After nearly an hour of searching Cerulean city and the nearby routes with no results, Rosina and her pokemon met up on the cerulean bridge.

"Azul, Drift, did you find her?" Rosina asked them. They both looked sad and said nothing. Rosina knew what that meant.

"No...she cant be gone..." she said raising a hand to her mouth. She sat on the ground and tried to resist the urge to cry like a baby, but couldn't. She hugged her knees and started sobbing.

"This is all my fault. I...i shouldn't have made hdr battle. Maybe she wasent ready...i'm the worst trainer ever." she wailed as Azul and Drift moved closer to comfort her. Rosina kept crying until a few trainers came to see if she was okay. Waving them away, she stayed quiet until she felt a light tug on her hair.

"Pachi?"

Rosina's head snapped up and she turned around, seeing her little Pachirisu smiling at her.

"Pachirisu!" she squealed, pulling her into a hug. "Where did you go? I was so scared, i thought i lost you." Rosina pzused, noticing her cheeks were full. "Whatcha got there?" she asked and the pokemon spit out two persim berries onto her hands. Kinda grossed out, she giggled then laughed out loud.

"You are so smart, you know that?"

"Pachi!"

"C'mon. Lets go take down Misty." Rosina said, making a fist. "This time, we wont lose!"

Erin sat outside the pokecenter, he didn't need a heal or anything just a breather, something in his mind had clicked when he was face to face with the girl in her swim suit. Maybe that was it he never saw a girl dress like that it was... impure, I mean rosia wore those short shorts but they were easy and comfortable to wear what she had on was just awkward how could she stand it. As machop patted him on the back rather hard as he was a bit angry at his trainer, rattata pointed out Rosia hoping she would know what to do. Erin sighed as he noticed the little rat and hunkered down to as low as possible. He was ashamed of his weakness, there were bound to be other girls out there that dress like that or what if... what if rosia decides to swim, it seemed impure. After stuffing his bleeding nose. Erin went back to training but was stopped by a man who had stopped him to give the gold nugget. He grabbed the boys shirt and mumbled somethings before throwing him down and saying something about a 'team rocket' and walking away. With a shrug Erin kept back at the oddish that mankey was throwing.

James and his luxray went around the city getting the items that he felt his team would need in the coming days. He checked that he still had his 2 remaining master balls. They had come at a high price but he had a ton of money. He left the city and looked directly at cerulian cave and then said " mewtwo I will be coming to catch you but now may not be the time for me to do it." He then turned and walked back into the city. He pulled out a slip of paper that his friend and rival trainer Red had given him. Red never talked to anyone anymore. Something had happened to him after he moved to mt. Silver. James read the paper. " hey James I need you to look into things in Kanto. I know I should be the one to do it but I have been called of to another region called Orre. I hear that team rocket may be trying to start something big in the kanto region. This is where you come in. I want you to try and find out what is going on and if need be put a stop to it. I know that you have what it takes to take them on all by yourself. If you do need help though you could always ask lance." James smiled and stuffed the paper back into his pocket. He then walked around the city a bit more waiting for those other trainers to finish in the gym. He had a hard time with misty himself but he knew they would win eventually. He sighed and went to the city fountain. He sat down on one of the benches and then let out his lucario and his garchomp so they could relax for a bit. He reached into his bag and pulled out the egg that he had gotten after leaving his blastoise in the daycare with a bloody ditto.

It was Carter's turn against Misty now, and he nodded to his two Pokemon. "Okay you guys. Are you ready to beat Misty? She'll be stronger than anyone we've faced so far."

They both seemed excited, and Tynamo literally was sparking. They entered the gym together. Misty's gym trainers were a piece of cake, and Carter stepped confidently, forward.

"Another challenger? Okay, but I'll warn you, Water-type Pokemon are my specialty!" She smirked and unclipped a Pokeball from her swimsuit, tossing it to the water. "Staryu! You're up!"

"Teddiursa, let's go!" Carter shouted.

"Staryu, Rapid Spin!"

"Teddiursa, Faint attack!"

The starfish Pokemon spun until it was a blur, then launched itself at Teddiursa. Teddiursa dodged and appeared behind Staryu with Faint Attack, smacking it to the floor.

"Good! Now use Fury Swipes!" Teddiursa leapt forward and slashed at the Staryu. "Yeah! Teddiursa, you're doing great!"

"Water gun, Staryu!" The starfish sprayed a jet of water at Teddiursa, which sent him flying back towards Carter. "Teddiursa, Scratch!" The small bear jumped over the water spout, scratching the Water-type across it's central jewel. It fell backwards into the water, knocked out. Misty called him back, and sent out it's evolved form, Starmie!

"Faint Attack!" Teddiursa went in for a Faint Attack, but Misty's Starmie was too fast. "Bubblebeam! Slow it down!" Bubbles shot out and slammed into Teddiursa, forcing the small bear to protect itself. "Now, use Aurora Beam!" Shining light slammed into Teddiursa and knocked him into the air. Carter rushed forward and caught him. "Teddiursa, that's enough. You did great!"

A red beam of light swallowed Teddiursa back into it's Pokeball, and Carter grabbed Tynamo's Dusk Ball. "Let's finish them, Tynamo!"

"Ty! Ty!" The little eel buzzed and snapped with power. "Charge Beam on that Starmie, Tynamo!" Carter said, pointing. The little silver fish obeyed, building up watts, then firing.

"Starmie! Rapid Spin!" The purple starfish spun, much like Staryu, and the electricity was deflected away. "Thunder Wave, Tynamo!" Carter said, a plan forming quickly.

Tynamo shot paralyzing electricity, and it struck Starmie as it came out of it's spin. "Great job! Now use Charge Beam!" Little Tynamo charged up again, blasting a beam of electric power at Misty's Starmie.

"Starmie, hurry and spin!" The Pokemon tried, but was paralyzed by Thunder Wave. It was struck, and slammed against the back wall.

"Tynamo! Finish it with Discharge!" Tynamo took the pent up energy from two charge beams and unleashed it on Starmie, leaving it laying on the floor, out cold.

"Starmie!" Misty went to her Pokemon, checking to see if it was okay. Seeing that the Pokemon was knocked out, she frowned. "Well, you win. Congratulations." She said, returning Starmie. This is the Cascade Badge. And take this. It's Water Pulse. I didn't even get a chance to use it in battle, so you'll have to learn it's usefulness yourself.

Carter took both and cheered, Tynamo smiling and swimming in circles in the air. "Nice work, buddy!" Carter said, hugging his Pokemon.

After the battle, Carter headed back to the Fountain in the center of town, his badge tucked away in a case in his bag. Teddiursa and Tynamo had both been to the Pokemon Center, and now it was time to relax.

Erin placed his Pokemon at the desk of the pokecenter as the pink haired lady took them to heal, giving him a mean stare before walking away, she wasn't pleased by the amount he refused to talk, he wasn't in the best mood after the men in black suits with the r's printed on attacked him, there rattata's and zubats were nothing and they didn't work to well together. As he looked around he noticed carter and slicked his blue hair down over his eyes to make sure they did not see him. He had to beat misty sooner or later but he couldn't get over the strange feeling in his gut and the feeling that peanut butter in his mouth even when there wasn't. It didn't even taste good. Maybe if he used mankey he could have it fight how it wanted like the monkey always did. But what if he didn't win? machop needed to be in sinc with him and rattata needed the support of a crowd. Thought he had used mankey's new move: rage to take on all of the team rocket it was probably strong. With a new plan forming in his head erin began to think less about the swim suit and more about winning and was soon back to his flashy self, ready to take on the world.

While the others were taking on misty James had been looking around for clues as to what team rocket was up to. He eventually cornered a grunt and after a quick battle had gotten no new info. He tuned to leave when the grunt hit him over the head with a metal bar. He fell to the ground and almost passed out. The grunt went about taking his pokeballs from his belt. James felt this and let out his garchomp who's ball he was holding. The pokemon roared and the rocket grunt dropped his pokemon and ran away. James got up and grabbed his pokeballs and then walked back to the pokecenter and lay down to get a rest. When he woke it was an hour later and he was pissed with a massive head ache. He stood up and stormed out of the pokemon center.

Erin kicked open the door, the other trainer's in misty's gym looked at him and laugh only to freak out when they saw mankey with a face that told them they were going to be beaten to death. Instantly they threw there pokeballs, one at a time of course, only to be beaten before a move could be made other than a few water guns, which only made Maney's rage move even stronger. As the crew stepped up to misty erin looked away from the girl and she chuckled when she realized what this meant and sent her staryu at the mankey with a quick, double edge attack. Mankey hit the water but jumped up and began to throw what seemed like endless punches at the center crystal but missed most of the time only to be hit with a blast of water and knocked down. Again and again this happened as erin seemed to shy to speak. The pig monkey looked at his trainer in pain as he was worried about what happened to his determination, only to see a wolfish grin appear on the boy's face as the staryu came down for a final tackle.

"now seismic toss" he said with conviction and pointing at the girl who thought the match was over so easily.

The Pokemon grabbed the edge of the star fish and flung it at the wall smashing a whole. Misty yelled at him about how that was a cheap move and that he would need to pay for that but erin just nodded and looked back at the mankey who as laying on the ground, erin hadn't realized but his master plan really hurt the guy. "alright return mankey" he said before letting rattata go. The girl in the swim suit threw out a starmie and gave the boy a grin, as she knew that the pokemon was stronger that the last one. Instantly they both when for a quick attack and despite hitting the center crystal rattata was flung back into the water where staryu jumped in as well. After thinking hard erin yelled for rattata to get out only to see it flung in the air from a water pulse. Rattata slammed into the ground but jumped up hearing the cheers of the machop in the background. Looking at the Staryu and using hyper fang before Erin could even call out a move and following up with a bite but is thrown into the dent into the wall were the other staryu was thrown. Water pulse was getting to the rattata but it managed to smash into staryu before it used confusion and Erin pulled the rodent away and forced machop to go.

"now low sweep" he said doing the move as his pokemon did, throwing the starmie to the ground. BEfore it could fully get up Machop and it's trainer threw a karate chop. smashing the starmie down. Erin smiled when machop grabbed the pokemon and threw it with seismic toss. Quickly the starmie shot a water pulse and used confusion but machop ate a persim berry and threw a push at the starmie. Retaliating the starmie used double edge but was throw back with a counter and passed out. Erin grabbed the machop and hugged him and spun around before looking to misty who was smiling at his and threw him a badge before yelling for him to get out. Erin ran before she yelled about the wall. He noticed that she wave him a disc as well. Walking to the pokecenter Erin was ready to brag about his new badge.
