She looked at him and said "different people. The man I want....not worth talking about right now....as for her...her name was Lilian. She was my best friend....I met her when I came to the states for school" she looked away again, not wanting to talk about her. It was still a fresh wound for her.

She came to the states huh. Well how about that. She was not native. Hmm but where? "Alright let's forget this shall we? Moving on from the past. I know how painful it can be. " Hawk confessed. "So if you join you sort of have to follow the rules. No going rogue or turning crazy. No fighting other members. Unless they asked for it. Lastly don't hurt civilians. Alright so you have my approval and that's all you need. So will join? I'll have CABAL make some more of the serum for you. " He said wondering I'd she would join.

She nodded at the rules, thinking that if she did go rogue it would be for only one reason. "Ya...why not. Being a team player again might not be a bad idea...besides, might be nice to have back up for a change..." She had been looking out the window while she said this, her emotions hidden well. She looked at him and said " I'm in"

Hawk smiled. "Good." He had not expected this to work so well honestly. He had expected her to say no. "So Wolf. Welcome to the Group. I'll convince the others to accept you. I do have a bit of power. " He said smirking. "So do you have any questions?"

Wolf shook her head and stood up. "Nope. If you don't mind I would rather not be here when your all deciding if I'm in or not..." She headed for the door, flicking her hand at one of the shadows in the room. Of course she had her ways of hearing things without being in the room. She was the most trusting person. Besides, how else would she find Z and keep the team from getting in the way.

Hawk nodded. Sure if she wanted to leave. Course he would have to do something so she did not snoop around. " Alright. We will do it later than. So will you be going?" He asked. He had to get somewhere as Nate. Some of his people were interested in that singer last night. Could be interesting. He had to get going. "Well I'll let you leave on your own. I have to go. " He said leaving the room.

She waved and vanished into the shadows of the room. Only to appear in the lab where Cabel was. She looked around, leaning against the table. Then she reached into her side bag and pulled out a new ear piece and put it in, turning it on. "And another thing, if you think that I'm going to let you get killed over this Z thing you have another thing coming" Tony yelled and Wolf said "Have you been yelling this whole time?" Tony stopped, hearing her voice. "Oh, hey. Um...maybe? You alright?" Wolf looked around the lab and said "Better...but not cured. Hawk gave me something to help with the energy over loads....but it won't last. It didn't last time..." Tony cursed and leaned back in the chair. Wolf said "I will stick with these guys for now...see where it gets me...but Z is still our target, got it?" Tony nodded and said "I know...I know...you going out tonight?" Wolf smiled and said "As both Fox Silver and The Wolf....need to get signed remember?" Tony agreed and Wolf looked around at the lab again. "Thank you, Cabel...you might have saved my life...if you ever need anything, ask me first..." She pulled the ear piece out and left it on the table then vanihsed. She knew the computer genuis would know what to do with it.

CABAL noticed the woman come in and start talking. "I shall remember that." He said as she left. How strange. She had left her earpiece. Was it for him? How thoughtful. It needed upgrades that's for sure. He set about working some upgrades. But first he set the frequency to the rest of the Group. In particular to Hawk.

Nate finally got back to mansion. He took off his suit and took a shower. He then came out with his towel and was jumped by Alex. "So how was it?! Did you need me? Are you ready for tonight?" He asked quickly. "Wait what about tonight?" Nate asked. "You have a date! Well sort of. Two adults having dinner. With that singer lady. Algernon said that the record people want you to see what is up with her. " Alex said like it was fact. Nate had not been told this. Still he had to. He was involved with this. He changed up and was waiting at the restaurant in an hour. Some kind of Italian place. He was wearing his usual suit. Black coat and pants. He looked around wondering if she would show.

Wolf walked into the studio and tony held out a silver dress. She stared at it and said "umm...what?" Tony said "you have a dinner meeting with mr. Cole. I set it up. Just two hours then you can go be wolf shade" wolf sighed and grabbed the dress, heading for the bedroom.

Fox silver walked into the restaurant, the cocktail silver dress feeling odd on her. But all dresses felt odd to her. She saw Nate and smiled slightly, walking over and sitting down. "Sorry I'm late, I had some errands and lost track of time"

Nate smiled as she came over. She looked amazing. He would never say that though. He looked at her as she sat. "I almost missed this too. I had a lot of errands. " He said looking around. Luckily the press were not allowed in. They loved to make rumors about his love life. This was just dinner. "So Ms. Shade how has your time in Helios City been? Peaceful I hope. " He said smiling. When the waiter came by he just ordered his usual. A Lasagna with chicken. He had a metabolism that would not quit.

She ordered fish and said "Its been eventful to say the least....its a lovely city" She puased then she siad "I am a to the point person. Why did your board want this little meeting? Tony didn't have time to give me all the details" She heard a groan in her ear and Tony said "You know I can hear you right?"

Nate nodded. "Yah my board set this up. Said I had to do this. They like to do this to me. Spring things on me. " He said noticing she was talking to someone. Who? He had no idea. "Who is Tony? Second is he the person you are talking to?" He guessed.

She blinked and said "Tony is my manager...you met him last night at the dinner. He likes to keep in contact." She leaned forward and said "But enough about me...tell me more about you...unless this is all just business" She winked again.

Nate laughed. This was not just business. Well he did not think so. "Well let's see. Nate Cole. Son of Helios and resident playboy. Well the press claims that's all I do. Lived here my entire life after my parents..." He said leaving off the fact that they died. Everyone knew that. Not that he liked being an orphan. "So you have likely heard about our villain problem. Highest per capita amount of heroes and villains in the country..." He said bothered by it.

Maggie nodded and said "I had heard...part of why we came here. Tony is big on the crime thing...his friend you see is in the hero world" She drank from her wine glass, thinking this thru. She would need a better cover if they were staying, and so would tony if anyone saw him with the Wolf Shade. So separt lives seem liked the best choice

Nate nodded. "There is some lunatic named Hawk. He had to save me once. Bleeding lunatic. " He said thinking about how he had tricked the city. Made it look like he was not hawk. "So how long have you been singing? You were amazing by the way. "

Maggie put her glass down and said "Just a few years...I was in the military before that. British version of your black ops" She took another drink, not feeling as tense as she had been before. She looked at her watch, knowing Hawk would be calling any minute to meet the rest of the team. She was not looking forward to that.

Nate nodded. So she was a military girl. How odd. "Wow. Military. Could not tell. " He said smiling. He was waiting for the call that the team was ready. He had not gotten it yet. In about ten minutes. He looked at Maggie. "So Maggie got a boyfriend? Sorry I have to ask it. I've gotten in troue with that. " He said joking.

Maggie laughed and said "No way. With what time? I work basically full time...and no guy really gets me you know? They can't see past the pop star" She nodded and said "I did the singing thing to be honest for my friend...she loved music and she won't get the chance...and she thought I had a wonderful voice so..."

Nate was not dense. He knew that she had lost someone close. Odd but that added more layers. "Most people can't see past the playboy part of me either. Not easy when that's all they see.. Or want to see. " He said looking down. Luckily their food came. He are a bit. "So what can I do to help you while you stay in 'my' city. " He asked smiling. CABAL was suppose to call him soon.
