Wow... So... 30 fucking posts in one night? Do you even realize that there are other people there? How can anyone be that bad at roleplaying? Now I am forced to have my character just sit around doing nothing for the entirety of the fight, do you realize that? Nobody, at any point, thought about "Hey, there's some other dudes sitting around who could potentially do shit, so I might want to wait with posting a million times so those people has the oppotunity to react to everything that is happening."? No. Nobody fucking did. And if they did; they ignored that very potent thought.

Sorry for swearing so much, but you pissed me off a great deal.

And before anyone goes "You could just have been online and posted", let me just mention, again, that I live in a different time zone from most. I sleep while you post.
And I have a job, familiy and lots of pets, so very little free time.

I'm GMT+0 which means I'm six hours ahead of the GM and I'm assuming the others are close to that aswell. If you can only barely post once a day in this rp because of little free time due to personal reasons, then that's not our fault you joined this. There's no need to call us bad roleplayers, we had too many characters in this anyway.

The point is not that I can only post once a day; I could post much more if I was actually here when other people are posting. Unfortunately, I am not. That fact that pisses me off is that so much happened in so little IRL time and not only that, but everything was done without a care for the people who were not online and thus not posting.

For example:
In one of Zordon's posts, Luci(ana) sits down next to my character (Guitar Guy).

Luciana watched as more of the men in the room began to gravitate towards the small group in the corner, leaning around an image one of the men had been working on when she first entered. Her attention drifted to the bookshelf off to the left, her face lighting up as she excitedly rose from her chair and strode across the room. Without a second thought, she grabbed a book from the top shelf, turning her attention to the man plucking the strings of a guitar. She smirked, tilting her head to the side, listening to the soft rise and fall of the melody.

Carrying the book close to her chest, she strides over to the red haired man and lowers herself beside him without a word. She knew she'd never be able to concentrate on reading with music playing in the background. But it was not unpleasant and so, she decided to enjoy it for the time being. She could always read back in her cell.

The annoying clack of boots broke her attention up and towards the door. Six guards positioned themselves around the room, one of them grumbling that half of the 'monsters' in the room shouldn't have been given permission to be there, arguing to himself about stupid humanity laws. Her eyes recognized Jared, posted closest to the door. Why were they in here? Were they going to rough them all up? Luciana sincerely hoped not.

Now, that is all fine and dandy and surely, Sissy would have something to say to this lovely young woman who came to sit by his side, but alas, he never did get the cahnce, because I (the Player) was asleep while this went down.

Now, taking into account that he burned down his neighborhood the last time he was put in an extremely stressful position and his powers were awakening with ferocity that made him nervours and/or stressed, a full blown fight going on right in front of him would have pretty much made him explode. But no, I (the Player) was asleep and thus, he has no choice but to idly sit by through the whole thing.

Stuff like that.

And the fact that all of this went down without a regard of the Players that might have wanted to be part of all this actually does make you bad RPers. You might be great writers, what do I know, but roleplaying takes teamwork and teamwork means you have to wait for the fat kid with astma.

I actually agree with a lot of the points AM has made. To my knowledge, these prisoners had all day to be in this room and... In under an hour? Tops? We're busting out?

I posted the guards in the room, trying to make things more stressful and tense, having to make people be more creative with discussing the plan. Not just start attacking everything in their sights.

I did think that we should give other people time to post and react but, alas I cannot stop other people from posting. And, because I was fortunate enough to be online, I simply tried to keep up.

I will sincerely miss "Sissy" and am sorry that you are dropping, but also completely understand your reasoning.

There was supposed to be a plan that me and Soul were making but everyone ignored it and started being the lone Malcolm X of metahumans and they wouldn't edit it so we had to go with it.

I actually read the PM way to late, I didn't Brice Soul PMed me until two hours after he did. Had I actually seen it I would have edited my post. My bad. Also, to fix the whole breaking out thing there is a simple solution. Make them fail. Have them get out of the building, but be surrounded by like, 100 MPS when they do. This could solve AM's problem, as he could just saw that he had heard that some prisoners ha tried to escape but fail. He could he in the next, more elaborate escape plan. But I assume AM isn't coming back, but we could still make them fail. I don't want this escape to be too easy, I mean, this is really the fort time they ever met.

Some people knew eachother from reputation, some already knew eachother others where complete stranger. You could chose to know someone else there. Also i'm just putting it out here but i won't be able to roleplay untill late tonight. Sorry (late = 11 p.m. GMT or later)

Also, reading the first few posts about this prison, this is the worst maximum security prison ever. Seriously, no guards other than escorting them to the room? And only ONE camera. This room has access to all sorts of weapons everyday criminals could use but and yet, there's only one camera and no guards. Escape would be SOOO easy.

I had to make it realistic.

I think you're misunderstanding me. I am not unhappy with how quickly things happened IC (In Character). I'm unhappy with how quickly it happened IRL (In Real Life). The point I was making was that thirty posts had been made while I was asleep (and unless you expect me to just not sleep at all, I have to sleep at night). The fact was that I had no oppotunity to actually be part of what happened. Making them fail and have to try again is a nice thought, but it does not change the fact that my character would have acted differently in the situation he was put in (which means, he would have actually done something).

The point is that everything happened in a short amount of time in the real world.

This is why I complained a bit after the first night (night for me) the IC had been up. Fourteen posts had been made in one night and even though nothing had really happened in those fourteen posts, it was still a bad omen for me. And, as it turns out, I was right.

I'm not coming back for the simple reason that you guys are all still going to post during my nights and I can make one post for every thirty of yours.

@AM: I go back to my previous statement towards you; I completely understand and agree with your reasoning. "Sissy" was actually one of the characters I was most interested in. I wish you the best in your roleplaying endeavors.

No, I just thought that this roleplay was going to be awesome and that I wouldn't have time to participate in another because I would be devoting my focus to this one. I understand your decision though, but I'm just frustrated that this didn't work out.
