The time ripened early than I had expected.

The land is ablaze. Resistance is crushed under the mighty heel of Uther Pendragon, the Warlord of the British Tribes, and King of Logres. Only one treasure remains out of his reach: High Kingship over Britain.

For her, the fairest lady on the fair earth, he wages war with reckless abandon, with the savage joy of slaughter. His battles are led by him at the crown of his chivalry, steeds like thunder, like lightning lances striking. Who bears the arms that give him victory? The Barons, Counts and Dukes of his kingdom. There is the banner of Silchester, here be Duke Eidaris with his Wolftails, there rides Red Lion of Cornwall! There is our Lord Roderick son of Robyn, Count of Salisbury, the ring-giver and chieftain, and by his hand did the Strident Vanguard join the ranks of Knighthood.

A raven whose wings are stained by brother's blood, him whose word gave death to kin will never find peace. Once a princess, now an exile, daughter of cinders and ash. A man seeking joy in forbidden love in an unforgiving land. One who rules over monsters and ominous woods, forgetting the blood coursing through his veins. A hopeless family, not two pennies were given for them, now they soar.

They are sworn men of Roderick, once-warriors of a Prince, and knights of Pendragon and fair Britain.

Will you be their next shield-brother?

I'm running this game off-forum (can I even recruit here to play somewhere else?), but bleeding players like a madman. I have a spot for one player.

To apply, please note the following:

-You don't need previous experience with the system. We will teach you.
-Your character *must* be a knight. The system does not support anything else.
-Your character may be as young as 16 and as old as you wish.
-Your character *must* be sworn to Roderick of Salisbury.
-PM me a basic character concept, motivations, goals, family, that kind of thing. An elaborate backstory is not needed; I would much rather let it be built along the way. Please do point out your Discord.

I should probably explain what the game is about, no?

Pendragon is a dynastic tabletop-roleplaying game where you play a knight of Britain (or somewhere else) during the reigns of Uther and Arthur. As expected, your characters will grow old and die, and thus it becomes important for a player to manage their clan and family. You will be doing classical knightly things such as: engaging in blood-feuds, fending off raiders, serving your lord and fighting in wars. Later in winter you may socialize, go to feasts, court maidens fair or not.

The game progresses. At the the start of the game (now) you'll be equivalent to a Norman Knight, but by the end of it you'll be decked out in gothic plate.

I will provide all books needed to create a character. If necessary, do ask me about them.
