Gala nodded and picked it up, she took a bite out of it and set it down. It tasted delicious, although it felt a little weird after she swallowed it she knew it would take time to get used to all the delicacies of this planet. She then tried some of the fries and she enjoyed them too. She quickly ate the food finishing it quicker then humans would eat. Her planet was kind of known for eating a lot of food in short periods of time, they all had extremely high metabolisms so it never affected them much. "Thank you for the food. It was quite delicious. I have never had anything like it, although it is weird that they would put a fruit on something like this although it tasted perfect with it." Gala said smiling softly at Jason.

"Well the tomato is a relatively weird fruit. It's pretty much treated like a vegetable. But for some odd reason... It isn't..." Jason laughed a little bit as he leaned back in his seat. "So is there anything you want to do next? Or would you wanna go back and rest now that you've had some food?" He asked calmly having fairly accomplished his job of showing her around a bit and getting her some food.

Gala shrugged. "I'm ok with whatever you decide you want to do." She said honestly. Gala had enjoyed going out and doing this, it had distracted her from the bad things in her life.

Jason thought for a moment. "Alright. Let me show you something." He said as he got up and threw out any trash that may have been left. "Follow me." He said as he started heading out.

Jason led her to a dark alley and looked around. "Alright..." He quickly transformed and began to fly up motioning for her to follow.

Jason led Gala to a beach far away from the city. Away from the lights and noise. "Right. Check it out." He said as he came in for a landing. Give it a minute." He said as the night sky came into full view, the moon just over the ocean and the stars coming out. "It's a view you can't get in the city."

Gala smiled as she landed and looked up at the stars. She knew all the stars by name thanks to her powers. She was connected with the universe. Even if it was barely a connection and she wasn't in control she still knew about how everything worked. She zoned out staring at the sky thinking about a lot of things but mostly her family and her planet. A single tear rolled down her cheek but she wiped it away quickly hoping it went unseen as she stared at the stars.

"Relax. Let it all go." Jason said calmly as he put an arm around Gala. "I'm a hero of Earth, but I'm a green Lantern first. I know it must all be strange and you might have a bunch of your own problems. Being cheerful and happy is all well and good, but every once and a while you should relax. Shut everything out and let your emotions, your inner turmoil just go for a bit." He said calmly. He hadn't noticed the tear, but he kind of felt she might need this. Of course, it was a big gamble based on the assumption of how she felt because she was an extra terrestrial being not from Earth. it could have gone either way really.

Gala felt her eyes water again as she spotted the star representing her planet. The stars glow basically represented her life. If it glowed she was still alive, if it didn't it meant she was dead. Her and her planet were one. The only things left behind of her past life. That's when her tears started to flow freely. Her parents, friends, neighbors, teachers, warriors, the people of her planet... all of them were dead. All died, many of who died to get her safely off her planet. This had all happened not to long ago but she had been ignoring the pain of her loss for too long. It all decided to hit her now that she finally felt safe for the first time in a long time. Gala began to sob putting her face in her hands as her small form shook. The star of her planet glowed brighter as her connection strengthened as she thought about where she was from. It also glowed a more blue color to show her sorrow. No one would probably notice unless they were very observant of the stars and could make the connection between her and the star.

Jason wouldn't dig any deeper. This alone was progress. Though he did seem to notice the star and her. This was likely only because he was a lantern. After a little while though he smiled and turned to her. "If you want we can stay here a little longer, We'll leave only when you're ready." He said okay.

Gla calmed herself down and turned to him with a slight smile. "I think I'm ready now." She said standing up and brushing herself off. "Lead the way." She told him.

(Shhhhhhh... It's hard to keep track of every character.) Nate laughed a little. "Ow... Come on... Enough with the pain miss angry." He said as he looked up at her. "Stop forgetting that I'm wounded already." He laughed as he laid his head back. "Anyway... I've gotta help you with your work ya know."
