I'm going to drop the "make a character from someone else's universe" aspect of the RP and make it optional.

That's dandy, as I started thinking it would be really interesting to explore the universe I'm writing. But I should still make a character from another universe for 'getting out of my comfort zone' purposes.

EDIT: On another note, how long has this Praxis whatever been going on for in-universe? And my thing should pretty much be done at this point.

In the OOC (which is complete and I'm just giving it some time before I post it) I mentioned that a cataclysmic event took place a few thousand years ago that disturbed the balance of the universe and the Homie-Above-All created Praxis to help fix these issues. So I'd say Praxis has been around for like a thousand years, long enough to establish themselves.

I'm still working on my idea, but just to double check, how big a scale should a given universe be, on average? I mostly see folks focusing on a world, rather than a larger tapestry. Asking since my current scale, while focused on one world, is part of a larger overall story. A bad version of one of my stories, due to the event you noted causing things to go nutty. If you need a sample of the idea, I can give it, or a hint rather. I tend to just mull over ideas, let them ferment, to use a strange metaphor, until they reach what I want. And since I'm still adjusting to the forum, can't promise my app will be as fancy as those of the others here who have been around longer.
