[IC] Soul Eater: Next Generation

[Kitty]

May got up and looked over at her partner, she saw that he wasn't wearing a top and was muscular but she looked away keeping her cool. She went over to her jacket and picked it up. "How about some burgers, fries, and shakes at Death Cafe?" She asked. "I'll pay." May added looking over to her partner for his response.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Sounds great. But you know I do have money." He said calmly as he picked up the shirt and threw it over his shoulder opting to carry it rather than wear it. "We should hurry. I'm starving." He said with a smile as he walked passed her.

[Kitty]

" well, you paid when I forgot money so I owe you." May then caught up to him and walked next to him. When they arrived she went and sat at a booth. May looked at girls who were checking out Red Star and rolled her eyes. "Red Star you should probably put your shirt back on, or else you may blind the other costumers with your ugliness." She said joking with him.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Really? But... It's wet... and wreaks of my sweat." Red Star said as he held it up. "And if anything I think your face has that covered." He joked poking her playfully as he threw the shirt into the booth. He wouldn't be wearing it. Besides. It was hot in the there. He took a seat across from her and smiled. "I guess it's fine. Just remember I'm a big eater."

[Kitty]

May glared at him and stuck her tongue out, he was one of the few people she felt comfortable to let loose around although her secret was still not something she could tell him about. "And I'm not?" May joked as she ordered her food and then took off her jacket and let down her hair, the loose white curls falling down her back.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Hey you started it." Red Star said with a chuckle at her reaction to his insult. "Anyway... Just order me the usual." He said relaxing. Any girl who was checking him out wasn't noticed by him. When it came to just about everything the only girl he really hung out with was May. Mostly cause there weren't many who could keep up with him or her. So she was his ideal partner.

[Kitty]

May smiled and ordered him his usual. "So, I have always been curious. What exactly do souls taste like?" She asked looking at her partner. She remembered the day they decided to be partners. It was when they were still little kids and had found out about whether they were a meister or weapon. They had been close back then since they were only a few months apart in age and one day they just decided that they will be partners and they pinky promised. Both had been offered many different opportunities but they stayed true to their promise and when the day came to announce your partner and receive your first mission. They found eachother and made it official.

[Demon Shinobi]

Red Star leaned back and thought for a moment. "Hmmm... We'll... If I have to explain it, I would say that souls kind of taste different depending on where there from. In my own personal opinion, they're pretty freakin sweet. The eviler the kishin egg the sweeter the taste. Some can be bitter... But really they taste pretty good if you have the stomach for them." Red Star felt they were probably different for everyone who ate them. It was the kind of question that when asked 100 times, 100 different answers would be given.

"Ohhh." May said nodding with understanding. "Then I'll find you some evil kishin eggs more often" May said giving her partner a quick wink to mess with him. The food soon arrived and May dug in, she finished it pretty quickly and then waited for her partner while she sipped on a chocolate shake.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Haha you better. I'm counting on you May." Red Star said with a calm smile. Soon he finished his food. "So we gonna go home now?" He asked not sure if there was anything else to really do. They'd fought, played, and eaten. What else? Just sleep right? He chuckled. They really didn't do much huh?

[Kitty]

"Guess so. It's useful that our houses are near eachother cause I'm guessing my dad and your dad are very drunk and so is kid since he probably drank 8 drinks exactly" May said laughing. "Speaking of which, we are the only set of partners to not live seperately from their parents so maybe we should both get a dorm or apartment of some sort together if you want." May added as she stood up leaving money on the table and heading towards the door to walk to their houses.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Haha yeah. And you're mom and my mom probably stayed sober to watch our dads." Red Star responded with a laugh. "But can Shinigami even get drunk?" He asked calmly thinking for a moment. "Oh well." He shrugged it off listening to her talk about living together. "Alright. Let's do it." He said with a smirk. "If you wanna check it out I've got a place in mind already. Nice, but still well within our respective budgets. And the owner has a sweet spot for DWMA students." He said calmly.

[Kitty]

"Well we will have to do that tomorrow after school then." May said as they began walking through the dark streets. Looking up at the moon it seemed to be getting close to midnight. "We should hurry, We don't want to worry the parents." May said smiling before taking off running. Once they reached the neighborhood she saw her house and turned to Ref Star. "Well goodnight." She said lookin at him, "this night was definitely a cool one." She added her smile turning into a shark tooth smirk.

[Demon Shinobi]

"Yeah. It definitely was." Red Star agreed. "See ya tomorrow partner." He then said holding his fist up for her to bump. "We'll find a place worthy of the future best meister at the DWMA."

[Kitty]

May grinned even more, "and worthy of who will be the new youngest death scythe." She said before heading inside her house. She was greeted by darkness then when she walked by the kitchen she saw her mother sitting at the table reading. "Hi mama." May greeted. "Oh hi May, you were out late again. You know you aren't suppose to be out late that much right? Stein spe-" may cut off her mother,"specifically to not be out too late at night alone so as not to set off any madness. Yeah I know but I was with Red Star so my mind was distracted. Speaking of which I think we are finally getting an apartment together like all the other Meister weapon pairs." "Oh that's nice but we need to break it to your father slowly and cooly. He's not used to your brother being in an apartment with his partner and you being his 'little girl' which is uncool especially for him." Maka and May both laughed. "Well goodnight mama." May said walking towards her room. "Goodnight May." Maka said. May soon reached her room and changed into pjs and got into bed, she fell asleep reading one of her secret romance stories.

red Star tried to enter as quietly as possible, but was thwarted by the sound of his mother's voice. "Where were you?! I was so worried!" Tsubaki spoke rather loudly in a worried tone of voice as she embraced her son. "He was probably out with May showing her how big of a guy he is." Black Star barked with a roar of a laugh. He was obviously drunk. "W-what? No!" Red Star tried to argue but was pulled over by his father who man handled the tough brat like nothing. "Don't try to fool me. Of course you were. Out at all hours of the night." The grown man laughed more trying to remove his son's clothing. "Dad... Woah! Sto..." Red Star tried to fight back. He wanted to get away. His father was so stupid when he was drunk. Well... He was stupid when he wasn't drunk too. "Hey we're father and son. There isn't any shame between us." The muscular blue haired man laughed. Soon thought Red Star would break free just as his mother grabbed her husband. "Come on sweetie. Haru must have had a long night. Let's let him get some rest and do the same." She said opting not to let this madness go on any further. And with that Red Star smiled at his mom and proceeded to his room with utmost speed. "Night!" He called out. His parents returned with a "Sweet dreams" Despite the foolishness and everything they both cared deeply. It was kind of sweet. Until Haru would be woken up with a morning sparring session. He might miss that though when he moved out... CRAP! "Forgot to tell them..." He muttered before drifting off into dream land.

[Kitty]

May got ready for school having been awake since 3am due to nightmares and seeing as it was now 6:30 and school started at 8;00 so she needed to get going especially if she wanted to use her dad's motorcycle today. May sighed looking at her complexion in the mirror. Her hair was in a bun and there were dark circles under her eyes, making it obvious that she had little to no sleep. "Mama!" She called as she stood silently in the doorway to the bathroom. Maka came down the hallway and to her daughter, "Yes May". "Can I borrow your foundation, that's the only makeup that I'm out of. Please mama?" May basically begged. Her mama smiled and gave her the foundation in which May then applied to her face along with her normal makeup that included some blush, some mascara, and a light lip-gloss. Just something to enhance her natural beauty, as her mom called it, or the curse of attractiveness that would make boys swarm over my daughter, as Soul would say. May quickly got dressed into her normal outfit and put her white curls into her normal ponytail with a read ribbon. She ran out the door and grabbed the keys to her dad's motorcycle. "Borrowing the motorcycle like you said I could." She called before shutting the door. She hopped on the bike after plugging in her earphones to the song Toxic - By Brittney Spears. With that she put on her helmet and patiently waited for Red Star to come outside his house so they could go together like always. While waiting May sang the song outloud forgetting where she was.

[Demon Shinobi]

"You can stop now or later." Red Star said poking May on the shoulder. He'd been ready. In fact he'd been woken up at around 4:30 by his father. The man sobered up fairly quickly and pretty much dive bombed his son after he got a few hours of rest. From there a rigid exercise and spar session began. Still despite all of that Red Star looked relatively normal. "Let's hurry before mom loses her hold on dad and we end up going through the same thing we went through last month." He said with a sigh. Black Star didn't know when to quit sometimes. "Oh you look good today, by the way. Or maybe I should say as usual." He said with a slight laugh.

[Kitty]

May blushed slightly when she found out she had been singing outloud. "Not cool. Don't sneak up on people, it is really uncool." she said after removing on of her earphones. She looked over to Red Star's house. "Shit, get on. Your dad has been released. I can sense his soul moving quickly our way." May said. Once he was even slightly on the motorcycle, she took off. She sped up as Black Star ran out the house towards them. But luckily they had gotten away. Once she knew they were safe she slowed down a bit and began the trip to the DWMA. Once at the academy, she parked the motorcycle and jumped off taking her helmet off and fixing her white hair. May smirked her shark tooth grin and looked at Red Star. "Are you coming or not? Oh and thanks by the way" She asked and then replied to his comment back at the houses.

[Demon Shinobi]

"I'm trained in the way of an assassin. Sneaking is kind of necessary.." Red Star laughed before abruptly being caused to take off when he trying to get on the bike. When the ride ended he felt kind of sick. "S-so reckless..." He said. It wasn't a problem if he was ready, but he totally wasn't at the time. He followed after his meister a bit slower than usual. "Just... gimme a minute." He said gathering himself.
