Naturally, I am supportive of your decision, Rafale. I have no right to tell you whether you should do it or not, since I don't know you well, much less your life. I, like the others, would like for you to stay and write, but no worries. It can be very stressful and difficult to RP sometimes, and I respect that. I was looking forward to RPing with your character, but things happen. Also, I don't see any of the comments an attack on anybody, just less aggressive convincing and more aggressive convincing. It's all meant to be positive.

Yeah, no problem. Now that I read it it does sound a little aggressive, but no helping it since I was sorta talking from my own experience.

Can happen to anyone. Happened to me a plenty of times, actually. Getting stuck on details. But when it does happen it's good to see what's going on and snap out of it.

It wasn't even my intention to convince anyone to stay against their will, I was just giving a piece of out-of-rolepaly advice.

Had a good sleep, a good cup of coffee, went for a jog and read a book for a bit and now I'm feeling significantly more confident in trying to do something. If I'm still welcome (silly overly melodramatic Rafale, it's only been one day!), I'll try once again to write something.

As a matter of fact, I do consider myself a perfectionist and both of my younger siblings are autistic. Though I've been tested time and time again if I was autistic or not, I've always been told I'm the normal one, but I'm pretty sure I have at least some of their traits. It's quite a sensitive subject for me, really. Let's not go too far into it, shall we?

It took me two weeks just to get in. First time, I messed up on the lottery but the second time I was able to get in. I barely understand the game, but it's fun to try to play. I would love an English version though.

Technically,in UTC +9:00 (Japan time), it is 5 AM on the 31st. Assuming you are CST, it is likely you can do the lottery today. So if you are available within the next 19 hours, you are certain to make the lottery. Although they haven't released a specific time, I'd imagine they'd do it within the next 10 hours.

Kantai Collection....outside of moe animu ship girl pictures...what's even the appeal?

It's actually a fairly engrossing and deep game. It has little of the elements that drag down western F2P games (pay2win games anyone?) too, so that's a definite plus. Finally, it has a huge amount of content for a free to play game and is being updated at a constant rate. Recently, there was an Arpeggio of Blue Steel event from December 24th 2013 to January 6th 2014 that brought characters from that anime in and had various rewards (furniture for Admiral's office themed on the show) and you could even use ships from the show in other parts of the game while the event lasted.

In short, I personally think it's worth the trouble to get in.

Actually, I don't know the gameplay well at all. It looks like a well-developed game, so I am making an account to test it and decide whether to stick with it.

But isn't the gameplay...literally all RNG? Like, I've seen some vids of it, and the player literally does nothing other than watch his girls fight and such....

Pretty much. But, when you think about it, most games are RNG to begin with. The real deep part is what is outside the combat (choosing ships for the fleet, repairs, upgrades, modernization).
