Katrina was sitting in a little cafe on the corner of a street. She was sipping tea and was waiting for a contact. She had been here before and has grown deep ties in the underground. She was hoping to get information about her parents.
She then looked at her picture she had put out for the informant to look at. “Mom dad I will find you” she said then took another sip of her tea.

Daisy yawned “Big brother where are we going?” She asked Nex cutely. She was a little spoiled by Nex because they were like siblings.

Nex looked over at Daisy from his book a brow raising at her.
"That's simple my dear. We aren't going anywhere, I'm waiting on someone to die. Sometimes being a reaper calls for a little patience. Though you can go exploring for a bit here's a fifty. Don't spend it all in one place," He said handing the young looking girl a fifty dollar bill.
He then leaned back as he kept reading his book. He was sitting at a cafe enjoying a nice cup of cocoa with pepermint. The book he was reading was on the current souls that he'd collected. Each one he recorded in his little black book. Along with any that other reapers shared with him. He loved their history, he loved how some could so easily be boiled down to a single page; or even a single paragraph.

Alexi was walking down the strip mall where there was a shooting range, a cafe, and an another store where one could buy things for pets, and other hobbies. For now she was just window shopping, because she didn't really have any money to spend.

James: James was at a shooting range in a building with his L85, shooting targets. Crack, crack, crack. That was all the noise that was heard as he fired, hitting the targets precisely. After a while, he had shot all the targets, and had reviewed his results. Shrugging, he disassembled the rifle, and put it in his backpack. James slipped the backpack on, and walked outside. He thought about going to the cafe down the street, since he had some money on him, and that is what he did. He walked down the street, into the cafe, and sat at a table.

Ramo walked idly down a street, whistling to himself. He was quite bored, and wanted something to do. He looked at some pretty ladies in an alley, then moved on, staring into shop windows.

Daisy took the fifty and ran to the strip mall looking into the shops with a smile. She was looking for something that will be nice. She soon found a top she thought was cute. She quickly went in and tried it on loving the look and feel of the fabric. "I got to get this" she said as she took it off putting her other top on. She then went to the cash register and paid. It was $31.21 but she didn't mind as she skipped out of the store.

Katrina soon watched as a man sat across from hr she slid the picture "Any information on these two?" She asked as she looked at the man. Who shook his head then stood up and left. "Damn" she said as she looked down.

Nex slowly set his book into his inside coat pocket. He looked at Katrina closely, he could sense her souls time was almost up on the mortal coil. Along with a lot of the people in the area, he quickly stood up. He hadn't noticed this before his eyes dilating as he realized something.
“Oh shit,” he said.
As portals began to open up all over the place. Demons began spawning out, and running out to attack the people in the mall. Brutally killing anyone that they got their horrific claws into. He pulled out his scythe quickly as he sent out a swarm of shadows to protect those in the cafe.
“Get the fuck inside! NOW,” Nex ordered.
His pitch black scythe swarming with shadows. He sliced into the demons like they were paper, while conventional weapons like guns did nothing to them.

Alexi saw the demons coming, and screamed out in terror. She ran past Ramo in trying to escape to safety, he noticed her time table was almost up.

James was surprised at what he saw, and backed away. Even the trained soldier couldn't believe what he saw. He quickly grabbed his backpack, and began to assemble his gun as fast as possible.

Ramo turned around, and was a bit horrified at the fact that demons were appearing. He quickly whipped out his scythe, looking at the demons. "Come at me."

Katrina was quick to run inside the cafe. She was trying to figure out what was going on. What were the things attacking people and who this guy was that was slicing them apart.

Daisy quickly dropped her bag and summoned her scythe. She the saw a demon going for a man who was assembling a rifle. She knew he wouldn't do it in time so she used her powers over the air to take her there in a blink of an eye where she sliced the demon. "Sir get into cover" she said.

Nex kicked a demon back through a portal he was still watching the cafe, and didn't see as one came up from behind till they brought their sword down across his face. Nex roared out in pain as his left eye was gouged out, blood pouring onto the floor. Nex began to shift his form becoming wrapped in shadows, and his skin melted away slowly. Revealing a horrifying creature of bones, and shadow with a right eye glowing blue. While his left remained an empty black socket of a skull with a slash across the forehead down to the cheek. He sent out a wave of shadows to wash the demons away skewering them through the heads, chests, and an assortment of other places.

James was surprised was surprised when he was saved by a girl, and nodded. He quickly picked up his half-assembled rifle and it's parts, then ran to the back of the cafe. He quickly put the last parts together, and lined up shots to fire at the creatures, and let rip with bullets. However, the bullets only made the creatures stagger; they couldn't get through the creature's hide.

A few creatures leaped at Ramo, and he swiftly cut them down. A lot more demons turned around, and leaped at Ramo. This was too many demons for Ramo to slice down, so he quickly brought his hand up and closed his eyes. Suddenly, a giant gust of water erupted from his hand, gushing straight at the demons. The water burst straight through their bodies, and they fell to the ground, dead. Ramo smiled. "This is fun." He looked around, and spotted a young woman in distress. He quickly dashed toward her, and sliced down a few demons on his way. He spotted a portal opening up in front of her, grabbed, her shoulder and pulled her back. He quickly sliced the demon that popped out of the portal, and turned to the woman. "Quick, get to the cafe!" He said to her, pointing in the direction of the building.

[Titan]

Daisy went back outside to check on Nex to only see that he was missing an eye. "Oh no" she said with worry not sure what to do to help him. She then used her control over the air to slice some demon's heads off. They had to stop the invasion quickly so Nex could get medical attention.

Katrina was looking for a weapon that she could use preferably a gun. She then saw a man fire a rifle for it to nothing. "We're screwed" she said as she looked down. She had no way of surviving this. She looked outside to see a skeleton and a girl with scythes they looked like they were killing the monsters but will they turn on them?

Nex was soon shaking even though it wasn't seeming like he was loosing blood. He was still loosing a fair bit of strength, and soon felt himself falling. He caught himself by bracing against his scythe. Soon all the portals shut, and one massive one was beginning to open. It was the size of a massive building, and Nex sighed out in a great deal of aggrivation. He shut his eye, and reached out to the ones in the cafe.
"I need your help, we cannot finish this without one sacrificing themselves. You're life will no longer be just your own, it will be to protect our world," Nex said in James, and Katrina's mind.
As they were the only ones that were the most attuned to the world of magic, and had the strength to survive what would happen.

Alexi turned to Ramo her pupils dilated, and she nodded. She then stopped seeing the massive portal beginning to open.
"What is that," she asked in terror.

James was confused at the voice in his head, and looked around to see if it actually was in his head. It was most likely coming from the skeleton that was reaching it's hand toward those in the cafe. I can't do this, can I? He thought to himself. My life will no longer be just my own. What does that mean? Does it mean I'm going to be sharing my life? That's a bit strange... He thought to himself.

Ramo quickly looked at the giant portal that had opened up. "It's something not good, that's what. We need to get to the cafe, now!" He began to run.

[Titan]

Katrina blinkedin confusion before she realized that it was the man...or thing that saved her. She owed her life to them so she stood up and walked to them. She wasn't sure what would happen but knew it would be better than getting killed by these monsters.

Daisy was on guard but she was scared she knew she wouldn't be able to this on her own at all. She looked at Nex and saw a woman walk up with her head down. Daisy looked back at Nex was this woman to be his partner?

"You're a very brave young girl," Nex said turning to look at Katrina.
His eye glowing faintly, and he stood upright. He pulled back his robe revealing his rib cage beating within was a heart radiating with an inhuman amount of power.
"Take my heart, and consume it. Our souls will be intermingled your power will awakened, and we will forever be bound. If one dies so does the other, but if you do not take my heart. Then everyone here shall die," Nex said his voice echoing.
He dipped his hand into his chest, and tore out his heart. Offering it to the girl, but not forcing it upon her.

"Right," Alexi said.
She ran with Ramo to the cafe seeing a strange skeleton talking to a girl. Though she didn't stop as she got inside the Cafe with Ramo.

James stepped up to the skeleton man and the two girls beside, and his face turned to disgust when he heard that the girl who was not one of the 'strange' people had to eat the skeleton man's heart. Oh god, do I have to do this too? He looked at the other girl, the one who had saved his life earlier, and cocked an eyebrow. His tail fluttered a bit beneath his clothes.

Ramo ran inside the cafe with the girl, and sighed. He looked toward two people whom he recognised as reapers, and was surprised when he saw that one was giving up his heart to a human. Seriously? He's doing that? I don't think I'm ready to do that. He cocked an eyebrow.

[Titan]

Katrina looked at the heart with surprise and disgust. "You mean I have to eat your heart...? I..." she stopped as she thought what was her hidden powers? What if she could find her parents with them? There is only one way to find out. "I will eat your heart" she said taking the heart and looked at it. It was still beating she took in a deep breath then shoved it in her mouth and soon swallowed it. She felt as her chest felt like her heart was being ripped out and being replaced.

Daisy looked at the man that walked up "you heard the speech...will you accept my heart if I offer?" She asked as she prepared a hand to rip her heart out.

Nex smiled faintly, and became human again. Though his left eye was now covered in a shadowy eyepatch, he grabbed her quickly and swallowed her whole. Soon energy swirled around him wrapping him in shadows as he grew to a giant 50 foot tall mechanical humanoid. With a black cloak over them that draped over their face. He prepped a scythe as the portal opened up, and he lunged at the giant demon. Before it even had a chance to figure out what the hell was going on.

Alexi dropped to her knees in complete horror as she saw the man swallow that girl. She was shaking, and she scurried to the very back of the cafe.

James hesitated. I was born to be a soldier, to save lives. I have to do this. He nodded to the girl, but was surprised when the skeleton had turned back into a human, swallowed the other girl and turned into a giant mechanical humanoid. He looked toward Daisy with a nervous face.

Ramo walked after the girl that he was looking after. "It's okay." He said. He was never good at sympathy. "Um, listen, I have to ask something." Ramo said to the woman. "You need to eat my heart. It will unlock the power within you. Your life will no longer be just your own." Admittedly, Ramo was himself quite nervous.

[Titan]

Katrina looked around she was in some sort of cock pit inside the man. "Um" she said not sure what to do at that point. She was stuck there. Though soon she started to get a feed in her mind. He vision was not that of Nex. She then felt her body moving. She then focused on the demon "lets kill it" she said as she swung the scythe wanting to end this now. But the demon had dodged to quickly.

Daisy nodded as she turned into a skeleton and reached into her chest and held it out for James. "Here you go by the way my name is Daisy" she said sweetly. She was happy to find a partner if the man was still up for it.

[Owlriel]

"Um no thanks.... I would rather just sit here thank you," Alexi said as she quietly looked down.
She was shaking in fear, and she kept herself as far away from Ramo as possible.

Nex responded to Katrina slashing at the demon. Though it was faster then he expected, shadow arched up behind the demon. Attempting to grab at them.

"Well, I'm sorry about this, but I have to do it." He turned himself into a skeleton, took his heart out, then gently grabbed the girl and forced her mouth open. He then proceeded to shove his heart down her throat. He then took his hand out and turned back to his normal form, looking really sorry.

James hesitated, and took Daisy's heart. "Um, I'm James." He said, before he put the heart in his mouth and swallowed hard. He felt a sensation of illness, and had a strange feeling in his chest, like his heart was being pushed away and replaced. "God, I think I might be sick." He mumbled.

[Titan]

Katrina watched "so how we going to fight this thing?" She asked as she tried to communicate with Nex. She wasn't sure if they could or not in this form.

"Don't worry James it will pass" Daisy said as she changed back into her human form. "Ready to become a mech? I must warn you I have to swallow you but don't worry you will be fine" she said. Her voice still sounded innocent and sweet the whole time.

[Owlriel]

"I'm going to hold it off till the others can get into their mech forms," Nex said in Katrina's mind.
He kept trying to protect the strip mall from the demon's attacks.

As Alex felt herself swallow the heart, she punched Ramo in the face hard. Hard enough to send him back away from her. Then began to cough as she clasped her hands to her chest, it hurt so much. She began to cry trembling in fear of what Ramo had done to her.

James swallowed hard. "Yeah, I'm ready." He says. He felt really, really nervous. "Do it." He whispers.

"Ow." Ramo said, as he got punched. "Once again, I'm sorry." He guessed that she would probably resist swallowing, so what did he do? He quickly grabbed her and swallowed her, running outside, and starting to grow in size and into a mechanical humanoid.

[Titan]

Daisy nodded as she grabbed James and started to swallow him whole. When he was in her she grew into a giant mechanical wolf. "Weird are you part wolf?" She asked as she stood there. She was about 25 feet to her shoulders. She then ran into the fight going to bite the demon.

"Ok" Katrina said as she looked back. She saw as the other two had become giant mechs as well.

[Owlriel]

"Now this is going to be a lot easier," Nex said.
As the demon lunged away from Daisy to be punched by Nex. Though Ramo was having a great amount of trouble, because Alexi was resisting him.

James was surprised. Nobody is supposed to know that I'm half wolf...
"Um, no." James replied to Daisy, telling a lie.

Ramo was having trouble moving, because every time he tried Alexi would keep him from moving toward the demon, most likely scared of the situation. We have to fight it, Ramo said to her. It's okay, nothing will go wrong.
