[IC] The Doctor and the Guardian

The Doctor paced and just mumbled "NO," he knew it would be bad if Rassilon and the others could get through, had the Master opened the way.
He didn't look happy.

Avery looked worried and rested a hand on his shoulder. "I will stop them...trust me. Whix? Give me the location of where we are thinking the tear is..." Whix said "You got it, might take a few minutes"

The Doctor looked around and he was unsure if he should let her go alone. He really wasn't sure it was safe, He sighed.

She was checking her gear when Whix came back up and said "I sent the location to your pad...Boss you sure you should go alone?" Avery stood up and said "Well what would you suggest?"

"I could come with you," The Doctor replied. He didn't think it was safe. He knew what the time lords were like towards the end.

Avery looked at him and said "Your the one they want. What if something happens and they get their hands on you?"

The Doctor looked at her "They won't , but I can't let them hurt you or anything else happen." He was determined to come with her.

Avery sighed then after a few minutes she nodded. "Alright...but if I tell you to run, you get out. Leave me behind. Got it?"

The Doctor blinked. He wasn't sure who was more in charge, he felt like he wasn't for once "Normally that is what I say," he looked rather confused.

Avery looked at him and said "Really? Well, looks like we understand each other"

"Well normally I am the one telling somebody to run, being in charge... Not sure where you stand , not had somebody tell me what to do." The Doctor was grinning a bit.

Avery smirked and said "well, I put others first....it's how I am. So your safety comes first for me"

The Doctor was looking at her "And so do I, I don't worry about my own safety." he replied.

Avery headed for the door and said "sounds like I will have to then. You coming?"

The Doctor followed her out "Id be fine." he was a bit stuborn but he knew it took a lot to harm him.

She shut the door and said "Right...that's how you ended up being attack by a energy..." She stopped dead when she saw where they were. They were in Washington D.C. Avery looked around and said "If this is where the rip is...we are in big trouble"

The Doctor followed her, he knew he would be fine, even if he got hurt. He was looking around. He was surprised the rip was here. He knew that things could be bad too.

Avery cursed and looked at her watch. "Whix, give me a better location" Whix came up and said "Boss, I can't. Something is blocking my system"

The Doctor looked around. He sighed "I suppose the Master is the one that opened the tear, hes only one on the outside that would." he was looking around "Unless it was opened by me unintentionally which I don't think I did."

Avery pulled out her pad and starting looking at things, then cursed. "Its not a block...its a wall. The rip is causing it...all the tech in the area is going to start to fail"
