Haha, ya... Animals are expensive. We have two small dogs, bought them at 600 each. One of them ate a skewer and quadrupled that price in less than two weeks. We still don't know how she managed to swallow a skewer whole...

lol the bigger parrots are awesome but expensive.. Id love a cockatoo but they are 800 bucks, o,o and Alexandrine seemed easier and slightly cheaper plus I held two and thought they were amazing XD
My cockatiels were cheap o.o Luckily they never ill since I don;t think I live close to an Avian vet o.o

I had a cockatiel... until it ran outside and flew away. We found... a good twenty feet up in the air in a tree... Never saw it again. But I did make a really good friend out of it. So that's nice.

one mine has escaped before. was lucky he didn't go far and I got him back. But thats cuse my sister had him outside and even with wings clipped they can still get away. It just makes it harder o,o
But I lost my dove when she escaped.

Yeah my dove was desperate to breed i think, she heard the wild doves and had no mate, and had never tried to escape till then o,o
But lol theres a cute Alexandrine at petshop called Eddie... Wish i could get him but cant since nowhere to put him yet XD

lol ringnecks are cheaper and smaller. But lol if i cant get an alexandrine I'll get a ringneck. But lol I only seen green Alexandrines in stores so far. think ringnecks and alexandrines related o,o

hhaha lol yeah XD no classes for few weeks so no bus money or stuff for a bit XD lol i had alot money before uni started up at end of summer D:
LOl mums friends ex father in law breeds parrots. He has alot. And had Alexandrines . Dunno if he had spares but may have since not seen his birds in months XD But hehe he gave me Loki and River my breeding pair of cockatiels for free o,o lol yeah named bird Loki XD

hahah lol yeah had to name a pet loki and since I only can get birds without disagrements from parents XD otherwise I would have named a cat or dog Loki but yeah bird still works XD
Have one called Luna. suppose thats kinda in refrence to harry potter but not nessicarly and River after River on Doctor Who XD

Haha We have a dog named Nala like from Lion King and the other named Chloe which is a variation of Cleo, the fish from Pinocchio. Our old dog was Bella or Belle like from Beauty and the Beast.

hhhhaa lol wow Alexandrines live 40 years and bond mainly with one person and shun other family memebers XD That totally fine since I only one who looks after my birds. Think id get male even if not breeding some female birds randomly lay eggs. I worry for Luna and River sometimes since don't want them getting sick from laying too many eggs. Not happened so far because I tried to control that
