October is the 10th month of the year, but 'octo' comes from the Latin word for 8. August is the 8th month of the year. The average of 8 and 10 is 9, and September is the 9th month of the year. 9+10=19, and 9+8=17, which when put together give us 1917, the year of the Bolshevik Revolution. 1917 was also the year that Woodrow Wilson was reelected as President of the United States with 277 electoral votes. Washington, D.C. is 277 miles away from Akron, Ohio, when traveling in a vertical line. Akron is the 5th largest city in Ohio and Goodyear is the 5th largest employer in Akron and headquartered there as well. Goodyear manufactured blimps for the US Army during World War I, which the United States entered in 1917. Modern blimps are often filled with Helium gas, whose atomic number is 2. 9 (average of 10 and 8) plus 2 is 11. This brings us to 9 and 11, or September 11.
