foods more than others, always finding the time for a good noodle shop.
On a bad day or after a change the voice of Naswaru lingers and talks to him. One could very well see him as being crazy for having a conversation with some one who isn't there.
Naswaru wasn't always a demon, in the beginning it was an angel and it has slowly grown more dangerous and twisted with every use.
Relationship with Hex:
Hex was a strange character, a man that wondered into his church one day while Isaac was still fighting crime and wanted to speak to him about their god. After a brief conversation he revealed he was not here for the religion but for him, to talk to him about his power. Isaac being one to not turn someone away, listened to what he had to say. After their talk about eldritch magic and entities from another realm meant to fight evil, Isaac was more than convinced to let the man attempt to help him. The help he received was in the form of a necklace that helped him control the ones he banded too. Now with him gone Isaac feels indebted to the old man to at least make an effort to figure out what he was doing.

Merik hatched along many of his other brood mates into a hostile world full of danger and strife. The next meal was never promised and his tribe was always on the move. He learned quick, learned of the hunt, the jungle and swamp they called home, the many dangers that permeated their existence. Their world was harsh and the strong magic used by the other races forced them to constantly be on the move.
Merik soon found through his early years that there was so much more to look for and see. What little food he was able to gain from the outside world only seemed to further fuel his curiosity. He would steal or barter from any trader that happened through their territory, anything he could for a bit more food and a story or two. However soon his wish came true, his tribe was searching for the other tribes that splintered off them to grow stronger.
To secure their place at the top and lead the tribes their tribe needed to be stronger and that would require magic. Now Merik was not the most skilled magic user but he still had the ability that was all the proof the chieftain needed. He gave Merik a task, go out into the world and learn the smooth skins big magic so that their tribe could survive and be stronger. Merik took little convincing to go; he didn't say good bye just did as he was told.
Merik only recently found his way to the city of Forsaken, helping to escort a caravan of traders. it was slow going but allowed him to get accustomed to some of the other races and the new environment he found himself in. however it did help knowing some of these people, after only being there a short time he received a piece of paper with writing on it. The traders he helped get to the city were kind enough to help him find his way to the tavern and room. Somehow, he felt they were glad to be rid of him.

Skills: Given his advanced training, Grik is an Explosives and Artillery Expert both with human and covenant ordnance but prefers covenant. He even has an exceptional understanding with disarming explosives and is a great linguist. Being able to understand all of the covenant languages as well as speak most. Even going as far to learn a few human languages and Huragok sign language. Aside from that Grik is a natural born climber and is adept at repairing most equipment.

Unggoy don't have last names or at least didn't in the covenant, instead he took the last name from the ship he was tasked out to, Seeker.
The Seeker of Truth or just "the Seeker" is a CAS-class assault carrier and flagship for the Fleet of Particular Justice. To him it was an honorable position one he took great pride in. he soon found himself in multiple conflicts through multiple worlds in their purge of the humans. Showing again and again how well he could use his skills as an effective Unggoy leader verses small groups of armed humans military or otherwise.
With a rather high success rate and low mortality rate for his squads he was yet again promoted and given more training. Grik would use what free time he had to talk and learn from the other races that would listen to him, even going as far as learning human languages to better understand their music he enjoyed so much. Soon he found himself receiving training to join up with the special operations Unggoy only a few months before the Fleet would hit their next target, Reach.
The battle for Reach was long and bloody the casualty rate for his squad was rather high giving him the chance for promotions. In return he was able to show his superiors his ability with the fuel rod cannon and the explosives training he received to great effect. Being able to take out emplacements and fortified structures with well-placed shots and explosives with little oversight or orders to do so. Showing once again his fearlessness and proficiency with artillery weapons.
After the battle of reach and his continued service aboard "The Seeker" led him to the most glorious moment of his short life. The ability to gaze upon instillation 04. He didn't see much combat wise during that fight, his team always seemed to be sent to retrieve something but never really engaged in combat other than against the sentinels of the ring. His team was still on "The Seeker of Truth" when the ship master ordered the retreat from the ring and subsequently survived, only hearing rumors of monsters and demons from the badly shaken crew members that returned.
Grikgar returned with the ship to High Charity and his team was ultimately transferred to "The Reverence" a CPV-class heavy destroyer. The Unggoy participated in many smaller strike missions aboard the destroyer. Then everything began to change, political upheaval and a civil war that spanned the entire covenant. After word that some of the Sangheili that he had fought alongside in many battles had been killed, he joined alongside them to fight with them.
After the end of the war Grikgar was tired, he was almost ten years old now. Most Unggoy would barely make it past their 5th birthday. Still, it would seem that his dedication and loyalty would pay off in the end. The new hierarchy of the swords of Sanghelios hand picked him among only a handful of other Unggoy to receive the rank of Ultra with one Unggoy by the name of Stolt given the rank of Ranger and put in command of Sangheili Rangers. Grikgar is unsure why he was given this rank and why he was eventually sent to a human / covenant team. Politics was never his strong suit, he’s just doing what he is told.

Merik is very large for a lizard folk standing 8 feet tall, rippled with large muscles and thick scales, his normally forest colored scales marred as black as night. His abnormally large size, powerful frame, and colored scales are all indications of being dragon touched. A rare genetic trait that tends to skip a generation or two, said to be a gift from the great dragon himself. Lizardfolk with this trait tend to be great warriors or chieftains due to their physical prowess. The front of his neck is dark red in color, a fin akin to that of a Mohawk follows the middle of his skull and down his neck. A long muscular tail follows him where ever he goes. His large hands and feet end in webbed toes and sharp claws hinting at their aquatic nature. Gold sharp eyes and the teeth of a predator adorn his face.
Normally Merik will wear stone plate armor, a gift made specifically for him to both help protect him and hide some of his frightening appearance from the humans who would more than likely call him a monster than a friend. The stone, wood, and leather that make up his armor is normally too heavy for most and reserved for dwarves but they made an exception for him. The armor is able to keep his movements quiet and comfortable, none of the metal on metal sounds the others have. Given the Lizardfolk tendency’s to fully submerge himself in water and hide out of sight to ambush others, getting him an armor that wouldn’t rust was important.
Otherwise, when he is alone and not in public he opts for a simple loin cloth or nothing at all.

The Razor Thorn Mountains, his new home. From the start he was chained and mistreated, fed enough to keep him strong and trained in combat. His captors used a language he was not familiar with only ever learning enough to get by. Those who captured him had different but similar forms, it wouldn’t be until later that he would find out that they were humans and a few elves. They were intent on training him to fight and kill whatever they put him against, carving out strange stones from them after he was done. The high wooden walls and armed guards were always their always persistent to keep him locked up so they could make more money off of him. They called it an arena.
He had a friend in the dreary place, there wasn’t much to do but wait in his cage. The human that was locked up with him called himself Arwen. The man would tell him stories of knight’s and war, peace and prosperity. He used terms and taught him words he could not conceptualize but it was a nice break from the constant fighting. The man told him about the empire, his time spent their as a knight, the people and how their everyday life was, and most importantly he taught him about honor and kindness.
It was a stormy day when his life changed again. Arwen always said that his people would come for him, a captured knight of the empire. He said he was worth a lot to some people Merik did not know why. The guards were alerted to something outside, something that made them leave their posts and go outside. He could hear shouting and metal against metal the sounds of a fight. Arwen convinced him to break them out of the cage and once they were outside most of the guards had been killed.
Men wearing shining metal armor with insignia’s he did not recognize pointed swords and spears at him. Merik was ready for a fight but before he could do anything Arwen stopped them. The man approached the others and talked to them using more words he did not know until eventually came to an agreement. Spears and swords where pointed at him still but he was brought before who he could only assume was their leader. Arwen explained what was happening to Merik that these men were from the empire, that they had rescued him and by extension Merik as well.
The Lizardfolk was not entirely sure but Arwen had never lied to him. He knelt slowly to the man, dropping himself to one knee with his head down. He told the man, “Merik life saved, Merik life yours.” Pledging his life debt to the man before him little did he know the man was the prince himself.
Personality quirks: Merik has two sides to him, the curious gentle soul and the battle hardened fighter that will let little get past him. Growing up in a cage the large reptile is still learning a lot about the world around him. His sense of curiosity matched only by his aloof nature while he continually seeks to learn more of the world and the culture of the empire. However, in a fight he is extremely protective of his allies combined with a cantankerous attitude and a near rage to end any fight quickly makes him a dangerous opponent. Also food motivated.

Intimidating Roar – A Roar he can use to demoralize opponents, in some cases can make them run in fear.
Heightened Senses – His sense of smell, sight, and hearing are strong and keen, and His species can see in the dark in black and white.
Nature Magic Affinity – Is not practiced and can only make some things grow right now, is currently trying to learn how to heal others with it.

Backstory:
Growing up just a few years after the war was a bit rough. The area his family lived in was almost entirely destroyed. Other than being careful about alien and old war debris his upbringing was rather uneventful. He grew up and learned with his brothers and sisters, his parents worked construction and in the local factories whatever they could to help build their community back to their former glory.
However this was until the old alien weapon activated. A bomb that didn't go off in the initial invasion until an unknowing construction team set it off while excavating. 4 city blocks where vaporized instantly with the destruction enveloping another 5 blocks surrounding it. He was nearly an adult, he almost was caught in the explosion. Roman got out unharmed but the rest of his family where either caught in the initial explosion or died in the rubble with many others.
He enlisted right after this happened. Somehow he cleared the medical exams and went in to the heavy fighters first, but found his calling in a MEC suit. This time he didn't have to give up his arms or legs, however he still jumped at the chance for a brain implant that would better connect him to his suit but had a high probability of effecting his memory. With this and enhanced eyes he took on the role of a MEC suit operator.
Even with this he is still quiet around other people outside of combat and has difficulty understanding certain situations in social gatherings. His implant helps him excel in his suit but it dampens his humanity slightly. Along with this he still suffers from night terrors and sometimes extreme headaches or migraines. If you were to ask him why he took those experimental augments his answer would never change, "So others don’t have too."
A strong man with a strong build, blond hair and green eyes. he's not the best looking fellow but he knows what he is doing when it comes to the MEC suits. he stands right at 6 foot with more than a few scars adorning his muscled frame.

Growing up just a few years after the war was a bit rough. The area his family lived in was almost entirely destroyed. Other than being careful about alien and old war debris his upbringing was rather uneventful. He grew up and learned with his brothers and sisters, his parents worked construction and in the local factories whatever they could to help build their community back to their former glory.
However this was until the old alien weapon activated. A bomb that didn't go off in the initial invasion until an unknowing construction team set it off while excavating. 4 city blocks where vaporized instantly with the destruction enveloping another 5 blocks surrounding it. He was nearly an adult, he almost was caught in the explosion. Roman got out unharmed but the rest of his family where either caught in the initial explosion or died in the rubble with many others.
He enlisted right after this happened. Somehow he cleared the medical exams and went in to the heavy fighters first, but found his calling in a MEC suit. This time he didn't have to give up his arms or legs, however he still jumped at the chance for a brain implant that would better connect him to his suit but had a high probability of effecting his memory. With this and enhanced eyes he took on the role of a MEC suit operator.
Even with this he is still quiet around other people outside of combat and has difficulty understanding certain situations in social gatherings. His implant helps him excel in his suit but it dampens his humanity slightly. Along with this he still suffers from night terrors and sometimes extreme headaches or migraines. If you were to ask him why he took those experimental augments his answer would never change, "So others don’t have too."
A strong man with a strong build, blond hair and green eyes. he's not the best looking fellow but he knows what he is doing when it comes to the MEC suits. he stands right at 6 foot with more than a few scars adorning his muscled frame.

Chasing Shadows
One could very well say that Rook is naïve, air headed, and never takes things seriously. One could very well be right about this. The happy go lucky Faunus has a knack for always being silly with an upbeat and open personality. Childish and aloof with an ever so abundant accident prone way about him. Rook’s care free personality stems from his upbringing looking at every situation as a stress free game that always has something fun to do or learn. Even in the most desperate of situations he will always greet you with a smile and try his best to make you smile.
However, his care free personality and seemingly endless youthful energy is his way of hiding how he truly is. Being known as the local idiot does have its perks. For one people just see the friendly outgoing personality but in reality he is hiding his true self out of fear. Hidden deep down under all the fluff is a mind laden with psychopathic tendencies and Sadistic ideas. He’s well aware of the monster that lurks under the surface but is trying his best to manage.
Rook is a Pangolin Faunus, because of this he has a layer of natural armor plates that crawl across his back, under his arms, in front of his legs, and partially up his neck and head as well as over his shoulders. Other than his night vision and tendencies to eat insects, these are the only traits he picked up from his Faunus parents. He stands at only 5’4” but has broad shoulders and wide hips that support his muscular and robust frame. He has blond hair that is normally brushed back and kept somewhat short with a bit of a small beard already growing.
The Faunus is not the best looking person around but falls into the average category. His skin tone tends to be tanner and his scales have a near permanent brown color to them which helps him blend into the desert surroundings. His eye color is a darker golden yellow color and can be reflective in the dark giving away his night vision.

Rook was born to two Faunus parents, his mother was a tall, slender, and agile fox Faunus and his father was a short, strong, and sturdy Pangolin. obviously you can tell which parent he takes after. His family in the early years were nomadic keeping to the sand stone cliffs and plateaus of the eastern border with Vale. His clan would migrate throughout the year stopping here and there to the houses and homes cut and dug into the very sandstone of the cliffs.
His people where very good at surviving off the land and would harvest rare herbs and plants to sell at some of the settlements they passed through. Vacuan is a vast and hard place to live but his tribe made due, they were a very defensive orientated people. Preferring to hide and wait out passing bandit clans and hordes of Grimm. The strategy that they had for dealing with the Grimm was something they engrained into their very nature and culture. They were quite aware that Grimm were attracted to negative emotions so they structured themselves around only positive things.
In this way of being happy all the time and seeing everything as a game or a fun thing to learn even if it was hard kept them from attracting Grimm like many other settlements. This was how they and he survived day by day one step at a time. Sure they still had their bad days but it was working so far. Rooks upbringing was happy even through the struggles of finding enough food or supplies for everyone yet they always seemed to have just enough.
Then came the day where he would be old enough to join the academy. His clan always sent at least someone every other year to the school. They did this in the hopes that once they were fully trained they would someday return to the clan to help protect them later. A simple request that Rook accepted happily. At first it was thought that he may be one of those few unlucky enough to not have a semblance at all. The amount of Aura he had was a bit better than average but nothing spectacular happened at first. It took him helping his father to realize that his Semblance was to empower others. The most he could do for himself was strengthen his base attributes but with Empower he could aid others and either make their Semblance more powerful or effective, or give some of his aura to them temporarily.
Like all new skills this is something he still has to practice on as it is far from perfect. As for some of the things that effect his ability there are a few things that effect the effectiveness of it in the first place. The main thing is emotion and bond, the more familiar he is with someone the stronger the bond. The bond helps him concentrate and remain connect to that person to aid them. The other is emotion, the better he is able to read and replicate the emotion of the person he is linked to the better he can control how much or how fast he can give them aura to influence their own.
Currently he has to be physically touching the other person to start the link but he feels that in the future he may only need to look at them. The range he can keep this link active varies from person to person. But again Rook believes that this can also be improved upon. The main down side to his ability however is that currently he has trouble with concentrating and multitasking. So if he is empowering another, currently he can’t do much else other than defend himself in place.

Defiant Defender is a pair of dual heavy shields sharpened on the outside edge and honed to a sturdy point on the end, the inside edge is jagged and allows the shields to connect together to create a small wall. Close to the point of these shields are dual shot guns with drum magazines that fire heavy slugs.
His fighting style is again very defensive and close ranged, allowing him to get into an enemy’s face or defend other members of the team. With his strength he is able to use these shields very well in melee combat and with his shot guns can engage enemy’s at medium ranges. Effectively he is what some would call a close range tank.

Rook has two things he fears equally, one is that his personality will slip at any time and that he may hurt people he considers his friends. He is well aware that he may have a split personality and he is unsure what will happen if it ever gets loose. Because of this he may distance himself temporarily from others to regain control and will always change the subject whenever it is brought up.
The other is that he fears not being enough, not being strong or fast enough to save someone. This will sometimes lead him to put himself in dangerous situations to protect others where it may have not been needed in the first place. He doesn’t care about being the hero he just sometimes thinks that others’ lives are worth more than his.

Rook really likes to sing or tell jokes anything to lighten the mood. He will go out of his way to compliment others if he thinks they are in a bad mood and has no quarrels with coming off as annoying. He really likes eating bugs especially crickets.
