Super Hero RP

I was thinking that I'd like to do an RP involving cannon superheroes from Marvel and DC (we'd do something like a shared universe between the two), among possibly other sources, and we'd RP them together at the start of their super heroing careers and go on from there.

Would this interest anybody?

I'm somewhat interested, but I just need to ask... Amongst the possible other sources, would something like Kamen Rider or Super Sentai/Power Rangers be okay? I'd still be interested if not, just that I always seem to have trouble when it comes to Marvel and DC characters for some reason. ^^;

@Rin I'm going to have to say 'no' to that, I'm afraid. As much as I love Power Rangers, it doesn't quite fit the theme I'm going for, sorry.

What about Kamen Rider? That's more kind of traditionally super hero-y, if it helps. ^^;

I don't really know much about Kamen Rider, but I'm very strongly considering it. I'll do more research later on.

Now that I've done more research, I'm thinking I'll say yes.

I'm thinking I'll play Agent Coulson as my primary character. My secondary character...hm, maybe either the Shredder or the Joker. What do you guys think?

The Joker's pretty badass, though I may have to do some research on 'Agent Coulson'. I'm thinking of going with Spiderman, or Peter Parker for my primary. Are we able to do small personality shifts in their characters?

The Joker is always fun, but... It's difficult to say no to good old Oroku Saki. Although which specific version of Shredder you'd be going with would be the real dealmaker. XD

Agent Coulson is a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe who was originally an extra in the Iron Man movie, but grew in popularity such that he now has his own TV show called "Agents of SHIELD".

That sounds good. Just to be sure, this is when the heroes FIRST get their powers, and start their superheroing shenanigans?

As much as I love Judge Dredd, I think he wouldn't fit because this isn't going to be set in the post-apocalyptic future.

The judges were made before the post apocalypse and put in place to protect the law and fight in future battles. Dredd could simply be a graduate from the judges who was indoctornated into crime fighting by the chief judge instead of everyday judge duties. If not that then the judges could have disbanded earlier and Dredd just continued the studies solely.
