I'm always on the lookout for World of/Warcraft RPs, but my search always fails me. I've had partners vanish mid-planning, just as the thread had been made, and in the middle of the RP. I've tried joining threads that never made it past the interest check stage and even threads where the IC was never posted. Hell, I've had people get my hopes up with requests for Warcraft 1x1s, only to find out that it is very clearly a smut request. Nothing against them, but I didn't put in hundreds of hours of my life into a game for smut. That being said, if you're also wanting a Warcraft RP, just send me a message once you read my rules.
1) Romance & Smut
From what I've seen, people in RPG's 1x1 section tend to prefer having romance and/or smut in their roleplays. I'm not a fan of either, so I just ask that you please don't come asking about either (or both). That being said, whereas I absolutely do not want any smut requests, I may be willing to budge on potential MxF or FxF romance requests depending on what you have in mind. I would still prefer it to be non-romance, however.
2) Threads & PMs
The only place I will RP is on this forum, preferably in a thread. I am potentially open to PM roleplay, but those two places are the only locations I will RP. Going out of my way to RP on discord, email, google docs, etc. is something I wish to avoid. I do have a discord, however, for potential OOC purposes if the OOC section or a PM isn't enough.
3) Post Length & Rate
If you intend to send a request, please write at least at a casual (preferably high casual) or an advanced level of writing. Sometimes I find short responses hard to reply to, so make sure I have enough to reply to. As for expected post rate, I usually post once a week unless I'm feeling creative or need to kill some time.
4) Characters
Some people like roleplaying canon characters; I do not. Nonetheless, I am willing to use potential canon characters (Jaina, Thrall, Malfurion, etc.) to expand the story solely in a background NPC role if needed. Also, I would prefer if we kept to one main character each, rather than doubling.
5) Extra
If you've read these rules, send me your request as a PM or post here with the name of the Kal'dorei world tree that was recently burned down by the morally gray Horde. This is just to see if people bother to read my rules.
