So sorry. Didn't Know. What plot device would that be? I have yet to read the stories of Magic, I have just played the game.

Promenade means A leisurely walk, especially one taken in a public place as a social activity. My father told me that the word Promenade didn't exist.

On that subject: How many people do you think appropriate, Sath?

Is it okay for our characters to come from other planes, so long as they are brand new PWs and still get involved with the Transguild etcetera?

I'm going to say I'd like 5-6 characters tops. So either 5-6 people or less with more characters. Ideally the former.

Also, we don't start as planeswalkers, is what I've been trying to say.

Alright, I just didn't want to be forced to play a character from Ravnica out of the whole multiverse.

Alright, I understand this much: We are unawakened Planeswalkers from the several planes of the multiverse, who have all unknowingly crossed paths to form the Transguild Promenade. Eventually, they'll discover their prowess (at different times) as a Planeswalker, but not after unknowingly disrupting a crucial part of Nicol Bolas' plan.

Well we'd all have to be from Ravnica, if that's the setting and we're unawakened.

I also think it would be especially cool if we all had different specialties.

I reckon we should pick color(or color combination) and then pick a specialty within that/those color(s). And maybe our characters can learn from each other(and from NPCs) whose colors overlap with them.

It would be cool if there was a one plane per chsracter limit so there was some design diversity. Would be pretty cool. (I call kamigawa.)

I can rock any color, and most combinations. So I'll decide after everyone else in case anyone else has a stronger preference. Just to make sure there's variety.

Alright then.

If there is going to be a mana function, I think that it'd be something like an internal energy pool that increases with connection to the land. The energy automatically refills after a certain amount of time, whether it'd be in or out of combat.

In the upcoming M15 release, it has been hinted that Avatars of the planes themselves exist. Perhaps Nicol wishes to manipulate Ravnica's in some way?



It would certainly make a switch to other planes in terms of plot more viable.
