Okay! I'm doing a module for my online class right now and then I have another in-person class to go to in two hours, so I might not be able to reply until 3, Arizona time (we don't follow daylight savings, so I don't know what timezone I'm in right now xD)

Cas will have a lot to do when they get back to the palace too, since his father can't legally make any decisions until his medication wears off. At the moment, he's the one who has to review all the reports that come in and work with the security team to figure out how the rebels breached the capital.

Everything he discusses with the council and security is confidential, so he couldn't take her with him even if he wanted to. Although he already wishes she wasn't involved.

Ohhhhhh, what about if he is one of the rebels captured? Or is that a bad idea?

Nah I have a bit of an upset stomach so I might aswell make some use of it! Plus it's so exciting I just can't leave it.

It could actually work if we say the captured rebels escape! Maybe they could get the news during the meeting Cas is attending (say the rebel hacker manages to unlock their cell before the interrogation room is fully set up to be used). After that, the meeting would end, since they wouldn't have anything left to discuss. When Cas and Iris meet back up, they'd have time to talk about the incident at the park (maybe actually kiss this time) and then Ethan finds Iris overnight somehow?

Of course, it doesn't have to be that fast paced, but I can't think of much we could do to fill in the gaps in between those major points.

Oh I like that!! That could work really well! That would amp up the action quite a bit too! I don't think Ethan would just stand there after the kiss, he would be furious and probably approach them.

Cool! And I was thinking he would find her after Cas and Iris go their separate ways for the night, since Atlas set her curfew at 10. If he approached them right away, Cas would just call security and have him arrested again ^^; His com device also acts as a panic button if he's in danger lol

Also, if Ethan and Iris are alone, it would give them time to talk and come up with a plan to kidnap Cas (since Iris wouldn't be out to assassinate him anymore), which would lead to the scene change to the poor districts of Aspiria.

Oooo okay! Oh man the drama of that all! Unless maybe Ethan thinks it's part of her plan to get close to kill him so doesn't approach at first instead snatches her when they go separate ways!

Would Cas ever be able to forgive her though? With the whole kidnapping him and everything. I can't see his father doing the same haha

Sounds good to me! And not right away, but he'll come around after he sees how terrible life is outside the capital and realizes the rebellion actually has a valid cause, unlike what he's been told by his father. Atlas definitely won't see it the same way though xD

I can't wait omg. When they kidnap him I had an idea that maybe he is kept at her home this time? Gets to see her alcoholic father who maybe tries to interrogate him? I kind of want to being him in! I've been looking at faceclaims him!

This is going to be so exciting with Cas on the other side of the high life!!

Thinking about it, the rebels would have more likely escaped after one round of interrogations. Three hours is a long time, so Ethan might show up a little banged up when he finds Iris!

I like that idea ^^ It'll be interesting to give Iris's father more of a role.

Yes!! I could see him being kept in their home, her father is not the same man he was since everything. Might be a bit of a shock for Cas! Did you want him escaping himself? Or maybe Iris helping him escape because her father was going too far?

I'm thinking it would be better if Iris ends up helping him, otherwise we might hit a wall when it comes to getting them back together again (communication wise). I'm trying to think of things that could keep them together longer too, because if Cas doesn't have enough time to really get a feel for what's going on outside the capital, he'd just go back to life before he and Iris met. What if during her father's "interrogations" one of the things he does that's too far is causing some kind of injury that would make it difficult for Cas to get anywhere fast? Like a broken leg or something along that line. So, when they do escape, she'd have to help him get back to the capital without getting caught by the rebels who don't want him to get away? It could be a good way for them to bond, because they'd be hiding out in the streets for a few days on their way there.

I also had an idea that whilst there she would probably make him some food so he could eat. Maybe because she shows too much kindness towards him her fathers hits her too?

Ohh I like the idea of them having to hide in the streets and such whilst sneaking him back into the capital! Ohhh what if as well on the road Cas gets a little sick? Maybe just like a fever or cold? Iris looks after him? Tries to get medicine/food etc? I can see Caspains eyes being opened up a bit more whilst they are hiding out on the streets etc.

Maybe when they finally get back into the capital all the soldiers swarm them?

I like all of that ^^ We've got so many ideas for this story, it's exciting!

I'll get started on a post, but I've got class in an hour, so I may not get done before I leave depending on how well I can focus lol
