Samuel strummed a
solemn sounding song on Lucy's strings. He cracked a grin in satisfaction of the song.
"Still can't believe you have that beautiful guitar." A gothic looking brunette spoke from out of nowhere, a cocky grin on her face.
"Hey Emma." He laughed placing the guitar on his lap. "Look whose the late one this time around, y'know class is starting in like 10 minutes, right? There ain't no way we're getting any practice done today."
Emma groaned. "I know, I can't believe for once it isn't your fault." She beamed for a second. "What about after school?" He strummed a little more. "Can't. I got something important today, family stuff." Groaning again she sat down at a drum kit. "You always have family stuff." The "family stuff" he always used as an excuse was cover for any of their hunts, and he used it constantly. Normally Emma didn't care because she had been his friend since Mathias had first adopted him, and she understood their family situation was special, but as of late she had grown tired of always being blown off. "Em,It's Taya. This'll be the first time any of us will see her since she left." He looked over at her. "Its real important for us."
She tapped lighty on a snare before letting out a sign which turned into a small smile. "You owe me Y'know." He laughed. "I know." Just then the bell signalling class was starting in five minutes rang across the school and students began arriving in the room
