Maktane sat unmoved and quiet, "And now it starts all over again..." He stated quietly as he stood. His attitude was dark and his hair covered his eyes. He started walking toward the kitchen. When he got a few feet away from Vixen he looked directly at the floor, "Forgive me, you did not deserve such harsh treatment. If there is anything I can do to help, I would gladly do so." He stood quietly not moving any closer to Vixen.

Vixen turned to maktane her percision with a knife was close to impeccable as was her speed of chopping. With one fluid movement she scooped vegtables up and tossed them into a pot. She turned the stove on and started to cook. "Im fine thanks for asking. " the words came out a bit dull as she spoke. "You dont have to push me away you know. I wasn't too be your friend not your enemy." She turned and looked at him

Maktane stood silent never lifting an eye to Vixen, "What does it mean to have friends?" His voice was quiet and sincere. The way he spoke made it obvious that this was an honest question. "What is having a family suppose to be like?" Tears dropped to the ground, Maktane's hands became clenched into fists.

Vixen turned to him and sighed a bit. "Its being nice to eachother and helping one another. Its protection Nd life. Taking to one another when we are sad and beating challenges together"see took his hand in her before hugging him.

Maktane gasped as Vixen hugged him. He spoke quietly, "Why me?" His voice strained and tired, "Why do you guys want me to be a part of that?" Maktane's body couldn't handle the amount of emotion running threw his mind, Maktane passed out as he fell limp in Vixen's arms. He was tired from all that had happened that day and his body couldn't take anymore.

Vixen held onto maktane as he went limp in her arms. She smiled. And took him to the bedroom laying him down. She layed a blanket over him and whispered "cause i believe in second chances.." with that she went back to cooking.

Kaito smiled eyes closed and listening to the two of them. His smile grew wider when he heard Videos words to Maktane.
"We both do." He said softly knowing no one would hear him.

Vixen made her way over to kaito and smiled at him with soft eyes. "You hungry" she asked him stirring the oh on the stove a hearty smell filled the apartment as she pulled bread out of her inventory and stuck it in the oven

Kaito smiled up at her and nodded. He couldn't help but feel like for the first time he was glad he was trapped in this world. He felt like he finally belonged somewhere.
"Attention players: Today February 18th at 21:00 the third floor has been cleared and access to floor four has been granted." The announcement rang through the world of Aincrad and outside people cheered in the streets.

Vixens eyes lit up at the sound of the news. "Can you believe it!" She exclaimed. Hugging him beaming. "We should have a celebration!"

Kaito grins and hugs her back.
"We actually have a chance!" He nearly shouted feeling all his hopes and excitement rush through him.

Maktane woke up rubbing his eyes and yawning. "Huh? What's with all the yelling?" He asks himself as he walked out of the room and slowly walks up to Kaito and Vixen. He yawns again and runs a hand across his face, "Why are you guys yelling? Some of us are trying to sleep you know." He sits down in a nearby chair, he seems to have forgotten about what happened before he passed out.

Kaito laughs and claps him on the shoulder.
"The assault team just cleared the dungeon we can get to the fourth floor." He said with a grin as he looked out the door before turning back to Maktane.
"And I'd bet my life that your brothers laid their lives down so you could go home..so we all could go home." He said hugging him

Vixen smiled and jumped up And DOWN CHEERING as maktane came out she ran over and jumped on his arms hugging him "one step coder to home! " she hadn't felt this happy in a long while. She blushed slightly still holding on to maktane as she let him go. She fixed her shirt and looked to kaito with a smile

"What!" Maktane's eyes widened, "They've cleared the third floor!?" He smiled to himself. He looked at both Kaito and Vixen, "Well?" He scratched the back of his head, "What are we waiting for? Let's go see what's up there." Maktane slowly started walking out of the apartment, Your deaths weren't in vain guys, I promise you... I'll make it out alive. He looked back at his new found family and smiled, I'll get all of us out of here alive.

Vixen rushed and took both boys hands in her own. "Lets wait til morning. Dinner is done and everyone will be on the fourth floor to begin with. Plus we don't want to draw any attention to ourselves. No offence maktane." She smiled at him

Maktane gasped, "Oh... Yeah right... Red Player and all....... Wait... Did you just say their was food?" Maktane's attention shifted quickly at the thought of food. "Well where is it I'm hungry!" He stopped himself before saying anymore, "Hey Kaito," Maktane looked over to him, "When is this whole Red Player thing suppose to go away... I've had this status for so long, I kinda forgot." He scratched the back of his head and tried to smile, but failed after the thought of what he did for three months shoot back in his memory.

Vixen smiled and nodded walking to the kitchen "chicken soup"she chuckled "and bread." I hope its okay. " she laughed and fixed three bowls of the steaming soup ahe then pulled the bread out of the oven and started to cut into it creating three equal parts "there dinner is served"

Maktane seemed to move his attention everywhere, he seemed like a different person, less dark and lonely to more awkward and fun. Almost as if he was being his real self. "Yeah!" He threw his arms up in the air, "Food!" Maktane ran to a seat and sat down. He ate pretty quickly and sat with a satisfied smile on his face, "That was awesome," He looked over to Vixen with a big smile, "You're one hell of a cook!" He tried to stand up, but his foot got caught on the chair and he tipped over and fell onto the ground. "Ow... Well then." He sat on the floor rubbing his head. The orange marker above his head suddenly turned green, but he was to busy with putting the chair back in its place to even realize.

Vixen laughed and rushed over to help her friend up and smiled. "Thank you and be careful please" she hugged him and smiled brightly her eyes wide "your now a green player maktane" she touched his cheek "welcome tot he ranks once more my friend." She went to back up but tripped on his foot falling backwards
