Fallout: New Vegas RP

I have an idea for a interesting RP. Instead of their being a Courier(which would never work here lol), How about a group of five to seven players that consist of people with varying histories, demeanor, morals, and personalities, all fighting to make Vegas independent from Caesar, Kimball, and Mr. House. I feel this would be extremely immersive, and would promote creativity, compromise, and teamwork.

I am in need of someone who is knowledgeable about the lore, factions, and general feel of the western side of North America in the Fallout universe. This person would also need to be willing to help me weave through all of the little inconsistencies of the plot that I suggested which would be explain in private.

I know this is broad and a little vague, but this is what made my mind spin around with the possibilities of what this could turn into!

I think my last go at this RP we ended up with mad scientists trying to breed deathclaw humans and twin lesbian bounty hunters. This can *definitely* be awesome. No pressure. I'm excited.

Interested. I'm afraid as lore knowledgeable as everyone else, mostly because I've avoided it since I thought it was just a shooter (I'm not a shooter gamer) but after playing Fallout 3 that I got for my dad (since people at his work play it and he was curious) I was surprised just how wonderful the game was. It wasn't just a shooter like Call of Duty or Battlefield.

So take my interest xD though I am wondering if there is a character limit we can play? Or is it just one?

So...does anyone have any ideas for the plot? I have a few ideas, but there still is inconsistencies with them, seeing as we would need a way to murder Mr. House as a group, and then fight off the Legion and the NCR. This is gonna be cool. :D

As for plot, I mean...we COULD follow the BASIC plot of NV, but that might be stale. Obviously, our group would need to be able to access the Lucky 38 in order to kill House, but how if not under the guise of helping him?

Mr. House allows a menagerie of people to enter the Lucky 38, everyone from business associates, to "personnel." The Lucky 38 will be a slight slight challenge, compared to some of the query of the Legion or the NCR. You can't even get to the Legion Camp without passage on a boat guided by his men. Lets conveen on a closer matter, and assemble the plot in stages. Where would you all like to start off?

Secondly, I call dibs on the Survivalist/Beast Companion Character. I have had one made for months, and haven't got to use it yet.

I was thinking we could all be mercenaries hired by some mysterious figure to do all this stuff (quests and the like) with the independence of New Vegas in mind. That could open our characters up to a more broad range of moralities and affiliations. I mean, we could do the NV plotline if you want? But it might be hard to stay on so tight a track with so many people, going by how many have shown interest.

I'm totally calling the ex-Followers of the Apocalypse character. Science! Yay!
