Trish paused and looked up at him as they headed outside. “Sorry, it’s hard to stay calm…I finally feel I can be myself again…not hide under a fake smile anymore…”

The shadows moved the wrappings so they wouldn’t stick to the new skin starting to form. Serena sighed a little, the pain finally fading slowly.

John didn’t move as he held her hand. “I messed up in the past with things like this…I don’t want to mess up and hurt anyone else…I have to get on top of this before anyone else gets hurt…” he kept his eyes closed, looking like a stressed dog in a cage.

Chas smiled at her, "its okay, I understand" he told her, holding his hand out to her to take his hand. "you wanna take the cab or walk into town?" he asked her as he exited the house with her.

Kay listened to him open up and she truly felt sorry for him. Yet she also understood it because she felt like it was her fault that her friend Ethan got possessed and no doubt hurt. She didn't however want him to feel this stressed and wished there was a way to calm him. As she kept wishing she could help, a wave of calm went from her to John via the bond on their wrists. "I get it John, I really do.." she told him softly, still sending the wave of calm onto him. She then lifted his hand as it was still in hers, and kissed the back of his hand.

"I will be here to shoulder some of this stress you're feeling if it will help you" she told him, using her hand that was on his shoulder to turn his head to face her, where she kissed him. Letting it linger for a moment, she then pulled away and looked him in the eyes, "we got this...together"

Trish looked around then asked “can we walk? Then we can see wants going on in town?”

John froze as he felt the calm wash over him. He had never felt anything like it. It was like a warm blanket over his shoulders. A couple tears ran down his face without him even realizing it. He looked at at her and asked “how…”

Then she kissed him and the feeling only doubled. He moved his hand to her cheek when she pulled away and smiled weakly. “Together…”

"sure thing" Chas smiled back at her and began the walk into town, knowing it wasn't far and on foot it would only take about ten or fifteen minutes.

Kay didn't fully understand how she was managing to transfer her calm onto him but she was glad she was. Their bond was telling her he was feeling it, as well as the tear that escaped his eyes. She smiled at him back and leaned into his hand as he held her cheek. "I don't know how... I just, did it." she told him, leaning in o ce more and kissing him again.

Trish looked around as they walked, the young girl moving to hold Chas’s hand as they hit the street. She was quiet for a time then said “I think josh has the gift too…but different then mine”

John kissed her back, pulling her to him sightly as he moved his hand into her hair. He hadn’t felt like this in years, since before the first demon showed up and took the girl. He didn’t want it to end.

Chas kept ahold of her hand when she took it, wanting to do right by Josh and keep her safe. His dad side coming into play with his thought process. "it's possible. I don't know nearly as much as John does, but I know some abilities can be passed down families. It's just about whether he wants to tap into those powers. Have you seen any clues that he might have the gift?" he replied to her.

Kay let him pull her to him closer, wrapping her arms round him. The feel of his hands in her hair making her feel so wanted, needed. She still found it mind blowing that she could ever feel this strongly towards another person that wasn't family, and a clear as it was that John needed her, she needed him. Her kiss gradually going from soft and sweet to more passionate as she effortlessly moved to place her legs either side of his own, sitting on his lap.

Trish thought for a few minutes then said “the week after my parents were gone…he got a feeling we needed to move. Out of the blue. He house was paid for but he still wanted to move. A few days later after we left with our things, the house caught on fire. He has a feeling for when things happen…and how to avoid them”

John moved his hands to her waist and moved her closer to him, then up her back and as he kept kissing her. He wasn’t thinking about if this was a good idea or not. Only that they both wanted this right now.

Chas listened to what Trish was telling him, finding it interesting and saddening that they lost their initial home to a fire. "I see" he replied, deciding to make a mental note of that and talk with Josh and possibly even John about it much later on. "definitely seems to be something to be aware of." he told her as they walked through the town and reached the ice cream shop.

Kay didn't care if it would be a good or bad idea, she didn't care that Serena and and Josh were upstairs, she was solely focused on John and craving his attention and touch. As his hands moved up her back, she tangled her fingers into his hair as she kept kissing him passionately. She smiled into the kiss as she poured all of her need for him into it.

Trish nodded and kept walking as she looked around the street. Then she paused and her eyes got a glazed look as she stopped walking and seemed to zone out for a few minutes.

John kept kissed her as he moved her to his chest, feeling them melting together. He was going on the high of the moment.

Chas felt Trish stop moving in his grip and stood still in front of her, worried about her. "Trish? Sweetheart, you alright?" he asked her, squatting down to her eye level. He kept trying to see what was wrong with her in her eyes, but saw how zoned out she seemed to be.

Like John, Kay was fully riding the high of being this close with John, she let her actions lead her the entire time. Her hands moved down his the back of his head and over his shoulders, undoing his tie and pulling it off of him, throwing it onto the floor without even needing to see what she was doing. She let her hands wander to his shirt to undo it, she fully intended on going with the flow and she knew she wouldn't regret it, she was falling in love with the guy and she wanted this more than anything with him.

She was silent for a few minutes then she blinked, swaying a little then fell forward and fell into his arms. She was breathing hard as she tried to move again. “Chas…I saw…Serena…Kay…monster…”

John followed her lead and pulled her shirt off over her head, moving his hands to help get his shirt off. He kept kissing any part of her skin he could find.

Chas sighed with relief when he saw her blink and seem to come out of whatever vision she was experienciing. He quickly and protectively wrapped his arms round her and hugged her. "as in...a monster coming for them?" he asked.

When John went for her shirt, she pulled away from kissing him just long enough to lift her arms up and get out of it, before removing his shirt and putting it onto the floor with their rapidly growing pile of clothing. His touch and kisses just spurring her on the whole time, letting him kiss whatever part of her he wanted to. In this moment she was completely and utterly his. Her hands trailing to his belt to unbuckle, as she bit her bottom lip slightly.

Trish shook her head and said “I’m not sure…I’ve never had it happen like this…it’s always dreams…never when I’m awake…” she was shaking, clearly scared a little. “I think I saw a big tower behind the monster…like a needle…”

John moved to help with the belt, working on her jeans as well. He moved and fixed their spots so she could get into the best and most comfortable spots. He sighed as she got his pants undone then he looked at her. “You sure about this?”

Chas held her protectively and rubbed her back to try and calm her down a bit. He figured it always worked on Geraldine, so why not on Trish too? He listened to what she said and knew exactly what she was seeing. "the Seattle space needle" he said in realisation. Pulling away just enough to look at her, he gave a comforting smile. "it'll be okay. Come on, let's get you inside for that ice cream I promised you and then we can bring some back for the others" he smiled.

As John moved them both, she looked up at him, now she was underneath him on the couch. She nodded up at him with a smile, "yeah, I am." she told him, lifting a hand up to stroke his cheek. "more sure than anything else" she added.

Trish nodded and wiped her eyes, skillet shaking just a little. She took his hand and headed into the shop, trying to put on a brave face so no one thought she was hurt. She didn’t want Chas to get into trouble. It had happened with Josh and she was almost taken from him.

John nodded and finished undressing both of them then he moved back and got into position. It took only a moment for him to slip in and start moving back and forth, kissing her as he did.

Chas already had it in his head that if anyone said anything, he'd just say someone at school upset her or something so he's trying to cheer her up. "if anyone asks, I'm your uncle" he whispered to her, not that he thought anyone would ask. He walked inside the ice cream parlour, lifting her up onto the one of the stools in front of the 'bar' so she could see all the ice cream flavours. "choose what you want" he told her with a smile, as he looked for himself.

Kay kissed him back as they slept together, moans escaping her as she kissed him, all whilst making sure not to wake Serena or alert Josh upstairs. But she was so wrapped up in her craving of John, it felt like they were in their own bubble, a bubble she didn't want to leave. Everything just felt so perfect to her in this heated moment with him, this was where she belonged......

--------A WHILE LATER--------

Kay, out of breath but content, laid beside John, the blanket now over them both. Smiling she laid her head on his shoulder, an arm over his chest.

Trish looked at the choices and her eyes went wide. “It’s kinda a movie…can I get orange and chocolate? It’s my favorite. And Josh like mint and chocolate. But only dark chocolate” she smiled at Chas and added “what should we get the others?”

John was breathing hard, his arm around her as they laid there. Then he chuckled and said “it’s a good thing we are in the back…I’d hate to scar little Trish walking in…I’ve scarred Chas enough” he kissed her forehead and closed his eyes a moment

Chas chuckled at Trish's little bit of excitement at seeing all the flavours. He just knew she would like this place as whenever he took Geraldine here, she loved it too. "you can get whatever flavour you want Trish, and yeah we can get Josh that flavour. As for the others? Hmm, well John is boring with his flavours" he smirked, "what do you think Serena would like?" he asked her. "I'm personally going for the caramel and vanilla one" he commented, as he glanced at all the flavours. "Kay comes across as a strawberry or mint kind of girl to me" he mused.

Kay chuckled at John's words and had to agree. "yeah, and I can imagine" she smiled, nuzzling into him more as he kissed her forehead. "I have to admit, I thought our first time together would be in one of our rooms but I'm not complaining. I've wanted to be with you for a little while." she admitted to him.

Trish thought then pointed to one and said “Serena seems to me like a cookie fan…maybe cookies and cream? Or the cookie dough…both are good…Kay I think likes bright flavors, maybe the strawberry with mint on top?” She smiled at him, having a blast finding ice cream for the others.

John chuckled and said “there’s no room in yours…and my room has too much of a mess right now. I haven’t picked it up in a while” he sighed and looked around. “It’s odd we haven’t heard anyone upstairs…”

Chas smiled as Trish started choosing for the others, glad to see she was cheering up once more. "okay, let's get Serena cookie dough and Kay a mixture of both strawberry and mint" he agreed, before waving the staff member over and ordering everything. He just hoped it would all survive the walk back. He let the staff do each of the ice cream orders they had, putting them into tubs and putting kids on the ones for the others and leaving lids off of Trish's and Chas'. He told him how much it all was and Chas paid for it on his card before taking the bag of tubs, and giving Trish her little tub and then took his own. "ready to hedlad back?" he asked her.

Kay chuckled at his reasoning, thinking it was so typical of a bloke to have a messy room. At least with hers being small, she could still get to the bed without any problems. At the mention of the others, her eyes glanced upward as if it would let her see upstairs even though it did nothing of the sort. "I'm sure they're fine. Serena has probably fallen asleep and Josh seems quite smitten with her. I think I heard the other two leave for some reason earlier" she said back to him.
