Alex chuckled. 'Honestly. Do you people even eat pizza?' He joked, before calling a waitress over. He ordered, she attempted to flirt with him, he completely ignored her. He knew that it was happening, he always did, but he always brushed off the waitresses and the fangirls, because he really just didn't care. He was a one woman, or in this case one man, kinda guy.

Jason smirked and playfully bumped his shoulder with Alex before turning to attention to the waitress. He didn't notice the flirting, he pretty blind to that kinda of stuff. But either way, Jason wouldn't have notice it. He trusted people and Alex had his trust now. "Oh come now, have you ever tried pizza with pineapples? The sweetness makes your mouth water!"

Alex shivered. 'I have indeed, it didn't end well.' He said, the truth was, Alex was really awkward with food. He was a little OCD about it actually. Anything sweet was always separate from anything savoury. He just couldn't mix those two together. He ordered a round of cokes as well, before turning back to the conversation around the table.

'So. Liam. What do you think of this gay marriage stuff?' Lisa asked him, seemingly randomly, but Alex new she was trying to judge his reaction to his less than hetero relationship... He questioned himself... Were they in a relationship? He thought so, he'd ask later, when they were alone.

'Meh. I don't really care, to be honest. As long as no guy tries to get me down the aisle with him, I couldn't care less.' He answered. 'The parades and stuff annoy me, though, cause of the traffic, but hey, a person has to do whatever it is to be taken seriously.' Liam wasn't particularly macho, or popular, or boneheaded, but he was pretty dense when it came to anything remotely discreet. He was easy to hide things from, and Alex had never told him about his bisexuality, but until recently, he had never been with a guy anyway, so that didn't matter.

Jason looked to the small group as Lisa brought up gay marriage. Truthfully, Jason had thought about marriage before. Well not deeply anyway, he couldn't find himself to actually picture himself walking down the aisle with anyone to get married. His ex had talked about it before but Jason always changed the subject.

"Oh you mean gay parade! You've been to one?" Jason asked as he leaned on the table a bit, pushing aside his table manners since it seemed they were needed here.

Liam shook his head. 'No, I've never been to one, but I've seen them, when my dad's been driving and getting all annoyed at the traffic build-up.' He answered. 'I get the feeling there's something I'm missing.' He added.

'Wow, looks like miracles do happen. Liam's noticed something is different.' Alex laughed. 'Liam, it would appear I have something to discuss with you.' He began. 'I'm kinda bi.' He told him.

'And I realised before he did.' Added Lisa.

"They made traffic-build ups? Mmm, then again they are parades." Jason shrugged. When Liam notice something, the young man blinked before looking to Alex "You didn't tell him? And Lisa knew you were bi before you did?" Jason asked. Looking back to Liam, the young man waited to see a responses. He was just as surprised. He thought these two knew all about Alex being bi.

'I didn't tell him because I didn't know how he'd react.' Alex told Jason, looking directly at Liam. 'Plus, it never seemed necessary, I mean, I've never been with a guy before.' He shrugged. 'And yeah, Lisa's into gays more than gay guys are, so she kinda senses these things. Believe it or not, she's a total fangirl.'

Liam was still processing what had been said, his jaw slightly slack, his eyes had glazed over. He was confused, a little hurt, but not angry enough to do anything. He snapped back to reality and shrugged. 'Fair enough.' He said, shrugging.

'That's it?' Alex asked, a little shocked.

'Well, I'm a little upset that you didn't tell me before now, but hey, you are what you are. That's life.' He shrugged. 'It's not like it makes you any different.' He turned to Jason. 'What about you? Now this is an open discussion, you seemed a little enthusiastic about the pride parades...'

"Haha, you sound like you'd get along wonderfully with my friend back in England, she loved gays as well. Often tried shipping me and a few of my other friends with teachers or other students. I think you'd like her."

Jason jumped a little when the attention was turned to him. Blinking, Jason chuckled "I was enthusiastic? Mmm, I guess. And I'm gay. I guess I'm kinda hard to read." Jason said as he looked to Liam. "...But really, I seemed enthusiastic? I guess I was...I never been to those parades. My mum flips if I even mention about watching one."

Liam shrugged. 'Fair enough. So we have a straight guy, a gay guy, a bisexual guy and whatever Lisa is.' He said. 'Well, aren't we a mixed group.' He chuckled.

Alex smiled. 'Yeah. It's weird how, when you think about it, we could split into two couple, or one weird threesome and a fourth wheel.' He joked. He mentioned two couples because of his thoughts of him and Jason, and because of the fact that he knew that Liam and Lisa would probably end up together. It was just common knowledge.

Jason turned to Alex, picking up on when he talked about them all splitting up into couples. Now that did bring up many questions for the teen. He would save them for when they were alone though. Smiling Jason didn't comment about the whole splitting thing. Pushing up his glasses, the young man looked up to see their pizza being brought. Thanking the woman he looked to the group.

"Oh wow, that's a lot meat on yours Liam. You can eat all of that?" he asked, not thinking before he spoke. With their recent discussion it might have sounded wrong.

Liam nearly choked on the coke he was drinking, while Alex laughed like a maniac and Lisa just gave an amused smile. Liam grabbed a napkin and wiped his chin, before breathing a few times and replying. 'Jason, please don't use that phrase when we've had a discussion like the one we just had.' He responded. 'Not that it's offensive, it's just next time, you might succeed in actually killing me.' He joked. He then shrugged and responded to the actual question. 'And don't worry, I can handle a lot of meat, for a straight guy.' He winked , before grabbing a slice of the pizza.

Perking a brow, the young man looked at the two and wondered why they were laughing and why Liam had started to chock. He was actually worried "Liam, are you okay?" he asked quickly when Liam was able to breath again. It took a moment but Jason turned a bit red and rubbed his neck "S-sorry! I didn't mean too.. hehe..." he chuckled weakly. Laughing softly at Liam's comment, the young man smiled "Haha, well that is reassuring." he smiled before going in for his pizza. Licking his lips, the teen grinned "This is great."

Alex ruffled Jason's hair. 'Awww. Isn't he so innocent? Don't you just wanna bundle him up and protect him from the big bad world that wants to destroy such innocence?' He laughed. 'Honestly though, I don't see how anyone our age can still be this innocent, without some sort of supernatural force being at play.' He thought for a minute. He wanted to ask a few questions, but figured they wouldn't be appropriate at that particular time.

Liam's mouth dropped open. 'Are you two...?'

'YOU CHOOSE TODAY TO NOTICE THINGS!?' Alex complained, and then laughed. 'Ummm... We haven't really discussed if us two are us two, or whether we are me and him, yet.'

Jason frowned and wrinkled his nose as he looked up to Alex "Hey! I'm not that innocent! I'm just like Liam... it takes me awhile to notice certain things." he stated as he pouted a little. Sighing he went back to eating his pizza. When Laim spoke about them Jason looked up quickly and jumped when Alex complained rather loudly. "Dear lord!" Jason shook his head as he looked over to Alex before turning to Liam.

"...Good... so I'm not the only one wondering."

Alex chuckled. 'Sorry I scared you, but that's just me, I get a little loud at times.' He smiled. 'And we can discuss it later, for now, we're here as friends.' He smiled as he grabbed a slice of pizza, and began to eat it carefully. Unlike Liam who was unceremoniously stuffing his mouth with pizza.

Jason smiled as he agreed and went back to eating his pizza, making sure to pick up whatever pineapples fall off and throwing them into his mouth. Leaning back, the young man looked out the window and was surprised to see his mother's car. Though he turned to the group, staying quite for the most part as he wanted to make sure his mother didn't suddenly show up.

"So, Lisa, you mentioned a place called... Katie's I think... how is it there?"

Lisa giggled a little. 'If my assumptions are right, I think you'll find out for yourself soon.' She smiled at Alex, and he nodded. 'So, I'm not saying anything.' She said with another giggle.

Alex looked over at Jason and shrugged. 'She won't tell you, no matter how much you ask her.' He said with a small laugh.

The young man sighed softly as he reached for his drink and started to drink. Looking over to Alex, the young man smiled warmly and leaned back in his seat. A few more people came in and one waved to the group, it just a kid from school who knew them all. Just someone who saw them now and again. Jason finished his pizza and grinned a little "So, what do you guys do for fun? I've only been going to the comic book store."

Alex shrugged. 'Don't ask me. I've been spending my last few months showing up at parties, realising how bored I was, and unless anyone decent was there, leaving early.' He sighed. 'Popularity kinda sucks.'

'There are a few hangout spots.' Liam said, ignoring Alex's comments. 'A lot of people hang out near the mall. Then there's the skate park, the actual park, the old bridge...' He ticked them off on his fingers.

'He said fun, Liam.' Lisa joked. 'There's a theme park not too far away from here.' She said. 'And then there's a beach near there, too.'

Jason perked up once hearing about the theme park "Theme park?" he asked as Lisa now had all of his attention. Even more so when she mentioned the beach "A beach too? Wow. How far is the drive?" he asked, happy to hear about those places. He loved the beach, even if didn't go as often as he would have like going to a beach anytime he could.
