Kissimi

Kissimi batted the mic away. She'd lived on Lothal, without Republic help, for three years. She wouldn't need backup. She turned and left briskly without another word, the brown wolf following. If she timed it all out correctly, she'd be able to return by nightfall. It might not be possible. He might have changed his schedule since the last incident. That was too close the first time, and the rumors running about help nothing, She thought, half wandering through the streets on the familiar path.

Chase and Pira Jackson

Chase watched Kissimi leave, still with that same expression. From the doorway, Pira coughed quietly, and the boy looked over at her, all emotion leaving his face as he realized she'd been watching him. She can't know. I can't tell her. I have to hide it. But I don't wanna, He thought, conflicted. He had the option of telling Pira who Kissimi was and hoping she didn't say anything, but knowing her she'd say something.

Bane sighed and said “stubborn…but she will do for now.” He moved back to megara and said “so Chase right? Want to feel me in on what’s going on here? Why would the council send two younglings out here alone?” He was checking megaras pulse and frowning a bit.

Chase shrugged. "My sister wasn't supposed to come. I was supposed to meet her and Master Kissimi to discuss my training. But she had to come," He responded.

Bane turned and said “they have you megaras and Kissimi’s names exactly? Dang it megara…this was why you had to stay on planet. But why did your sister have to come?”

"It's a long story for another time," This time it was Pira who spoke from the doorway.

"Oh, Pira," Chase sounded slightly surprised that she had inserted herself in the conversation.

Bane looked back at her and said “true enough. Well what can you both tell me of your master Jedi here? What does the force tell you?”

Chase just shrugged whereas Pira remained silent but studied Megara with a strange curiosity. The child suspected she wouldn't be getting any training from the Jedi Knight, seeing as she was so young, but perhaps Master Kissimi would have a different line of thought and train Pira. I can only hope. Chase will probably end up training under Master Shade, so I'll probably get Kissimi if she wants to train somebody so young, Pira thought, glancing at her brother with a twinge of jealousy.

Bane saw the looks and said “you two need to answer the question. I’m trying to figure out who will work best with Megara. We have worked together for years…what can you both tell me about the Jedi who lays before you”

Eventually, Pira finally spoke, voicing the very words she had been trying to not share but knowing they were true. "She'll take Chase on, not me. I'm too young," her calm tone was only a mask for the jealousy and venom in her words. She loved her brother, but she was still jealous.

Bane sighed and said “megara follows her own path and fate. She became one of the youngest masters because of that. Knowing her…don’t expect her to take the known path. Now can you two please tell me if my friend is alright?”

Chase and Pira Jackson

Chase had remained silent, just listening to the conversation. The Force wasn't telling him much of anything, so he couldn't really partake. He was stronger than Pira, but he felt like his sister was being favored right now and decided to let her have the moment to herself. Pira tilted her head but soon nodded. She'll live. But she won't take me. Unfortunately, Chase might be too much for her to handle. He's been good now, but knowing him he'll do what he always does. She thought.

"She'll live," She told Bane before turning and quickly walking out before her thoughts could take over.

Kissimi

Kissimi and the wolves had reached a small building at the edge of Capital City. The building was made of gray cement, like many, and aged beyond its years. She knocked on the door, her wolves seemingly vanishing and bracelet appearing on her wrist. She was met with silence, but she didn't dare call out. This was the bad part of town, and a place where calling out meant getting into a fight. C'mon. C'mon. I need you to be here. I might have issues with Shade, but I need her help. So I need yours, She thought, her thoughts a bit of a prayer to the Force that her contact was inside the building.

Bane groaned and said “this is a fine mess you two have brought me. What’s with you two? I can smell the negativity off of her” suddenly megara tensed up and started shaking and Bne cursed “crap!”

Chase and Pira Jackson

As Pira moved down the steps and to curl up under the ship, Chase sighed. Not her normal behavior. That's worrying. What's wrong with her? Alright-that's not normal, He looked to Bane for guidance or orders for what to do. He had no idea what was going on, being the young boy he was, and it scared him.

Kissimi

Kissimi waited only another minute before stepping back from the door. No luck. She thought but paused and didn't turn away. Somebody was coming up the street. She ducked into the eves of the building, trying to cover herself in the shadow. But they had already seen her. Droids.

Bane moved and took her vitals and said “we need help now. Those shocks did more damage then…” he paused and then cursed softly “please tell me you or your sister know how to use the force to reach someone mentally?”

Chase Jackson

Chase shook his head. "No. Sorry. But Master Kissimi did give me this," He took a small radio transmitter from his pocket, "but she said to only use it in an emergency. Does this count?" The doubt in the boy's voice was clear; he wasn't sure what to think right now, and it showed.

Kissimi

Kissimi moved as quickly as she could, trying to avoid getting shouted at by the droids. She raised her empty hands to her sides, palms facing the droids. She warily moved towards them before sending them flying against a wall and crushing their heads. She turned and ran, weaving through the streets until she reached the more populated main streets. It wasn't too busy, since it was nearly evening already, but it would have to do. She pulled her hood over her head, stuffing her hands in her pockets. She had to get back to the ship, but she was almost an hour's walk out, much farther than she'd intended to go.

Bane cursed and said “she can’t help from where she’s at…” he moved to Megara and pulled her up into his arms and said “hang on partner…” he started to focus and they both started to glow softly. “Attach a monitor for me. I’m trying to use my energy to get her stable…only ahot we have right now”

Chase Jackson

Chase rushed to obey, doing his best to be helpful even though he was worried about his sister. It had been a while since he'd seen or felt Pira and he was starting to get worried. He didn't want to get Bane more agitated, so he didn't share his worries about Pira with him.

"We really should contact Master Kissimi. She might be able to at least help somehow," He sounded slightly panicked, unlike himself.

Kissimi

Kissimi walked through the streets, moving as quickly as possible. She couldn't tell exactly what was up, but the droids had seen her and she had to warn the others. The port would be going under lockdown soon, and every ship inspected. After all, Kissimi was on the watch list of citizens who couldn't be seen out and about among the citizens. Even though she wasn't a criminal, her scuffles with local law enforcement had gotten her into some trouble, and the wolves were no help.

Bane cursed from the effort and said “call her. Tell her to run back now. And have your sister come inside. It’s not safe out there even for a seasoned fighter. It’s dicey here at night…”

He knew this was bad and they needed help now. Megara was in worse shape than she let on. But how did Pira not notice it?

Chase Jackson

Chase nodded and went to find his sister, switching on the transmitter and speaking quickly. "Master Kissimi. How fa-" He stopped. He couldn't feel Pira at all. "How fast can you get here?" He finished before switching it off, as he had been told, and pocketing it. He called out quietly for his sister, but there was no response. She wasn't under the stairs, where he'd first checked, and he was getting scared. He went back inside.

"I can't find Pira, but Master Kissimi is on her way," He reported.

Kissimi

Kissimi glanced around before slowing to answer Chase. "Kid, this better be an emergency. Give me a minute," was all she answered. She knew all radio channels, even smaller or unused ones, would now be monitored. This was not going very well for her. The wolves appeared at her sides as she ducked into an almost black alley. She slid onto the white wolf's back since White was the faster runner, and she was off. It would still be a good twenty minutes before she got back to the ship, more if the port was already being locked down, and she hoped Bane and the kids would have it under control for that duration of time.

Bane cursed again and said “I cant leave megara like this. You will need to see if you can find her. She needs to get back on the ship before the droids start their checks” bane checked megaras vitals again and said “okay…I might be able to take a break and go sniff her out…”
