Castle of Dracula -

Libary -

Bedrooms

Dracula's Room -

The Most beloved Bedtime Story of the time was Dracula at the orphanage, The vampire king that was believed to be dead now, but far off in the castle of Dracula there stood on the balcony was a man wearing black cape with golden trim on it. his bat sat on his shoulder, calmly he stroked the bats head. He hears his guard of the castle a beloved friend of his when he came back to life. Dracula walked into the castle where the Nurse greeted him as she was head of the household working staff she was in charge of the maids and all,

“sir Delphia is sick and so is her son she asks for a day off today” she said slowly to the count. Dracula looked at her slowly and nodded to the girl,

“then it shall be allowed, But warn her that i expect her to work hard the next day” he said slowly walking past. the head of the castle gulps but nodded her head slowly to the count.

“as you wish my lord” she said respectfully and looked back to the maids “come on up up up” she said waking up the maids to start the day’s work. Dracula walked down the long hallways of the castle, he smiles to himself and the others that were up and running. he went to the kitchen and thinks out loud “what if i adopted a kid” he mutters to himself. The head maid blinked over at him ask she cooked some sausage with blood.

“Count you are not the father figure well thats my words” she said slowly. dracula glares at her,

“I could be mary I really could be all I have to do if be given a chance to do that, I mean I saved werewolf asses all last winter from the cold and I got myself slashed across the chest by the Alpha because the pup kept biting my ankle and I pulled him off.” He said slowly, leaning back in his chair as he was given his food, he sighed and eats slowly.

“Come on Mary give me at least a shot, I promise I won’t let her get into trouble” Dracula said slowly, the Head maid sighed watching the count eat and thinks.

“Very well go off to the orphanage and find yourself a kid” she said slowly, she watched the count give a happy smile and she sighed gently. she was nothing more than a maid and a mother to the count since he came back to the castle. She was a older mortal witch but still limber and youthful looking. she smiles gently as she watched him run off slowly. Mary sighed and smiles as her cat came over and mews gently to her as well as her house ran onto her shoulder.

Dracula grinned happily as he came to the door before he was stopped by his trusted guard, he turned around to face him slowly his midnight black hair blowing gently in the breeze of the shadows of the night. Dracula had not been in the the real world sicne he came back so many years ago and loved to go out there and see what the world is like, his castle was still a landmark people feared to get near after eighty years ago there was said to be a vampire attack there and people stayed away. Dracula was never seen again since time could tell, he was dead, a myth a legend a story they tell their kids. That was all about to change, with a girl getting adopted by the legend himself. Dracula was not always a father figure but people of his castle knew that he deep down was a deeply loving and careing person that just wanted to make a mends with the world but was scared of showing himself in fear of anger and getting hunted all over again.

Mary walked over slowly looking at the guard "why don't you go with Count Dracula?, Hmm maybe you can help him change his name a bit" She muses as he raven cawed at them.

Jasper looked at Mary and thought about what she had said for him to do, tilting his head, much like a curious dog would do, his companion Beast had told him he had a visitor. He had been training in the room. Dracula never thought to do something like this before. "He wants to go to the mortals?" He asked confused. The infamous man wouldn't last more than a few minutes if he went in his normal attire. He should go with the immortal if he was planing on doing something silly like that. He pulls on his shirt to straighten it, looking for the word, normal for today's age. He didn't like unnecessary things getting in his way when he trained or fought. Much more relying on his quick instincts, and quicker senses. "Why would he do that?" He asked curiously. But then he grinned as if it didn't matter, which to the sometimes childish man, it didn't. He was finally once more getting out in the world, and really what more could he ask for?

Amelia stood in the kitchen of the orphanage a book that she's probably read more times than she could count laying on the counter, the pages bent and unbent several different times as she worked on getting food for all the kids who ran around giggling, making her smile a little in return. They knew how hard life was, being all alone in this world, but they could still play and laugh like the children they were. And she wished she could still have that. It was one of the reasons she escaped so often into the few books that the poor little orphanage had. It wasn't destitute, which was a blessing, but very little else was. Very few people knew about this place and sometimes a lucky child got adopted. But that didn't happen often, and she was now old enough to be the 'second mother'. The first mother was almost thirty, and a cousin of the man who owned the building that housed all these parent-less kids. She even joined that group. It had been when she was real little but she couldn't really remember it, so that had also been a blessing. She rubs at her sleepy eyes. She had barely got enough sleep that morning. She had, of course, stayed up until way early in the morning, reading her second favorite vampire story. She had no idea why she was so fascinated by the idea of a creature that could drain a person dry, but she supposed she had a romantic heart.
She reached down and pet her grey cat, that she had found two years ago near starvation and had been taking care of ever since. Amy called the cat 'Puxa' the Russian word for "fluffy".

{For reference when is this story taking place? Modern or medieval?}

Dracula glares at him slightly and rolled his eyes "yes I want to go to the mortal realm" he grunted as he snapped his fingers as his own attire changed into regular clothing. The count wasn't dumb. Gabriel walked toward the door and out of the house humming to himself. He came to the car they owned and smiled gently getting inside waiting for jasper to get in as well. When the werewolf was in the count drove off to the town below them. They after about forty minutes came to the town and smiling gently got out of the parked car.

Dracula knew of a name he could be called and smiled as he walked into the orphnage and said "Hi I'm looking for a teenager to Adopt" he said smiling, his red eyes flashing in the sunlight of the room, vampire myths where wrong about the sun. His white hair dazzled in the sunlight.

Leona, the first mother of the orphanage, had seen the door open revealing a young man who asked to adopt a teenager, and looks at the man curiously. He didn't look any older than a teenager himself. Maybe just getting into the twenties, but that was as far as her imagination would stretch, a ginger eyebrow raised. She was ginger with blue eyes, and wore her years good, keeping a good form. She thought about it for a few moments. "You don't look any older than a teenager yourself, if you will pardon my sayin' so sir. But I suppose if that's what you will need, I'm afraid only one has stayed in this orphanage. And it's almost breakfast. Come inside, get yourself comfortable. Amelia'll be right out. Did you already eat sirs?" She asks.

"This one did, I was doing something else at the time. If it isn't too much trouble I would like some food." Jasper said motioning to Dracula with a grin having gotten excited for being in town for the first time in a long while. He knew that the vampire was a whole lot more intelligent, but he still felt like he should give some warning. "You might want to change your name. Not that you probably haven't already thought of everything before." He said softly as the woman walked through the house, showing them where breakfast would be served. He turned with quick reflexes and steadied a young girl before she tripped and scraped her knee. The woman should check that floor board. "Easy does it, and be certain to notice your surroundings more." He said taking on a teaching tone that was automatic to the guard. But it was softer than usual since he was just talking to a child.

Leona went to the kitchen hearing the response watching as Amelia double tasked. She was cooking and reading at the same time, her movements in keeping the food well cooked, as automatic to the girl as breathing now. Amelia had taken the role of the cook when the original had been offered a position in a cafe, so many years ago. She bent down to the affectionate cat and pets her ears, Puxa purring loudly. "We have guests. One would like something as he hadn't eaten yet. And the other gentleman is asking to adopt you." That brought Amy's attention to Leona. The blue-grey hue eyes had a curious light to them that asked 'why?' and Leona could only slightly shrug. If anything it would do that man a bit of good to adopt a child than a teenager, pretty much his own age, but she wasn't about to argue with a potential parent.
"That's....odd. I never met someone who wanted to adopt a teenager." And neither had Leona in all her years training to be a good role model/mother for these kids. "Why does he want me?"
"That's my question to be honest. Looks no older than you."
"He really should then adopt a child. It doesn't really seem fair to them that I leave and they stay." Amelia said with a frown.
"Well, who am I to argue with someone that wants to adopt? And I don't want you to stay here if that's not what you wish to do Amelia. You should go. You're trapped here, and the only way you escape is with those novels you love so much. So take the offer. I can get the children to accept your leaving." Leona says softly placing a hand onto Amy's shoulders and placing a small kiss on the teenager's head. She had grown to love this girl as a daughter, and knew just how much she wanted to leave even if she just gave herself excuses to stay.
