Also, with it being E6 does that mean feats with requirements like BAB 8 can't ever be taken?
Or will there be a house rule in place to still be able to take these feats?

Still starting at 1st level as I understand it so the best will be BAB 1

There is a way, as a fighter leveled 6.
Here is the main set of rules for E6, with accompanying homebrewed feats to fit the themes. The fighter one lets you take feats with requirements for BAB 8 or fighter level 8

I have a character that I might be interested in playing, although filling out the free +5 LA may take me a bit. If I play, could I apply the free +5 LA stuff at a later time, and gain retroactively any skill points from an increase to intelligence as if I possessed the templates from the beginning?

just take the time now to fill it in
it'll be a lot less trouble than making it up later, adjusting everything you had before the free LA was used

Any idea's on what characters others are making?

I have the problem of "I like this... and this! and this! I can't decide" so I've decided it's best to simply fill in needs that other players don't have covered.

I'm currently a bard (considering beguiler) focusing on Charisma. Goal is to be a support character making everyone else awesome.

Also I'm unsure what the status is on this atm. Omega, are you still going to run this?

Atm I'm currently debating between.

1. Really small/agile guy that flys around and beats the shit out of things

or

2. Thri-Kreen 4-wielder bad ass.

But the list will probably grow with time.

I'm planning on being a hlaf-elf swashbuckler though.

Lycanthrope comes with HD which basically act's as character levels instead of class levels.
So say Fighter 1/Lycanthope 4 is the same as Fighter 5 for example.

Yes

As I have the interest for it I will be making the OOC in a bit now.

Racial HD will be judged on a case by case basis as will many things due to the somewhat different nature of this campaign.

I want to give this a try, but the only closest experience to this would be from the pc games(Icewind Dale, Baldur's Gate). So for the rules and such, I'm pretty much lost.
