[IC] The Rise of the Guardian

Ash still had the door open and smiled at the boys. “Hey great timing. We found everything. We were about to go get some food. You in?”

Scarlet nodded and said “we will have to tell the others…see their thoughts”

Altoron and Maltoran walked over to put the supplies away. "Sounds like a good idea." Altoron admits. Carth smiles with glee. "Sweet!"

"We could. How is your back by the way?" Orion asks her.

Ash smiled at them and said “let’s go. Then we can go check on Scarlet and the doc and see what our time frame is”

Scarlet blinked and felt her back. “Actually…fine. I didn’t notice that there isn’t any pain now…”

They were all ready to go. Carth gave a goofy grin as they walked, the group was soon joined by Kanarus who looked alot better after his nap.

Orion smiled. "Glad to hear it. We can take a look to see how it progressed then if you like." He offers.

Ash smiled at the new comer and asked “hey I was hoping I could talk with you more on that element energy thing…”

Scarlet nodded and said “ya that would be great. Then maybe I can help you in here a bit.”

Kanarus smiled with glee as he caught up to walk beside her. "Of course! I would be delighted to assist you!"

Orion nodded before standing up from his chair. "Then let us check that wound then. If you want to head back to the bed you were on, I will get the salve. Go ahead and lay down with you shirt removed again and we shall proceed." He instructs.

Ash said as they walked “I was wondering what you felt when you were helping me…”

Scarlet nodded and moved to lay back on the bed, taking her shirt back off.

Kanarus seemed to think about it, wondering how to explain it knowing that everyone's element is a twinge different from others and never really the same. But he did notice something about it that isn't seem to make sense to him. "Well....how to explain it....everyone's element has a slight difference from each other. But one thing I'm wondering is if your wind affinity is primary or actually secondary. It's hard to understand really. But the other feeling is like a tempest. Almost like a calm before a storm." The younger explains to her.

Orion waits till she is ready before entering. He gets right to work and examines her wound, see how much better it has healed.

Ash nodded as they walked and said “I think I understand…I’ve always felt that my wind was missing something you know? But how can we figure it out?”

Scarlet laid there deep in thought and asked “do you think Ash has a scar like this? Something magic based could be locking her down somehow…”

Kanarus seemed to ponder the idea of how they could do that. He thought about it then had an idea that might work out. "Well. There is one idea we could try. However it would involve everyone and maybe some rejections. We could try the energy conversion, however maybe see if we can prompt a response from that other element to see if it's the right one. If not, it would result in rejection and maybe harmful to either person. I don't know what the rejection might feel like so this is an experiment in itself."

Orion thought about what Scarlet asked. "I don't think so. But then again I haven't done a complete examination." He states. He notices the wound had healed but looked like a light scar. "You're wound is more like a scar. It has healed nicely." Orion explains to him.

Ash frowned at this and said “is there a way to make sure only I’m the one who gets hurt?”

Scarlet smiled and said “I always healed fast when my body calmed down. Thanks to my mothers bloodline… she sat up and looked at him, her figure showing as she picked up her shirt.

Kanarus shook his head. "Sadly there is not. But it is usual small and not too big to worry about."

Orion nodded, though surprised that there were still those of the bloodline with fast regeneration. He noticed her move to grab her shirt and could see her figure. With that he looked away and went to put the salve away. "I see. That is certainly a rare ability indeed." He remarks.

Ash frowned with worry but said “alright…we can try it…I take it we need one of each of the other elements? Carth is fire, you are air like me, what about the others?”

Scarlet smiled at his blush and slipped her shirt on. “Yes, my mother was a sage…linked to a fae line…I heal the best in nature so I take it the salve being all natural is what did it”

Kanarus nodded. "Altoron is shadows while my brother has water." He informs her. "The only ones we would need left is earth, lighting, and light." He continues.

"It is. Would possibly have to do with my earthen element as well." He informs her. "I used some of that energy to help with the healing process. I do so with the more serious of injuries." He admits.

Ash sighed and said “that’s a lot to find…though I don’t know if Scarlet has a element or not…”

Scarlet smiled and said “what a turn of events. I’m a light elemental. I don’t use it much…takes a lot out of me”

Carth shrugs. Though wondered himself. Kanarus pondered on that thought. "There is a possibility. Though not uncommon for someone to not have one either. We shall see when we see her."

Orion looks back at her, shocked. "Oh my. Quite the rarity you are. It would be the first light element I have seen." he admits in awe.

Ash nodded softly as they made it to the food stalls and she paused to let the men find what they wanted, her mind racing and not focused on what was in front of her.

Scarlet said “I don’t tell people…it’s rare and makes it hard to do my job…”

Carth had felt his mouth water again as got to the food stalls. He paused when he looked to Ash to see what she wanted but saw how she looked distressed. He walked toward her and placed a hand on her shoulder. "Ash? Ash?"

Orion looked a little confused. "Your job?" He asks, wondering what she was talking about.

Ash blinked and looked up at him “oh hey sorry…just trying to work a problem. What’s up?”

Scarlet looked at him and said “oh I’m a bounty hunter”

Carth smiles at her reply. "I see. Is it about the whole little draw back to figure out what primary element you have?" He asks Ash. He wasn't for sure but if it was a small headache, everyone could handle it.

Orion tilted his head. "Really? That is surely quite the occupation to take up. Quite a lethal combination."
