Ancient Greek Academy (working title)

I was thinking of starting an RPG about a place in Ancient greece (not sure how historically accurate this is gonna be yet), where the great city-states send their best and brightest to learn the arts nessecary to be productive members of greek society, up to and including swordplay, politics, philosophy, rhetoric, military tactics, and even some art.

Players would play as 15-20 year olds from Athens, Sparta, Crete, Thebes or Rhodes. Each of these cities have their own tradtions and ideas, but that's not to say you can't be creative.

I'll get an OOC started later tonight. Anyone interested?

So far, I'd like to play a calm, young man (I was thinking about 19 years old), who mainly wants to learn arts, rhetoric, and philosophy, but maybe as the story progresses someone can awaken the fire within him and get him to do some more 'firey' stuff (swordplay, politics, military tactics).
He seems quite friendly and modest, but can be quite snobby/arrogant at times.
As for the city he's from, I would need to know the traditions and ideas. (I'm not super familiar with the traditions, etc per city although I followed classes Ancient Greek Language and Culture in highschool.)
