Edge of the Empire - A Star Wars RP

Ah, so it is. I'll have to research more on the Galactic Civil War itself. My primary Star Wars knowledge lies in the Old Republic. I revamped the CS to a regular ol' bounty hunter anyways :)

Personality: He is the typical smuggler. He has a devil may care attitude though if people are loyal to him he is loyal to them. Cor tries to be as noble as possible since he was raised that way.
Bio: Born in Theed to a Royal Security Officer and his wife. Cor was trained to be honorable in all things. He was taught how shoot at a young age and was most likely going to join the Queen's Guard when he got older. However it was not to be. Cor's father and mother both died in an explosion due to imperial forces. Cor used the money his parents left him to buy his own ship. Soon afterwards he got in with Teemo the Hutt and began to smuggle for him. However one time he slipped and Teemo's agents caught him and threw him into the palace jail. If he could get to his ship he would have enough to escape.
Weapons: One CR-2 blaster pistol and an S-5 heavy pistol.
Gear/Equipment/Items: One grappling hook and a stun baton.
Obligations: Bounty: wanted captured alive by Teemo the Hutt. Teemo wants to make sure this man's death is painful. If he is dead then that is fine.

We could just as easily change the time period to KoTOR era, which would make everyone happy ^-^
You could use the exact same plot, except instead of the empire ruling with some annoying rebels fighting them, its a full scale galactic war. Huts still existed and took advantage of entire planets like you detail.

Accepted! Love your character! Also for story sake, you broke out of Teemo's palace with Ruusaan and Sektor while your ship is impounded in the palace hangar. Unless you storm the palace, it won't be easy getting her back. But, I have a feeling you'll manage to find a way eventually. ;)

I'm sorry this RP will be in the era already set... but I am not opposed to another RP separate from this KOTOR themed.

I was thinking my guy's ship could be the groups means of getting off world. Is that alright?

Thought the group would need a smuggler with a heart of gold. I noticed my pic guy has a brace. I might do something with that...

Also could I make a side character? I was thinking an astromech droid or pilot droid. No weapons on either. Just to add some life to the ship that is currently nameless...

Quite, already we have 2 bounty hunters (always interesting), and a smuggler; that right there is just an interesting mix. Kinda reminds me of the beginning of The Avengers.

Yes, but in the words of Lord Vader "but you are not a Jedi yet" your powers will be weak... Also public demonstrations of the Force will bring the Empire on your head, to include the use or possession of a lightsaber. So you may not want to tell anyone who you are for all we know you are Joe the Bantha herder...

Alright, that's fine. Whenever's necessary. I've been in a few really good Star Wars rp's before. The last one being right at the climax of Order 66. Sadly, that ended when the site shut down late 2013. A pity. But at least there's another Star Wars rp with great potential.

What should I name my ship... Hmmm. Something catchy...
The droid is just getting named Rex. Not great but it's a droid.

You could name the droid Wrex. Sounds a bit more mechanical :) As for the ship, I've noted most take on after birds, like the Millennium Falcon, or the Ebon Hawk. Something that sounds...fast. The Sluggish Pelican is an example of a NOT SO GOOD ship XD Hope that helps at least a little bit, eh?
