[IC] It's Good to be Bad (Somewittyname and vampiricchild)

Jason got his duffle bag and headed out the door after feeding the stray cat he had recently taken in. Waiting outside the young man looked up and saw it was getting a bit cloudy but nothing to really worry about. Looking waiting in the front, Jason began to smoke his vapor again and looked out in the front yard. It was still nice, grass freshly cut, the one story place had just been painted before he and his mother had move in and there weren't any cracks anywhere in the drive way. His car sat in the garage, protected and well cared for.

Looking out on the street, the teen waited for Alex, checking his phone now and again. Upon seeing him, Jason smirked as he walked over and grinned as he got in "Hi." he smiled as he threw his bag into the back of the car. "So, your place right?"

'Yes indeed.' He smiled. 'I have a hell of a lot of movies. I hope you don't mind the basement, it's the best place in my house to watch movies.' He said, grinning. His basement had been converted into a home cinema. There were two large leather sofas with a large screen and projector. The walls were stacked with shelves containing lots of movies. He had a feeling that Jason would have a field day in there.

Jason leaned back in the seat and smiled "Oh wow, you have a basement?" Jason asked as the car began to move. Playing with the small necklace he had on, Jason had to admit that he was kinda nervous. This would be his first time away from home since the came over the sea, it would be his first time away from home as well.

Getting out of the car as they came to Alex's home, the teen looked up as he grabbed his bag "Wow..." he said under his breath. Slinging his bag over his shoulder, the young man waited for Alex to walk first before following. Jason wiped his feet well before entering the home and once in he looked wide eye around the place and sat his bag down by his feet "Wow... this bigger than either homes I've lived in..." he said. Dan tried calling Jason, he wanted to throw a party and see if they could use Alex's place. He sent over a text first before calling.

Alex smiled at Jason. 'Make yourself at home for a short while. I need to take a call.' He said. 'The living room is the door on the right.' He tapped Dan's number into his phone and hit call. He knew exactly what he wanted and exactly what he would say.

'Dan. I don't have time to talk so just listen. There will be no party at my house. I have company. Important company. And there is no way I could have a party tonight. I won't be attending one either.' He hung up, leaving Dan dumbstruck on the other side.

Nodding Jason grabbed his bag and headed for the living room. Stopping at the photos he laughed softly seeing Alex when he was younger, it was cute to see the boy on his birthdays and how he was when he was younger.
Taking a seat on the couch, Jason looked around, everything in the home was large and clearly new. It must have cost a lot of money to actually make this home how it was now. It kinda made Jason rethink about asking if Alex wanted to come to his place to study now and again. Shaking his head he sighed softly, he shouldn't. His home was nice but nothing like this place.

Dan stood silent before shaking his head and turning to the others to tell them the bad news. It seemed like the party would go on with Alex.

Alex headed into the living room. 'Now, would you like to see my basement?' He asked, smiling. 'I have a feeling you will have a lot of fun in there.' He said with a small chuckle. He had basically designed the room himself, because he would get the most use out of it.

"Hmm? Oh sure!" Jason smiled as he stood up and deiced he could leave his bag on the floor. Following Alex, Jason felt better now as they started down the basement steps. Once entering the room his mouth opened and he found himself amazed. Wandering the room the young man smiled as he searched the room and studied the movies "Wow... I wish I had a basement now... oh wow! It must have taken weeks to do all this!"

Alex chuckled. 'Try months. The designing alone took weeks. I had to account for the space, the warmth, the furniture and projector. It took quite a while. Then the builders took their time, too.' He shrugged. 'But it's definitely worth it.' He smiled. 'Tim Burton's are over on the left. Grab as many as you like.' He said, gesturing the to the Tim Burton movies, and sat on one of the large sofas.

"wow. By yourself?" he asked looking over to Alex. Smiling he left the room and went to the left shelf. Grabbing as many movies as he could, the boy ended up making two trips before sitting on a leather chair and grinned from ear to ear "I got them, hows about you choose the first one?"

Alex smiled and grabbed Nightmare Before Christmas. 'This one has got to be first.' He laughed, putting it in the dvd player attached to the projector. He switched the projector on and light filled the big screen.

The teen grinned and sat comfortable in the leather chair. Looking to the big screen the teen felt over joyed as he saw everything was working pretty well, now he really wish that he did have a basement.

Alex smiled as the film started, watching Jason from the corner of his eye. With his family being so rich, he had some pretty impressive stuff. The only problem was that most people couldn't see past the stuff, meaning he rarely had any true friends.

Jason looked over to Alex after a few minutes and snapped his fingers "Oh wait! I brought some popcorn if you want some! I can go get it!" he smiled as he jumped off the leather couch and waited for Alex's answer.

Alex shrugged. 'Sure, why not.' He said as he clicked the pause button on the dvd remote. 'I'll get us some drinks.' He added, standing up.

Nodding the teen waited for Alex to go up first before following. Grabbing the large bowl from his bag, which took up about 1/3 of the space, Jason smiled as he found Alex "I hope you like it, its popcorn from where I come from so it might be different than what you are use to." he smiled as he opened the lid. The popcorn itself was still pretty warm and smelt of cinnamon and a hint of sugar. Grabbing a piece he offered it to Alex "Its isn't bad, you won't just taste the popcorn at first."

Alex was in the kitchen at a machine that allowed for the creation of magnificent flavours of drinks. It was basically just filled with fizzy water and you added various flavourings. 'What type of drink do you want?' He asked. 'Cola, orangeade, lemonade...?' He added examples to show that the selection was diverse, and to make it slightly easier to choose. He had already made his own cola. The cups were huge, they were supersized to last through several movies, and, more often than not, several bathroom breaks. He took the piece of popcorn and popped it into his mouth.

"Oh wow... um orange sounds great actually." Jason said as he helped Alex carry the drinks. Returning back downstairs to the basement, the teen looked up at his friend and grinned "Hehe, this is really exciting!" he smiled warmly as he took his seat and sat the popcorn on his lap before seeing th small coffee table in front of them. Placing the bowl down he leaned back "I think we're ready now!"

Alex nodded. 'I think we are.' He agreed, pressing play, and returning to the movie. He couldn't think of anything else to say, so he decided just to watch the movie.

Jason smiled and settled into the couch to watch the movie. He became as silent as a mouse and now and again he would miss grabbing the popcorn or even sometimes missing his own mouth.

Alex didn't do much during the movie. He was completely still apart from when taking sips of his drink, or small amounts of popcorn. He wasn't one to move much during a movie, he became immersed in it.
