Although magic is not an unknown force in this universe it is the world's best kept secret. For the most part, magic users keep their abilities hidden- some in fear of persecution, others in a sense of duty. However, there are always the few rebels to give it away- some for power and glory, some for vengeance, some from some mistake and that's where the clean up crew come in. The clean up crew follow these crimes, erase the memories of normies and, if the crime is intentional, bad enough or the caster shows no willingness to change the clean up crew take them out of action- forever
