I can't do anything about it, New Yorker, I'm sorry. I mean, it's hardly like I broke the damned thing on purpose... I'm not active because it still hurts to type and also I'm still trying to work out what my character is going to do, being the socially inept person she is.

I understand, I just wanted to air my frustrations.

Maybe you can find Noelle or Malakaus, get them to stop with their plan.

Ah, what about the brotherhood? Or was that just a pretense of honor and loyalty?

That was before Malakaus was revealed as a self-destructive, idiotic maniac. If he hears about some ancient ruin, or a gang of murdering brigadens, then he can cite a brotherhood.

No one's perfect New Yorker, but at least he tries not to hide it behind a pretense of civility. If you wanted the perfect crew, you're either going to need to keep looking or work with what you get. You want things to be better, you're going to have to throw your lot into the mess.

I don't know what the hell you're taking about, but the fact of the matter is that you made Malakaus do all of that. Rather than let the GM control the main plot, you decided to go off on this asinine bastardization of the main plot, and then you invite me to help fix your stupid mess.

I'm sorry for being so aggressive but I'm not going to let you drag me under that mile long bus with you and Ryonara. I might have put myself in this frustrating situation with Legion's character but I'm not blaming it on anyone else, and I'm certainly not dragging anyone else into it.

I approve of people doing things on their own. If something makes the main plot impossible, or messes with it, I'll mention it. I really don't want to have absolute control over everything. Characters will do what they want to do based on their own personalities. If you're dubious on whether or not a plan or idea you have will mess with things, just ask me.

EC, you know I'm the first person to put my characters on their own paths (eg Sarel being imprisoned, the port authority). I only have a problem when the person who came up with the idea, firstly, puts in the same effort as a second grader, and then shows no conviction. If you're going to do it, do it, don't pretend it was someone else's idea and then pull out at the last minute. It wastes time and creates thematic inconsistencies.

If you don't want to get involved, than don't. If you're tired of waiting for something to happen, do it yourself.

Your lost than. You just seen ornery because Legion isn't there to respond to you. The other alternative is leaving her behind to join up with Sharee, which might be what I have to do too, seeing that Ryo had Noelle ditch Malakaus. And as man of my word, since she didn't go through with the plan, neither can he. Also Ryo, that was dick move. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Maybe Fletcher would have something for Malakaus.

Oh man, that makes me want to play a renaissance era based TES game.

EDIT: Actually, I can make a case for cannons in some places. Like Akaviir.

EC, I have to say, your ability to deliver nuanced traits and details in such a terse and confident way is so wonderfully unique. This is why I want you in my fucking RP goddammit! Achem, sorry...

Dude, Sharee should come fetch Serge. She can see him from the harbor, on a bluff, flirting with a girl, again!. Is she just gonna take that?

At the moment, I'm managing about a dozen things, but I'm trying to keep up with everything. I understand if Legion is having a difficult time posting, so when we get through the current conversation, I'll have her approach.

Sorry if I am delayed in my response. I feel like I just can't think right now. I was writing for something else and just staring at the page, thinking of nothing.

I could drum something up. Have Malakaus get out of the water and confront Noelle, cause a scene. Or maybe see that she left, calls off the operation, heads towards the forge to start working on making copies of his crossbow.

Say Commander, how long did you plan to have the ship waiting in Khenarthi's Roost? I'd say it should take at least three days for the entire crew to finish up working on the ship, like the repairs, renovations, armoring, etc. During the mean time I also planned to have Malakaus talk to either Sharee or Noelle about their knowledge with explosive alchemy so he could try to create balista bolts with something similar to them. Or even invent the cannon himself if he can figure it out.

I'm also thinking about upgrading the crew's equipment to something a bit more standardized; Chainmail made of elven metal for those who want to use light armor, Elven plate for those who want to use heavy. Also if he can get his hands on a lot of soul gems (Doesn't even need to be powerful ones) he could start making jewelry for waterwalking/breathing for everyone. Given that we would be operating mostly on a boat, I figure this would be important. Just be careful of you fall off the ship; I think you take fall damage if you land on the water while having waterwalking active. I'm also thinking of getting Fletcher to catch wind about a Dwemer Ruin; this is so Malakaus could get his hands on the dwemer metal and turn those into weapons. Of course, he'll need help bringing out all the scraps, and I don't know if the Dwemer ever had places in Elsweyr. Also I'll be having Malakaus create copies of his box-fed crossbow. By Skyrim's count, I'd say he'd would be making weapons around level 12 or so, Elven armor and Dwarven Weapons. I'll also have him or his Argonian's start inscribing some spell scrolls, that way even the magically inept can be flinging Ice Spikes and such.

I'll also have Malakaus start training some of the crew with his skills. Which means more heavy-armor and shield-fighters. I definitely know that his Typhoon Warriors are going to be this anyways. He'll also be taking anyone with the interest to learn how to scribe scrolls and enchant as well. No sense in letting him get bogged down in menial work.

It all sounds like something that would take a while to accomplish. Right now, the ship is running on very little resources. They don't have much gold to spend, so anything malakaus does will have to be paid for by the proceeds from what he scavenged off the boat. Once they complete a job successfully, that will change.
