Viridis, The Jäger Host

Appearance: Standing around 5' 4", Viridis is a very androgynous teen who uses male pronouns with long, light green beautiful hair, almost colorless silver gray eyes, and almost too perfect skin. He's normally dressed in a plain white tunic that reaches to his knees and white pants, obscuring his sex even more by hiding his physique. Once he's gotten use to this new world and his circumstances, Viridis changes into an outfit similar to the second image.

In his Jäger form, Viridis' eyes turn an envious shade of green as similar colored veins protrude from the side of his face. Nails elongate and sharpen while a Jäger's biggest weakness, a pair of thick tree-like horns, portrude from his head.

Name: Viridis [REDACTED]

Age: 16

Race: Opfer (A Human Jäger Host). A Jäger is very similar to cordyceps, which eventually take over the mind and body of the Opfer. The personality of a Jäger can vary, but the Opfer is known for becoming feral when said Jäger assumes control; whether it be to protect their host or for some evil intent. There is no way to remove the Jäger without killing the Opfer, but there are various ways to subdue them when they're feral. It's best to render the Opfer unconscious before cutting off the tree like horns on their head; chopping off their horns while the Opfer is awake to result in extreme brain trauma. These horns always grow back, however, and are often an indicator as to when an Opfer might lose control. The actual essence of a Jäger is currently unknown, but most assume that Jäger are tree spirits that have lost their lives due to forest fire and things like that.

Artifact: An obsidian colored hookshot with the power to make anything it's touching, while it's touching it, weightless.

Power: What will eventually become atmokinesis, Viridis is currently gifted with the ability to change his body temperature although it's normally dependent on his emotions at the moment.

Personality: Viridis, although he never shows it to anyone, is an optimist. He tries hard to see the best in every situation, although his actions might prove otherwise, and rely on his strengths rather than focusing on his weaknesses. He's honest to everyone he meets, often a little too honest as his words could be seen as blunt. And since he's so honest, he usually expects the same from others, getting upset if it's the opposite; the boy is known for being able to see through people and can't be fooled by liars. Viridis tries to think several steps ahead when regarding battle tactics, especially since he's too afraid be on the front lines, and also for his own benefit. He's known for hating sore losers and easily gets annoyed by them for their selfish attitude. When put in a situation where he feels threatened, Viridis will not hold back and isn't afraid to get risky with his actions, despite how usually chill and calm he is. However if he feels the Jäger inside of him trying to come out, Viridis will stop at nothing to ensure it doesn't come out. He always hides his emotions, especially if he's hurt in any way, distancing himself even farther away then he normally does. Contrary to the others before him, Viridis is extremely patient, to the point were he'll stay in one place for days on end if someone told him to wait there. The teen is known for having a sleepy aura about him too. As in, he's always tired, or at least appears to be. He'll sleep whenever and wherever he can, it usually causing problems for the others; Yet another thing that could pose a problem would be the boy's knack for wandering off whenever he sees something interesting.

Dreams: To understand what this Jäger and why this Jäger chose to reside inside of him and to also put the Jäger in peace.

Backstory: Viridis was born into a world without much a purpose in someone's life. He wasn't born out of love, nor desire or need. He was an accident, a mistake, something that just happened to come with what his parents actually wanted. To grow up in a place that, without reason, Viridis struggled to understand the value of life in general, resulting in various different means to see what it felt like to lose said life or even the lives of others. He originally started with complete strangers, but received zero backlash for his actions, so he immediately moved to his mother. Just as he was about to test of the values of life on her, a voice in his head urged him not to and instead guided him to his room, where he was forced to close his eyes and sleep, waking up in the Sprawl soon after.

Freya and K, The Inseparable Duo

Appearance: Freya is a towering woman at probably 6' 6" with faded pitch black hair, wide white holes for eyes, and shadowy skin. (see second image) She has almost no other defining features other than a dress breaking down at the seams and covering the rest of her body, which happens to be gone from the waist down and instead replaced with a cage where K resides (first image). K is a handsome young boy with short shimmery silver hair, ash red eyes, and extremely pale skin. If he were standing, he would probably be 4' 6". Dressed in what was probably a pure white collared shirt and shorts covered in dried blood, vomit, and urine, K has a broken set of wings fused together with cogs and mechanical contraptions on his back and a makeshift halo on his head that connects the artifacts on his ears. Name: Freya and K

Age: Unknown and 10

Artifact: Freya's artifact is the rusty cage her torso and upper body sits upon. Anything that's put inside the cage can never come out or break free unless Freya speaks a specific incantation. K, on the other hand, has a pair of ear muffs with screws sticking out of them, the sharper end pointed to the actual ear. Unable to take off the device, K is able to hear even the quietest of sounds.

Power: Being in the Sprawl for quite a while, Freya has learned to almost fully control various metals. K has the power to produce high frequency sound waves with his voice, most of which could paralyze a grown man for a few seconds if hit directly.

Partner: Freya and K are partners.

Team Power: Freya slowly uses her powers to push the screws in K's artifact towards and into his ear, forcing K to use his powers; that being a bloodcurdling hyper screech in front of them. While doing so, K's wings poke out of Freya's cage as she begins to compress said cage underneath her, giving her K's ability to fly (it's possible that she's also manipulating the mechanical parts of K's wings to move faster and glide in the air despite the heavy cage. If K doesn't comply, Freya pushes the cage in odd manners to guide the direction in which she was wants to fly. This team power can be used for as long as it's needed, or until K can't handle the pain anymore. It is assumed that this isn't their true team power as it's something done by force than with any real team collaboration.

Personality: Freya is a leader at heart. She seeks to be in control of situations, to be on top, to be the best. This doesn't necessarily mean that she is all driven to reach the top or that she wants to have all the leadership roles, but in day-to-day interactions with other people, she has a tendency towards one-upsmanship. Freya is firm and forceful in her approach to problems. She believes in 'tough love', and tries to 'help' others by challenging them to prove themselves, as she herself would. If met by opposition, Freya reacts confrontational to defend herself. She's constantly trying to be 'dominant' in every situation, subconsciously, either by being louder and better than those around her, or more restrained and therefore superior to those who lose their cool. Loves competition... but hates to lose. She can be very condescending to those that she looks down upon. She also takes pleasure in the pain, misfortune, or humiliation of people she isn't on good terms with. This is because it brings her pleasure to feel superior to others. She may even go as far as to blame others for her own mistakes, often to the point of lying to save face. On the other hand, K is a complete husk of his former self. Extremely submissive to Freya and does everything in his power to ensure that she isn't punished. Completely terrified of strangers and refuses to talk unless Freya addresses him, the boy has been broken down to the core.

Marc, The Prodigy

Appearance: Marc is a fairly tall teenager standing at 5' 9" with short dull silver hair that covers one of his golden eyes, and fair skin. He's decked out in black scale like armor with purple highlights that covers his entire body from the neck down. A purple cloak, his artifact, is draped over parts of his armor. A double edged sword is strapped to his back.

Artifact: Marc's artifact is the purple cape that enhances the wearer's senses, physical capabilities, and mental awareness. This is a pro and con as all of his senses are enhanced greatly, but the over stimulus could be dangerous to Marc's mental state.

Estell

Estell

Appearance - She stands at 4'11" and has an athletic build. Her skin is the color of chocolaty caramel and her hair is long and quite thick. She needs to tie it down otherwise she looks like a mop. She has a peculiar quirk where colors in terms of her eyes hair and even her clothes seem to have a luminscent sheen to them and take on a brighter pas-telly color. These colors will actually change based upon the time of day, as if going through a hue slider.

Race - Fey
The Fey are a race of creatures that come in a wide range of shapes and sizes. Some have wings, others appear made of fire. Regardless of looks, they exist on a plane of dreams that they themselves have some control over, forming substance and structure out of chaos. Entire worlds were made of gossamer and civilization was at its peak, even reaching into other planes through the dreams of other races.
Artifact - Her weapon strangely enough is a flashlight, but the light itself within is strange. It feels quite solid when she swings it at something at close range and she can hold down the button to power it up and use it to blast others. So far it is only as strong as a solid punch and doesnt do much against hard things like walls.
Power - She can currently play with things like colors, changing one to another. This will eventually evolve into abilities involving using the powers of light and hard light

Personality - Estell is a lonely girl. She had witnessed her home and family gone in a blink of an eye and she has just fully recovered from her trauma, dedicated herself to preserving the memory of her people. She tries to be brave, to be kind, but mainly she doesn't want to be a victim. She doesn't want to stand idly by like she did two years ago when everything changed. She's polite and well natured, but she has a spark of curiousity, ingenuity, and morality. Perhaps seeing herself in those that are lost and abandoned, she won't turn her back on anyone else. Shes still haunted and she's still scared.
Dreams She wants out of the Sprawl, but she dreams of home... a new home, cause hers is gone.
Backstory - Estell's realm is near impossible to describe using words alone. It was a realm without limits, from the physical to the metaphysical. Absolute chaos given structure, and here she had a family. Mom, dad, older sister and a few pets here and there. In this place without want, one had to make up their own desires and goals. Sometimes Fey made things difficult just so they can feel that sense of accomplishment and following a routine, sometimes mirroring the family, the community, the hopes and dreams of ordinary life.
When possibility is available, paradoxically, there is an possibility where it isn't. Infact, when anything is possible, there is a possibility that everything can be destroyed, falling into nothingness. Estell was curious of the beings that dreamed. She was able to enter one, the dream of a child somewhere in the infinite realms of space and time. They played together, laughed happily when suddenly the dream became a nightmare. A creature made of nothingness ate her home, taking gigantic chomps right out of the land itself, taking with it color, Fey, their futures. Estell tried to return, tried to pull her family into the safe dream with her, but she wasn't strong enough. She was useless in the endeavor, and in fact her presence caused her parents to falter in their own escape attempt. Then the way closed behind her, and she blamed herself.
when the child awoke, Estell woke as well, a physical body in a pressuring stiffling reality not designed for her. Her friend helped her, offering atleast a place to stay, but she was different from other children. She was different in so many ways. Always the outside, the weirdo, the freak. She would go on long walks alone, trying to remember what she lost even as it drifted away from her mind with each passing day.

Then one night, she saw her pet. It looked like a wisp, a cluster of pretty lights that beckoned her with its soft song. She of course chased it, and ended up in the Sprawl.
