If you really wanted, you could message Sora and ask if either he or you could do a reboot of it, and if he agrees that you can, you could message Vash, since I think he was privy to some of the plot.

sora's last post was two months ago... I have some doubt that Sora will be online for a while.....

Then the best thing you could do is ask Vash if he wants to try and help reboot it, and if Sora comes back, then it would be smart to ask if it was alright. Worst case, he says no and you have to shut it down. Best case, he doesn't give a fuck. Or you could just change the plot enough so that it doesn't matter what he says and you could just ignore him.
