[IC] Untold Truths

Luna shuddered when she felt his hand on her. Then he pulled her into a hug. Her body seemed to begin relaxing against him. It was instinct. Her heart slowed as she slowly got her head about her. Her head went against his chest as her arms went around him. "Yes I have forgiven you. I could never hold it against you." Her words were soft and harsh. It was hard for her to say but it was the truth. She had been fine until he showed up. Now she was a wreck. She wanted to keep her heart guarded.

Jack just stood there for a second holding her. "I'll never. Never leave you again. I could not take it a second time. "He admitted. He doubted he could. "I…" He stopped himself. He was going to say he loved her bit it was too soon. He stood there holding her.

Luna would not have been able to bear it if he would have said he loved her. But she was relaxed now in his arms. The silence was getting to her. "I will get in the car now." She untangled herself from his arms. She began walking back to the car her hands resting on her thighs. They were shaking slightly. When she got to the car she slipped into it feeling much better.

He followed behind her and got in the car. He put the keys in and started driving once she had gotten in. He remembered where she use to live. "You still live in the same place right?" He said looking at her. He watched the road and took glances at her.

Luna sighed softly as she leaned her head back against the seat. "Yes I do." She had a sinking feeling in her gut. Something was wrong about the night it was almost to quite. It was never this peaceful in her life. Her eyes narrowed as she looked out the window. She saw a flash and swore. A very large wolf jumped onto the roof of the car bending it down.

Jack was softly humming some random tune when he smelled it. Another werewolf. He knew it was. It took one to know one. It had to be after him. Being a new one in the area. He stooped the car. He had to fight it but no seem to know what it was. "What the hell?! I'll get rid of it. You stay in here Luna. " He said quickly getting out. He turned and glared at the wolf. His stance said he would fight it should need be. He figured the werewolf could smell he was an Alpha. He was just ready.

Luna tilted her head to the side watching him get out. She couldn't let him get hurt. This was a werewolf and he was only human. She got out of the car quickly and looked at the large creature on top of her car. It was staring at Jack not making a move. Her brows drew together as she watched them. The wolf looked away in submission and finally ran off away from them.

Well that had not gone according to plan. Luna was not suppose to see that. She was not dumb. Course he had hope she had no idea what it was. A guy could hope. It clearly had known he was an Alpha. It would have attacked him if not. He looked at her and smiled weakly. "That was scary. Really scary. What the heck was that?!" He asked. He was not the best liar. He clearly knew what it was. He got back in and waited for her to get in. Once she did he would drive again.

Luna tilted her head to the side when he lied to her. It was clear he knew something about the werewolf. However she would not mention it at the moment. He may be able to tell that she knew something as well. She tried to look utterly terrified but it was hard to when she had been seeing these things for so long. She got into the car and let him drive off. "I think we both know it was not normal."

Her Attitude was odd. He had nearly fainted when he seen the first one. If she seemed okay then she knew something about werewolves. She was not one. He could smell them in human form. "That was not normal! I was so scared but it was scared of me for some reason! I have no idea why. " Maybe it was because he was one of them. "Are you okay? I was trying to scare it away so it would not hurt you. " He said laughing slightly. "I always had too much courage. "

Luna looked over at him as he spoke. "Perhaps the creature was scared of a smarter being. Thank you for trying but I can handle myself as well." She said this trying to sound drunker than she was. She might be able to get him to think that she was simply to drunk to process much. She pointed to the house and smiled when he finally turned into the drive. "Thank you for taking me home. I am not sure how your going to get back to your car. I suppose you can stay if you want then we can get your car in the morning."

He knew why it had run. It was honestly scared of him. He just nodded at what she said.
Jack figured he would have to spend the night. Not like that! No just with him on the couch. He smiled as he parked the car. He laughed slightly. "Yah. Can I just sleep on your couch? I would run to go get my car but that thing could be out there. " He said faking being worried. He got out and waited by the front door. His eyes scanned the woods for the eyes of the werewolf.

Luna stretched and walked up to the door. She put her keys into the lock and turned the deadbolt. The door swung open into darkness. She went in quickly and began picking up the weapons she had strewn across her house. She kept silver bullets in a cabinet and iron in another. She had this all picked up and shoved in her room before he came in. She picked up a pillow and a blanket to throw on the couch. "Yes you can sleep on the couch. That was my intention. If you are hungry feel free to raid my fridge. But I need to shower and brush my teeth." She made a face running her tongue over her teeth.

Jack watched her go in. He had no idea what she was doing in there but it was not his problem. She was hiding something from him. He as curious. Maybe she was one too? He just could not sense it? That would be great. To be able to confide in her about what he was. No. Not yet. He was going to need her soon. Just not yet. He smiled. "I owe you for this. Anything you want I give it." He said smiling as he walked over to the couch. There was no way he was sleeping in this shirt. Way too tight. Honestly he did not care what she saw. He pulled his shirt over his head and put the shirt on the side of the couch. Since that was all he was wearing on top this could get awkward. He turned to her looking worried. "Oh I'll put it back on if you want me to. This is just how I prefere to sleep.' He said looking down.

His words made her raise a brow but she nodded to show she had heard him. "I will keep that in mind." She turned away from him to go into the kitchen just off of the living room. She was grabbing some Asprin to calm her starting headache. When she came back she stopped dead. Her face went bright red at the sight of his chest. She turned away with her hand cupped over her eyes. She appreciated the sight of his chest but it was something she should not want. "No it's fine I just didn't expect it. I'll just head to my room." She put a hand out trying to feel her way out but managed to hit the couch. She swore and took her hand away only to blush again. She smiled sheepishly and pointed to room before moving towards it.

Jack looked confused. She seemed flustered. He figured it was him. She was attracted. Nice. "Goodnight." He said as she walked out. He lay down on the couch and looked up. He could smell her around around him. He remember this smell. Heck it kept him human. Someday he would confess to her about what he was. What would she do? Think he was a monster? Worse try and find a way to kill him? No he would wait to tell her.

He fell asleep almost instantly. It was a gift really.

Luna fell into bed after closing the door behind her in her exit. She was attracted to him but it was not something she would freely admit to. She gazed up at the ceiling for a few hours thinking of the things they used to do... She shook her head slightly and put her head into the pillows. Finally she fell asleep sprawled out on the bed. In the morning she woke early to look out the door at Jack. Her blush returned. But there was business to attend to. Luna returned to her room and changed into her hunting clothing. She grabbed a gun with silver bullets then went out her window to run into the forest. She needed to speak with the Alpha. His pack was coming into human territory.

Jack woke up early. He planned to make Luna something to eat. A thank you present. But when he woke up she was gone. Well his sense of smell told him she was gone. Going towards the woods oddly enough. She was too far away for him to catch her. Without changing. No. He was not going to. He stepped out into the sun. He had left his shirt inside. Why not. "Father wants to talk to you." A voice said behind him. Jack did not even flinch. It was his younger brother Aaron. Another werewolf. Aaron looked more like their father than Jack did. Jack looked like their mother. The four Drake boys werewolves all. Jack was the only one who looked like their mother. With their father Marcus as Alpha they made up a good part of the pack.

"Tell Father I don't wish to talk to him. I'm trying to fix my life after he ruined it." Jack said flatly. Aaron scoffed. "He wants you there now. After last night...." Jack glared at him. "Yes let's ask him why he sent a pack member after me. That will be fun. " He said ending the conversation. Marcus would be mad but Jack did not care. He was his heir after all. The only one who got the Alpha gene. He say there talking to Aaron worried for Luna. If she was in the woods... His father might be pissed.

Luna had come out into the forest knowing that there would be werewolves. That is why she was packing silver. She had kept in contact with the Alpha but only through technology. It was usually text. She was never able to find out who he truly was but a pack member gave her the number to become in contact with him. The wolf claimed he did this to protect his family. So she just went with it in understanding. It wasn't that she killed all supernatural beings. Because honestly many were helpful in today's world. She just killed the ones that go rogue. So a cop for the supernatural. However this time the wolf had interfered with her life. So things have changed. It was time she met this Alpha. She knew the general location of the pack mansion. She finally broke through the woods into a clearing where a large mansion sat.

The old Drake mansion. No one would ever say the name. It clearly looked like it had seen better days. Much better days. However it was a perfect place for the pack to live. Jack honestly hated the place. It was dreary and horrid in his eyes. For some reason his father loved it. Nostalgia most likely.

The old man watched the woman walk up. Only a hunter would be foolish enough to come here. She was packing heat in the form of silver. He motioned to the pack to be ready. He could smell his son on this woman. It was very faint but he could smell it. The old man was built like Jack but did not look like him. His hair was dark black but had streaks in it of grey hair. He and Jack did share one thing , the electric blue eyes. The old man looked like a usual Alpha. He walked up to the path meeting the girl half way. "What are you doing here, hunter. Our agreement said you stay out of here." He said clearly angry.
