[IC] The Myth Uncovered

[Lucifer Lover]

The castle he had created, never vanished from history of time. The castle of Dracula stood looming over the towns below it, the owners son Alucard has agreed to give tours and show many around the castle that so wished for it. He watched the earth silently move forward, kids laugh and talk of Dracula, the myths and books. The male could only laugh at their sensless fun of mocking him. He grinned darkly as he got a letter to have a tour of the castle by a teacher . He agreed to this and it was a snipping morning in july now and then the castle loomed over. It was dark at night by the time kids got to the castle, around seven at night. Alucard smiled from the op of the stairs of the caslte inside watching the kids file in. One tried out their voices to echo and it was very large echo. A bat screeched and swooped past the kids and to the males shoulder and he smiled.

"welcome to Dracula's Castle i will be your tour guide, I'm Alucard Vladmire. I am thrilled to show you lovely bunch of people around but I ask you to stay close to each other the castle is huge and wouldn't like to get you lost" he mused as he walked over to the teacher. The teacher was a tall girl with deep blue eyes. She smiled shaking his hand. Alucard has long black hair slowly blowing in the wind, his eyes an deep blue color. A large massive guard dog lay beside the castle door, its eyes glowing a deep green color that flashed in the darkness of the massive castle. It barked and yapped deeply at them all and then went to Alucard his was up to the males elbow which was not normal and it looked very strong, and dangerous. Alucard looked over at the kids and a girl caught his eyes, his eyes widen and saw a girl that looked very familure, a girl that only time of the past could bring back. All he remembered was seeing a little girl playing by a road and ran to get a ball, as a car rolled down the street. He remembered bolting over faster then any human and put her safely to the side of the road in his arms and whispers "be more careful dear child" and then just like that the mysterous male was gone. Alucard snapped out of his day dream. He looked once more and smiles gently "alright lets get this tour started please fallow me and watch your step" he said and takes the class up the large stairs.

Avery was walking up to the castle with her best friend, TOny, who was having his fun looking around at the building itself. "This is a artitect's dream...Ave look at this place?" He looked at her and saw she wasn't really listening, her nose in a book. Tony sighed and tapped her nose. "Hey, I know myth and legends are your thing but you might want to look around instead of reading about it" She looked up, her amburn hair in her face, her bright green/hazel eyes looking around. "Sorry, theres just so much I wanted to reread before we got here. If I'm ever going to become a expert like my father, I need to keep rereading and learning." Tony blinked then asked "Um...do you really believe in all of this...vampire stuff?" Avery smiled and said "Tony, you know me. I don't believe in anything without facts..."

From the second floor a huge man was hiding in the shadows, keeping his masters orders. To keep any of the guests from getting lost or into anything dangerous. His yellow/gold eyes watched the group stop at the stairs while MAster Alucard greet them. HE sniffed the air, his wolf like senses picking up anything that would give him anything he would need to keep this tour safe. One scent caught his attention and he looked at the girl just as his master did. He blinked and muttered "It can't be..."

Alucard smiles gently and looked at the group "alright lets go" he said turning his body to the stairs and walked up the long black stairs of his humble of home. it was a large flight of stairs and hears some kids complain about it and smirks gently. He came to a large living room with some paintings and it was a large dance hall. He turned to the group "feel free to explore the rooms and other places, things will be locked in the castle please do keep yourselves safe" smiles gently and watches kids run around the rooms. Alucard watched the girl his eyes blinked and went back down to his guard slowly and looked at him "your thinking the same thing I am?" he asked slowly looking at his beloved guard he kept around.

Alex grinned gently "Dracula's a joke come on he's overrated male" he ginned and looked at everything in the room. He loved insulting everything about myths and everything that had to do with vampires. he was the jock and spoiled but he was a wicked fighter as well "I bet i could take on that vampire any time" he grinned cocky. He was always full of himself and blinks as the guard near the room with the host seemed to growl at him and he glares over slightly.

The guard nodded and sniffed again. "Its her, no doubt about it...I could never forget that scent...boss, if she sees you....it might come back to her. I know you tried to push the memory into a dream state but...we didn't count on you ever running into her again" Bane said, looking at his master with concern, then heard what the young man said and Avery walked up to him, closing her book.

Tony sighed as Avery frowned and walked up to Alex, her eyes burning into his face. "Well Alex...would you like me to run thru what would happen to you if you ever ran into a true vampire, if legend tells of truth" She walked around him and said "Well it would depend on if it was a female or a male vampire....much like werewolves, the sex of the being shows its way of capturing prey. A female vampire wouldn't attack you...no, the fairer of the two would simplely seduce its prey.." She pushed Alex against the wall, her face maybe half an inch away from hers. "She would wrap you around her little finger...twisting your words...thoughts and actions until you were begging her to take you...but by then you wouldn't really be yourself by that point..." she ran a finger down his face then she said "Now, a male vampire, that is a different story. If he were going after female prey, he would use the same method. But if he were going after a mortal of the same sex...well, that would be much more painful" She moved back and said "First, he would pin you into a dead end, no where for you to run. But to a vampire....that is a lot of places. Then you would knocked off your feet.." She suddenly ducked and kicked Alex's legs ut from under him and he landed on his back. She jumped up and landed on his chest, holding him down. "The strength of a vampire is unmatched....the blood of its prey always running thru its veins...giving it immortal life..." SHe smiled and said "Then when you were trapped and had no where to go...he would strike without mercy or fear...ripping your throat out and then going after all the other major veins..." She bent down and said into his ear "And that...is how a vampire would deal with cocky air heads like you..." She patted his cheek and stood up, Tony going over and helping her up as she turned without another word and walked over to a huge painting on the wall, looking at it like nothing had happened.

Alex smirks "but vampire are not real so i got nothing tow orry about Book worm" he insulted her smirking and then snorted . he lookedat the host and could have sworn he looked inpressed byt the girls actions. he grumbled and walked into the other rooms and check them out.

Alucard looked at bane and nodded "well yes i know but its worth a shot to see if she can recall the whole thing" he mutters and then looked at the girl pretty much said everything that as true to the book. He grinned slightly "smart girl she grew up to be" he muses gently and then sighed softly looking as the class after an hour came back over to him. "alrighty off to the kitchen" he said and leaves toward a massive kitchen engraved with golden tiles, glowing in the light of the torches in the room. the host smiles as the food was out and ready 'well go on an eat everything is fine to eat" he nodded and ducked to the side as kids stampeded down the way to get food. Alucard sighed and sat down in the kitchen on a chair and gets a glass of wine slowly. he looked at the girl slightly, she seemed to be looking right back at him . he blinked his eyes and then looks away slightly.

Tony was fighting not to laugh as they class moved out of the room. "You really got him, Ave...he will be getting crap for weeks. Not only did a girl wipe the floor with him, he looked scared when you were doing it to him. How long have you been planning htat?" Ave shrugged and said "I wasn't. HE just bugs me, TOny...besides, his right. Vampires aren't real...but a part of me wishes they were so they could shut him up..." She let Tony ahead of her for food. She wasn't really hungry and she looked at their host just for a moment. When their eyes met a sudden headache hit her, making her look away and hold her head, blinking hard. Tony looked over at her and frowned, going back and putting an arm around her. "Hey, you alright?" Ave shook her head, her eyes still closed.

Bane had followed the group after keeping Alex from sneeking awya from the group. HE leaned against the door frame and saw what happened, his eyes flashing for a moment. "Boss..." He muttered softly, know he would hear him and make him look up.

Alucard jolted up slightly and shuddered slightly. his head hue and looked over at Bane "mmmm?" he asked rubbing his head slightly blinking his re eyes that turned blue color thanks to drinking the blood. he coughed gently looking at bane to see what he wanted, he side way glanced over and saw the girl looked like she had a headache and blinked his eyes a couple times.

Alex smiks at the girl and then eats a burger relaxing and yawned gently leaning back in his chair

Tony moved Avery out of sight, shooting Alex a dirty look. "What are you looking at, scary cat? YOu jump at stuff that isn't even real" HE got her into the hallway and leaned her against the wall, looking at her cafrefully. "HEy, Ave? YOu sure your alright?" She nodded nad said "Ya, must have been a head rush or something" HE sighed then said "If your sure...I'm sure we can hang back while the others finish the tour...heck, you could give the tour I bet" She smiled at him and said "More then likely..."

Bane went to his master and knelt down, making him look at him. "The memory must be forcing its way back...you need to stay away from her until you get your strength back. I think that there is more to the girl then meets the eyes..." He sighed and said "Besides...after the tour she's gone...if your alright with that"

Alucard nodded his head to bane slowly "that's what I'm worries about. Something could happen to her" he mutters not understanding why he felt so worried about her. Maybe it was in his blood grummbled gently. He looked at Alex feeling him plotting something his skin prickles uneasily.

Bane looked at Alex then back at his master. "Want me to keep an eye on her?"

Avery and Tony came back into the room, Avery looking back to normal again. Tony glared at Alex again and Avery said "His not worth it, tony...." He nodded and they followed the group out into the hallway, Avery having a bad feeling all of a sudden

Alucard looked at bane and nodded his head "yes that would help" he smiles gently and then gets up as the people where finished eating. He showed them to the stable where six massive black horses snorted and stayed they looked at the kids and snorted their nostrils and after about one last hour Alucard was told by the teacher they would need to stay the night. Alucard nodded and knew of eight rooms that could easily fit the kids inside and spoke to the kids

"Alright then we need girls to pair up with girls, and boys pair up with guys please. Now each room holds three beds and two bathrooms as well as a fireplace. Feel free to choose your friends but lights out are at 12 understand now go on and find a room" he said smiling gently to them. Alucard then went off to the library to where his own room lay hidden away from anyone's sight. He laid down ona. Bed and sighed gently, today was a long day. Hopefully nothing bad will happen.

Tony waved to Avery who said she wanted to see the castle more. Alex saw her leave and smiled and followed her. Bane was getting the kids set up when he counted and saw the two were missing. He cursed and stopped the teacher. "Which two of your students are missing?" She looked around and said "Well Avery sadi she needed to check out some of the other rooms that she missed before for her thesis project...but I have no idea where Alex went...I swear if that boys father wasn't a lawyer..." Bane frowned, knowing this was really bad. He said he would find them and left to go search, sniffing the air as he put in his ear bud and hit the rediel. He only ever called one person. "Boss its me. You were right about the boy from before. He followed when she went off alone to get looks at some of the open rooms she missed before. I'll sniff them out but I could use your help. You know how big this place is"

Avery was looking at a piece of art work in the hallway closely, the piece of the lord of the manor, lord Dracula. She tilted her head, feeling she knew the face and not just from the stories she had read. Then she heard a noise and turned to see Alex standing behind her. She sighed and frowned saying "What do you want, Alex? I'm trying to work here" He nodded and said "Oh I know...on your myth crap...you know...that little lesson earlier was interesting...but you missed one thing..." Avery moved back as he walked towards her, her sense telling her to run. "And what was that?" Alex smiled darkly and said "YOu forgot about how blood sucker store their food" He grabbed her and pulled her into his chest, pinning her there as he dragged her away down the hallway. He covered her mouth with his arm as he found what he was looking for and threw her inside, Avery hitting the floor hard. "Now we see who gets the last laugh, Bookworm" He shut the door and locked it, breaking the handle off while he was at it and walked away. Avery picked herself up, holding her shoulder which felt out of place. She shivered and looked around, then she went white. It was a ice locker. And it was small, which was really bad for her as she already felt her breath tighten. She didn't do well in small spaces and with her heart problem, this was a very bad combo. She limped to the door and tried to open it, her breath getting sharper. "Alex please...don't do this...please let me out..." She was already freezing, just wearing her t-shirt and jeans. SHe shivered again and sank to the floor, shaking and breathing hard. She was in big trouble.

Bane stopped, sniffing again and cursing. "I lost her scent...how did I lose it...unless something grabbed her..." He tapped the ear wig again and said "Boss...we got a big problem..."

Alucard eyes shot open hearing bane saying they had a big problem. He bolted upright and to where band was and looked at him "I will find her you go get that bloody boy I know he had something to do with it" said darkly but gently. He then took off into a running like pace easily running through the halls till he came to the ice locker. He screeched to a halt and looked at it. He touched the door and was able to see what had happened. He growled darkly, he would kill that boy for this. He growled and then said slowly "miss I ask that you stand back and shut your eyes" he called in before reeling his hand back and punching the door into splinters. He coughed slightly at the splinters in his hand and looked around his red eyes glowing, he suddenly saw the girl and went over to her and picked her up "come on" he said and walked out rather fast and to the kitchen. He grabbed a warm blanket and wrapped it around her "want soup does that help?" He asked, the host was scared because he was protective of her, she looked a lot like Mina but this was also bad he was getting attached to her and this was not something that was planned to happen. He clears his voice speaking to bane "hey bane we need some warm clothing in the kitchen please and if you got the boy I would love to talk to him for a bit" he said slowly and looked at her "your going to be fine, just be carefully next time" he smirks gently. Ruffling through cabinets to find soup that she might like.

Alex walked down the hallway snickering to himself, he felt good now that he got the girl in a nice cold room and laughed to himself. Not looking where he was going he slammed head first into.....we'll bane.meh growled "out of my way" he growled annoyed now that the hosts security was standing Infront of him.

Bane nodded then the boy ran into his back. He turned and smiled darkly, letting his yellow eyes glow in the darkness. "You got it...oh would you look at that...I found him..." He growled and grabbed Alex by the shirt collar and slammed him into the wall. "Your in my den now, pup...and I know what you are...you smell of failure and..." He took another long sniff and chuckled. "Rich brat too. My master would like a word...and then I get to have a little fun with you when his done with you...if there's anything left of you..." He picked him up and dragged him down the hallway, stopping a maid and telling her to get clothes from the laundry.

Avery was barely awake when she heard a voice. She looked at the door and moved away from it, using the wall. When it was smashed open Avery was breathing hard, her eyes barely open as the cold reached her already weak heart. When he set her down in the kitchen her lips were blue and her skin cold to the touch. She didn't say anything, shaking badly. She was fighting to stay awake, knowing thats how people died freezing to death. She wasn't really clear of what was going on around her, and then her heart started to skip beats, causing her to shaking more and sway slgihtly.

Alucard was getting warm air blasting on the girl and put steam around her to help thaw out the poor girl as well he stopped the steam as the cold started to leave the girl but she looked like a mess. He put another blanket on her as he was getting soup ready. He sighed gently looking over "your going to be fine you will" he reassures her but mostly himself. He hears bane walk in and turned his head toward them, his eyes glowing with furry "So this is what you call payback brat?" He hissed at Alex eyes glowing angrily. Alex was shaking gulping gently "I'm sorry I didn't think it would happen like this" he said in fear. Alucard glares eyes narrowed deeply "your in large amount of trouble tommrow, Bane what do you think he should do tommrow give Herous a bath, or wash the six horses of the chariot ?" He asked slowly as he gave the soup to the girl, the dog was a nasty little bugger that bit anyone that tried to give it a bath, bane and Alucard both had to get the dog a bath it took both of them to do it. The horses hated getting clean and they would bite and kick and beat the crap out of anyone that gave them a bath, Alucard and bane had to give them baths in weird ways like just dump water on them and get on their backs and scrub them down and even die getting bucked off and stomped. Yes it was a crazy life they lived, but they loved it it had big rewards in the end. He looked over at the girl seeing the shivering was starting to stop now."oh bane also I do think you should take him hurting tommrow night I do believe your hunting bears tommrow" Alucard muses. Alex was about to faint .

Bane smiled darkly and said "I am...but I;m using bait...should he be the bait my lord?" He looked at Avery then stopped smiling, his eyes telling him something was wrong. He walked over to her and rested a hand on her neck, sniffing her. "Boss, forget the brat for a moemnt...her heart is skipping beats. Wait..." HE looked at Alex and growled. "You knew she is Claustrophobic, didn't you? It wasn't enough to freeze her to death you had to put her thru her worst nightmare too?" He moved the soup and looked inot her eyes. "The cold plus Claustrophobia...boss this is bad...really bad" He looked at Alex again and said "Maybe I'll hunt you instead you little son of a..." Avery suddenly fell forward, her eyes closing.

"Why the hell are you sniffing everyone you creepy brute" snapped Alex, Alucard whirled around grabbing the boy by the throat "you should be so lucky that I even allowing you to live" he then dropped him and shot over to the girl "shit shit shit whT now " he whined, thinking of the worst thing ever he might have to do.......bite her....or even worse change her. He shuddered slightly and looked at Bane "what to do?" He said he wasn't a medical man he was a warrior who decided killing people was not his thing.

Bane caught her and lowered her to the ground, his ear on her chest to listen to her heart. "Boss...I'm sorry to ask this of you...but you might have to use that mental thing you do...we have to get her calm down...and her brain is too cold to do it on her own...she jsut needs to relax her breathing...its the panic of her fear that started the attack. You need to end the attack before she has a heart attack" He siad this to him quietly so Alex wouldn't hear him, looking his boss in the eyes. "I'll handle the punk till your done...I know you can do this." He stood up and looked at Alex, his face now more scary then when he was pretending to be. "Your coming with me, maggot...I have a few friends to introduce you too...and they haven't been fed yet..." He grabbed him and dragged him out of the kitchen, leaving his master and the girl alone.

Alucard closed his eyes and connected his and her mind together and saw what she was panicking about and started to sloth the pain and fear from her mind causing her to become much more calm. He after about ten minutes stopped and staggered back slightly holding his head, this was easier years ago then right now. He looked over at her as her breathing was back to normal and he helped her up and out her in the chair gently.

Alex yelled in protest and kicked and screamed wanting to get free from bane "let me go" he yelled angrily and grumbled as he was dragged intoa. Smaller room, three large dogs the size of bears lifted their heads looking over at the male their fangs bared slightly. They got up though chained so they couldn't get the boy.

Bane dropped him infront of the dogs and said "These are my pack brothers...meet Fang, Claw and Talon...the boss has bigger fancy names but those are my names for them...why don;t you spend the rest of the night in here and then you will understand what you put Ms. Shade thru..." He shut the door and locked it, nodding. "That will do it.." He walked back in in time to see Alucard stumble back and he caught him. "I take it it worked? You alright?" Avery was breathing even now, asleep thanks to Alucard.
