You! Yes, you… You were chosen, chosen to bring about a end to this the wretched evil that has racked this realm. Can you take up arms and magic to fight for what is right? Or will you turn away and spite the gift that is offered, or perhaps you will squander it for personal gain. Do not turn away now. Xenon is in terrible need of you. Those that wish to join us will become legends among the men and women of this world.

This will be taking place in a original Final Fantasy universe. The beginning city will be called Xenon and you will be playing the main characters of this story (That’s right for once you will all be equal heroes in a epic. No one to steal thunder from you, everyone will be equally important and all of you will be more important than any other character in the RP NPCwise.) You will face many dangers and choices. What will you do?

Alright, so, as the title and the introduction say, this is an original world Final Fantasy RP, which is my brainchild with just as much contribution by FallenMuse. The players will be moving through an original story with the general settings of the Final Fantasy series, and hopefully we're going to have a lot of fun with it.

The story takes place on a floating island chain, primarily in the city of Xenon and the neighboring village of Miris. Xenon is separated into 5 smaller 'cities', Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Omega.

Alpha is the residential district, Beta is the Commercial district, Gamma is the Industrial district, as well as the location of the city slums, Delta is the Entertainment district, and Omega is the Administrative district, home of the government, police, army, et cetra. Miris is a farming village under the general protection of Xenon. Alpha is further segmented into an upper, middle, and lower class area.

I'm not sure what else to say that hasn't already been said, but I do have a skeleton for character building here:

Jarek is the only male sorcerer born in his clan. In his clan, the Kramers, only one male Sorcerer is born every one thousand years. At least a handful of these elusive, immortal sorcerers are still alive from thousands of years ago. Jarek is obsessed with honing his natural born, uniquely innate magical powers as much as he can. Typically his clan are female sorcerers, sorceresses, in other words, and their husbands, lovers, sons, and fathers. The clan borders on matriarchal rule, but while females typically "rule the roost", any thing that encourages prejudices against men, or suggest men only be subservient are merely guidelines and not rules.

As the lucky male born to be a sorcerer in his clan, and thus the leader of his entire clan, he has the pick of any and ALL women he chooses throughout his romantic interests and sexual conquests with no limit on his decisions. However, Jarek is torn between different interests. He IS obsessed with earning greater power so he can finally discover the secret of immortality that his male ancestors possessed. He is also obsessed with his sex drive, and. he. has. no. self. control. However, even his sex drive is less potent than his deep seeded longing for vengeance against the man, or woman who framed him for the murder and dark magic of many innocent people, and thus removed him from his throne.

To further complicate the matter, his obsession with earning magical powers make it difficult for him to produce children. He was married to his first wife at age sixteen and he loved her, his beloved Katrina. Katrina gave birth to five children. Their children, Emilia, Aya, Irena, and Grigori were all extremely blessed children. Emilia, and her sisters were all gifted sorceresses. Grigori is something of a great mystery to the entire clan, and he's practically a very hush hush secret to the outside world, except for a handful of important individuals who are tasked with secret duties dealing with espionage, the black market, criminal investigations and the like. You see, Grigori is an extremely gifted sorcerer, and the first male sorcerer born in the Kramer line. Nothing so dramatic has happened in the entire history of their territory.

On Jarek's twenty second birthday, his three daughters were found dead of unknown causes, and his wife died giving birth to a baby, who was born dead. He has had trouble forming emotional bonds over friendship and respect to the opposite sex because of this, and is more of a party animal with the women than a quality family man. Technically speaking the Kramer family and the other clans derive originally from Delta, which sort of explains their liase' fair attitude about life. Soon, after the deaths of his wife and children, he attempted to medicate his emotional state with growing the relationship with his son, Grigori. Grigori and Jarek had grown close, but Jarek's attitude about women had begun to grate on Grigori's nerves, specifically by the time he remarried another woman just for her appearance.

Recently, Jarek has been framed for experimenting on his second wife, Rose, and the children she had produced before her marriage with him. He had also been accused of experimenting on animals and other people, most prominently women. He has managed to receive legal help from the Omega district to over ride his Clan's laws against him for the crimes he didn't commit, and has had his sentence of death and forced abdication to exile outside the traveling Kramer Clan's government and territory.

The entire experience of being framed as a serial killer and illegal experimenter on other people and animals, has taken a toll on Jarek's mind. He misses his son Grigori, who he is forbidden from seeing by the laws of the clan. Grigori should take over as the new leader by the time he is sixteen, but that is four years from now. Jarek's mind is obsessed equally with revenge on whoever he finds did this to him, as it is in gaining power.

It looks pretty good. I'm not sure about some of the things in the history like the clan etc, Cause i'm not sure if Blaze has plans for social structures/cultures/ruling families in the different sectors. So we'll have to see what he says. Otherwise it looks good. Though.there could be some other issues that may come up. There will probably have to be some discussion between myself and Blaze on things like your sorcerer stuff. you have gotten already. K?

Yeah, it's okay. Basically the idea is that his Clans are inspired by the Gypsies of Europe. :D
Since there are um, five or six cities, I was wondering if there was a Sorcerer Clan from each city, with the Kramers being the highest clan, although the other one are autonomous. The idea is that these people are technically independent, but ultimately beholden to the Government, like Native American Reservations. :D

Not much to be said about the man, he works like a horse every day in the bowls of the industrial areas and collapses onto a pile of rags to sleep at night in a hovel barely bigger than a closet. When he has any free time he will put his face on the line for any manner of arena fight to pull some extra money together. He was born and raised to die in the bottom of the slums by falling in a fight or until the day his body gives out.

History: Annabel was born in Miris to a long line of Chocobo breeders. People would say the Ro'ni family had chocobo blood coursing through their veins. That didn't exclude Annabel. She took to caring for chocobo faster than bamboo could grow. Even her family considered her a prodigy.
After her parents died when she was 16, it was up to Annabel to take on the responsibilities of not only raising chocobo, but of raising her baby sister Elizabeth. Elizabeth doesn't take to caring for the birds as well as Annabel did and spends most of her time causing trouble.
Usually growing her own Gysahl greens, Annabel sometimes purchases them from other farms when her stock runs low or her own crop fails.

Personality:
Fuyuto is a quiet person, who supports his comrades in the shadows. He prefers to only speak when necessary, but is very friendly and kind. Although he is often seen as a little intimidating and cool, he actually is a little clumsy from time to time. Fuyuto is embarrassed by this, and always attempts to make it look like he meant it.

History:
Fuyuto is from Miris, the farming village. He was left alone to live with his grandfather ever since he could remember. His grandfather had told him about his parents dying from an unknown illness. However, he was happy in Miris. He helped the other farms, who would give them some of their produce to bring home. His grandfather was one of the wiseman of Miris. He had many stories to tell, including those of Espers. Fuyuto was inspired to be a legend, and sort for adventure. By the time he had turned 16, he decided he would leave his village and went to live on his own in the lower class of Alpha, to work to become enlisted in the army.

(I am making an assumption that stories of Espers are told like fairy tales and legends, as well as that the army is either good, or at least appear good to the public.)
