Well, afaik, Legend of Zelda is about solving puzzles and upgrading your Link so that he may progress the dungeons further.

Then there are boss fights which is always puzzle-heavy in solving their attack patterns.

Do we have those tropes or are we expecting character interactions like in fantasy fiction books?

Yeah. There's still limitations and being realistic and fair is appreciated. It's not about "winning" it's about crafting a good story with meaningful character intetactions and interesting scenes- all while collaborating with other players.

And there are also magic items serving as keys. Our Link gets more and more powerful and crafty as we close to the endgame.

We're not exactly trying to make or play a Zelda game. Rather, we're having a story take place in that world- as if it were a fantasy setting rather than a video game.

@WolfredWolf Bruh I can say my piece, thanks though.

@VeyrinDay To simplify things I'll just say that certain elements of this rp will have at times rpg elements such as magic items, skills and learned abilities over time depending on what you do.

well, the tropes I mentioned can serve as the narrative device, e.g. the Light characters are on a mission to search for powerful magical items and the GM can add a certain ability in the CS for any who possess the item.

Or... we can have a Goron opening a weapon shop, managing it as a company and monopolizing the whole blacksmith business throughout Hyrule

But only rarely. And now I'll say we got enough interest.
