[IC] Elder Scrolls <The Reboot>

Thousands of players soon struck into the lands of Elder Scrolls particles flying up into they misty air as they did. It was cold and very snowy in these lands. Players landing in a destroyed city snow and nature had taken this city. Though this wasn't the game everyone remembered this was so different. This was ..Elder Scrolls and in a few minutes in the city many players began to panic and as well many of the People of the Land began to get terrified. Players demanding things from them, players going mad as if they were going too kill them selves. The city was fully at gloom and despair. Though many things can be heard from outside the walls of this abandoned yet sheltered city..it was the monsters. Monsters that respawned and spawned when entering and defeating.

(Attacks will go through the GUI at first but many will learn that you have to use movement too activate skills)

Aurora

Suddenly bursts into life straight into the game. Her sight of vision was still the same. She rose her hands and looked at them for a moment. Staying calm as she looked around, shifting in 2 inches of snow. Though she saw the sun rise which calmed her a bit and for a few minutes she stood there in thought, " Were am I ? " she asked herself looking down onto the cracked roads over-run with crashed cars, " Did J-... " though her theory didn't make sense as she looked down noticing she was in armor...her Elder Scrolls Armor, " fuuudge! " she yelled going a tad crazy for only a few minutes. She looked around one more time, " E-..E-..Elder Scrolls.." Again she though she had many idea's when she figured out she was in Elder Scrolls, " Hrm...this is like SAO " she giggled for a moment, though this wasn't a time too laugh and so she swiped her finger in the air and then poof! The GUI appeared. Aurora needed to gain info quickly...this world..what is sit?

"Huh...?"

It felt like for a moment, he was drifting in thought. "Why does it feel so..." He felt around his body until he could feel himself blink with a quick shutter of his eyelids. The brightness of the sun was shining directly down into his face, but he couldn't feel any heat. "Ah damn... I feel hungry... Maybe I should've eaten before..." The HUD menu opens the moment thought about opening it, pushing several holographic buttons until he navigated to the log out button and pressed it once. There was an error sign. "What...?!" He continued to press it again and again only to be encountered with the same error notification. That's when his head had finally awakened. "I can't log out?!" Even though the voice inside of his head felt silent, he hears it echo into the abyss.

He tried to walk forward, but felt the awkwardness of his steps-- how its very draggy and rather restrictive in nature until his brain finally functioned properly inside of him and saw the thick and enormous snow that layered the entire town he had appeared in. "What the... Is it the Christmas Event already? It's only..." He doesn't even remember what month it was. "Oh Aren... How could you forget..." He brought his own palm to his forehead. The noisy sounds began to finally shred through the deep thoughts of Aren. His eyes looked forward to the crowd. People were confused, some were anticipating something about an outbreak that involved a game. It just sounded so... Absurd to him. That at the same time though did not explain why he couldn't log out of the game. He observed the button and pressed it to no avail and the error notification just keep appearing.

"Gah." He thought again, moving his feet as much as he could underneath the layer of snow. It hadn't come into mind yet that he was controlling himself, rather than playing the game on the computer.

Ugh......Why am I here?

Lily said waking up slowly as she was on the ground, it was snowy and white and beautiful but she was alsp confused to why she was back into the place? What did she do to get here?! "Alright... I can do this...." she said walking around slowly, it was like..... like her body was tired, her REAL body but then her body in the computer was all fine. She thought that she was done with the game, but it seemed that they wanted her back and it was the christmas event. She opened up the menu and scrolled down to find information about where she exactly was. This was going to be a very very long day! And she made her way somewhere to find others.

Aurora

Smirked once more she was defienatly excited! It was like fate! But instead of a evil game maker the game took us by force! She knew this situation well and so she walked around feeling the slight cold of the snow, " Damn! " again she swiped her finger through the air as the GUI opened once more, clicking onto the Friends Icon. But only 16 players showed up and only 5 were on. She frowned and scrolled down abit until she found Arens and Lily's name. Thinking for a moment, " Isn't there double VIA talking? " she asked herself, shrugging pressing those two names waiting them too accept and while she waited she decided to have some fun and so she jumped down from the building thinking more about SAO she remembered that Kirito exactly said, " Feel the Motion? " She thought and so she did what Klein did, " Aeriel Flight! " Golden strings came from her back and she hovered in mid-air.

(There is a difference between safe/passive/dangerous skills. You are in a city so you can only use safe/passive)

He sat on a piece of ruin in the nearby town, resting himself as he goes. He felt so groggy and sluggish as he looked up to the sky that may have an answer to his very tired body. His chin took rest on his palm as if he was thinking. "Why is everyone dressed like..." His eyes widened upon the appearance of a call in his HUD. Then it slowly came to him, like a silent slithering snake who caught on its prey, that he was in a game. He looked at himself, arms in front of his HUD, how armor was clad over his arms and body. The picture of a fist appeared directly in front of Aren, and next to it was a call from none other than Aurora. "Wait, is she alright? Where is she right now?" Aren pressed with his finger the answer button. "Hello... This is the Takaeda resi--" He stopped, realising what it is that he's done. "I mean-- Aurora! You okay? What's happening?" Damn, he's really out of it. Was it because he was stuck in a game?

"Wh-What the hell!?"

Makoto glanced around the foreign environment. Why was it snowing? Last he remembered he was in his room on his computer downloading a series of patches for various gameson his PC. He rubbed his temples to clear his head and gave an long, exasperated sigh. He scanned the environment much more thoroughly this time, taking note of the rather... post-apocalyptic look of the locale. Which was odd. Last he checked, the Mayans were wrong about the whole end of the world deal. He also noted that he wasn't exactly cold despite the winter look. The short Japanese young man glanced down at his attire.

'...Ah.'

'I see now.'

For someone who had just been thrust into the world of a 2D MMORPG, Makoto's face was surprisingly neutral. He furrowed his brow. 'Now how to bring up the status screen...' he thought before the GUI appeared before him. A brief moment of surprise caused him to recoil backwards a bit, making him fall down in turn due to the snow obstructing his fluid movement. He scowled at his own ineptitude before looking at his GUI. 'Great, I'm logged into Touma right now...' Makoto thought, navigating through the icons for the log out, 'I'll just switch characters and get on Kansh..it.' His eye twitched. He stabbed at the 'Log Off' icon to no avail.

"Shit, I'm stuck on my alt!"

Makoto groaned loudly and pulled up his friends list. To no surprise, there was barely anybody on it. In fact, there was nobody on it. It was his alternate account after all, and anyone who wanted to request him was kindly redirected to his main. That was alright though, he knew all the important usernames anyway. A few clicks later and...

"Now to play the waiting game," Makoto yawned, taking a seat on a pillar.

Aurora

After accepting the request she honestly didn't know what too say but, " Hia! " and so after that she began to play with her spells.As her glowing wings sprouted from her back she flew upon the lands of this game, " Weee! " she shouted spinning around as the fresh breeze dances along her face and thus after a few minutes off flying her wings began to fade and so she glided down onto the ground until another bar appeared and so it simply stated, " Accept/Decline "Makoto" " she thought about that game for a few minutes and just giggled cute name and so she accepted his friend request and for the time being she played around and was walking towards the guild hall.

Lily crawled on the ground, seeing that she wasn't feeling very good. Her stomach was hurting like hell, Lily noticed a call request as she accepted it but didnt talk, she didnt know who exactly was, her eyesight was a little blurry. She slowly stood up walking towards a nearby town, which she stumbeled on her way there. "Why is this happening to me?" And then she looked down seeing that she was bleeding on her stomach, but not much, but it still hurt like hell! It seemed that, this world was now somehow real life. As she got closer to the town, she noticed so many people, with strange outfits. And then a bar popped out, a friend request, she was going to accept it but she fell on the ground accidently declining the friend request, and she stood there in the middle of the town, fainted.

Two of his launched requests got answered, with one accepted and the other declined. He couldn't say he was particularly surprised as to the particular person who'd decided to deny his message. She wasn't much for meeting new people, and he was damn sure that he hadn't shown this specific character profile to any of the five he had sent messages to. Except maybe Okami. Bastard had way too much free time on his hands ever since he graduated.

Aurora accepting it was much more of a surprise, as Makoto was pretty sure that she hated being bothered by randoms, what with being a beta and all. Either way, he wasn't one to look a gift horse in the mouth. He flicked through his GUI again and brought up the VIA to start up a telepathic link with Aurora. As he waited for her to pick up, Makoto sifted through his GUI, reacquainting himself with all his character's - well, his own, technically - skills and equipment.

Dimitri blinked, squinted, and grunted in slight discomfort , it was bright for a moment, very bright in fact, however his vision slowly started to fade back in. 'Pops must've messed around with the damned fusebox again...' he mused as he opened his eyes and turned to his left, prepared to shout, only to find that rather than coming face to face with the wide grin and leering gaze of the cheshire cat poster on his door, he was facing a desolate street, one that would usually only fit in a natural disaster/war/monster movie. "Uh....ok this is definitely weird." Dimitri mumbled as he started to reach into his pocket to find his phone, however he froze about half way in when he noticed something about his hands. "Gloves?" He asked aloud as he brought his hand up to his face to confirm that he was indeed wearing gloves, they were grey in coloration and extended up to his elbows. Dimitri then noticed the change in the feeling of his clothing, after all the last time he checked, t-shirts did NOT feel like leather nor did they lack sleeves, his jeans weren't nearly as baggy, and, unless he was crazy, a pair of worn converses didn't feel like fur lined moccasins. The boy slowly craned his head downward to look at himself, having hoped that his eyes would make sense of the madness, however his hopes found them selves dashed with gusto as he recognized all too well the dark clothing, and the short sword that hung from his right hip, as the garbs from his assassin character on Elder Scrolls. "No, it couldn't be. This has got to be a lucid dream." He said as he reached up and pinched his cheek, only to wince at the sharp pain.

Dimitri's brain seemed to cease functioning for a moment, then as it fired up it came up with but a single word; "What.". It wasn't a question, the inflection that implied Dimitri was asking something was not there, it was as if his mind had done a full system reboot to keep itself from going insane with the new found knowledge of its situation, and that single word was the start up sound. Dimitri's jaw tensed as he ground his teeth together and his eye twitched ever so slightly, it was his equivalent to a full scale melt down by a normal person. Dimitri's mental break down was immediately interrupted by a small bar appearing in front of his face: Accept/Decline Makoto. Dimitri, having regained his composure raised his hand and hesitantly tapped the 'accept' option as a small thanks to this Makoto fellow for helping him grasp his sanity once more, "I wonder...", Dimitri said. Once the screen disappeared Dimitri kept his hand up and extended it in a pushing motion, then smirked as the GUI appeared. It was time for him to learn just what was going on.

"Hia!" And the call was disconnected. The first greeting he got was an abrupt 'Hi' that ended in less than a fraction of a second. The sharp intonation of Aurora's face pierced deep into Aren's ears causing his head to flinch the other way close to busting his eardrums open and bleed. Luckily that wasn't the case though.

"Well at least Aurora's okay." The open HUD in front of him appeared to look frozen and suspended-- Aren looked so excited to be observing the surrealism of what he's looking at right now and felt like his eyes were fitted with some cybernetic technology. "It's possible! It's a dream after all, right?" He feels the wind blowing directly into him, pushing his leg down into the snow. That felt way too real. He looked to the HUD again this time with a notification appearing over the top of all the menus which read;

Touma requests you to be added to your Friendlist.
Accept.
Decline.

"Ah. Makoto. I wonder what he's doing on his alt--" He pushed the accept tab and quickly realised. "Oh yeah. Can't log out." He stopped for a moment, taking in to the entire surroundings as he looked around Akihabra that was covered in snow and several people running in armor with weapons and canes and inspecting his own self at that matter that he steadily came to a staggering realisation. "Not being able to log out, weapons and armors being worn everywhere… Friend requests and everything…" He connected the dots, before groaning onto the ground. "Goddammit! I'm stuck in this game!" He rolled around on the snow for several moments before looking ot the clear blue sky above. "This place looks damn real to me." The sky couldn't be seen rotating. He didn't know if it was just still image or a real thing.

The people in the middle of the town were becoming restless. It felt like they've seen something or something's happened all of a sudden and it got their attention. A crowd was building up surrounding someone or something in the middle. Aren stood to his feet and approached the pooling crowd. "Hey, hey what's going on?" He asked one of the bystanders near the crowd, to which she answered;

"Somebody's dead on the floor!" What? That couldn't be. Aren looked towards the center of the crowd, feet and bodies covering the view that he couldn't see at the center of the group. Aren took control of them by speaking as loud as possible.

"Alright everyone make way! Coming through!" Aren pushed and shoved the group of people. After realising that it was him whom had shouted, they finally gave way and saw the person lying the ground with their hand on their stomach, seemingly bleeding. As his HUD checks out Aren was pulled into a surprise. "Lily? What happened to you?" He held her up to a seated position, moving her hand away from the wound and inspecting it. The people were still around looking and becoming curious. "I got this! You guys can go about your business." He noticed that Lily was suffering from a Bleed debuff and so removed a Cure-All Potion from his inventory and fed the liquid to Lily with his hand. "Here this'll make it better."

GHLily didnt know what to do, her whole body was dead, she couldnt move nothing. She could hear people being concerned but other then that, nothing she could move. But then she could hear a very family voice, a few seconds later she could feel her whole body being healed, cured. And it felt amazing because she could finally move again! Slowly opens her eyes she noticed her friend, Aren. "....Aren...thank you..." Lily gave him a small smile, it was nice seeing him again. Lily stood up from the ground slowly and looked around the town that they were at. "Where are we...?" She asked a little confused, but her head turned at Aren once again. "Why are you here? I didn't need your help." And now her attitude was kicking in. h

As a crowd of people began to converge in a certain spot, Dimitri -having more or less surmised logging out wasn't an option thanks to over hearing other players- dropped his GUI and followed the crowd out of curiosity. "Alright everyone make way! Coming through!", Dimitri's ears perked as he recognized the voice in the middle of the crowd, "Ōkami? Is that you man?", he asked as he slipped through the crowd. Upon entering the middle, Dimitri found himself staring at two people rather than the originally perceived one, however he recognized both from past experiences, "Lily? You and Ōkami are here too? Do either of you know what's going on?". Under normal circumstances, Dimitri would have begun with a polite greeting, however his current situation required that he dispose with pleasantries and acquire as much vital information as possible.

After allow Lily to digest the potion, he felt her body slowly coming back to life. Her head tilted itself up and her eyes looked at Aren who was holding her up on the ground. It was a good thing that she recognised who was helping her. "Aren... Thank you..." He noticed that she wasn't reacting like she usually was, but thought nothing of it as he pats her back several times. "Where are we...?"

"Come on up now." He said, tugging her arms up to help her stand on her two feet.

"Why are you here?! I didn't need your help!" Her sudden change of attitude caught Aren by surprise yet again. He felt his own body jumping as she snapped within a subatomic second.

"It's not like I wanted to! You were bleeding!" Aren defended himself. Another voice came into his ears being distinctively different and male in nature. He look to the drection of the voice, seeing Bootsy appearing along the dissipating crowd of people and stared. What was wrong with him? Why's he staring at them?

"Lily? You and Ōkami are here too? Do either of you know what's going on?" Bootsy seemed lost just as much as they were it seems. Aren didn't exactly know how to respond either, to which he left his answer to a casual shrug.

"This looks like Elder Scrolls alright... I think we might just be stuck in here." He added. "How've you been Bootsy? And you too Lily!" He prepared himself to be glared at by her already, retreating himself to Bootsy as quickly as possible should it happen.

Lily turned seeing Dimitri as she smiled at him. "Hey! You are here too? Thats nice. And I dont know, what's going on. Im pretty confused as well." She sighed and now turned towards Aren. As she rolled her eyes at him "Alrighty. Thanks, I guess?" Lily looked down at her nails, right now she was supposed to be in her tour. Thankfully they didnt know who she really was. Lily now looked at both of the boys, as she crossed her arms close to her chest. "What do we do now?"

"Well...i've been worse." Dimitri said as Aren mentioned his confusion and followed up with an inquiry as to how Dimitri was. The boy looked around a bit as the crowd began dispersing, "Man, so we're really stuck here, huh? Not exactly my idea of nice, but hey, at least I didn't end up next to a spawn point for an enemy." he said as he scratched the back of his head a bit. His thoughts were interrupted as he felt Aren retreat behind him, likely anticipating some sort of aggressive reaction from Lily, which in turn elicited a sigh from the assassin. "Ōkami, i'm not a guardian class you know. Hiding behind me won't get you very far man." Dimitri said, although he made no move to force his friend to get from behind him.

Aurora

Still had 10 minutes before her 'Aerial Wings' Go out and so she decided too watch her friends, " Interesting..heheh... " She thought and thought it over and so she finally decided she was going to be the lord peeping, canceling the VIA-Call...she'd slide her finger through the air and the GUI would appear, tapping onto the friends icon, clicking on there name and thus two options appeared on an a bar. Clicking on the option too list there location, seemingly near the cities center nodding. Blasting her way there her wings went out and landed on a building, right ontop of them.

(Aurora will be watching you all..as youj fight and as you progress making this world a better place....Fighting!)

The sigh from Bootsy was anticipated by Aren. "Ōkami, I'm not a guardian class you know. Hiding behind me won't get you very far man." He could only snicker and emerge from Bootsy's back, scratching his head as a result of his realisation that he was the Monk.

"Ah yes... I'm the punching bag of the team right?" He laughed, before contemplating on Lily's question. "What should we do?" He thought to himself looking at Lily and then Bootsy. "Stuck in a game with no idea what's going to happen to us... What should we do?" Perhaps he needed to go back to basics. For example, learning combat. He gestured his hand and invited Bootsy and Lily into the party. "I think we should see how combat works." He suggested.

[Grey]

"Tch."

Makoto sighed loudly once his call request was denied. Fortunately his remaining friend requests were accepted by Bootsy and Okami, which meant he could probably find their location easily enough. There wasn't any mini-map anymore, which meant he couldn't just follow the relevant icon to reach their location, unfortunately. Rather inconvenient, but whatever. Beggars can't be choosers. He swiped into his GUI and, with a few button presses, managed to fire off a conference call.

Once he'd dealt with that, Makoto got up from his seat, wiped digital dust off his digital clothing, and picked began to make his way towards the nearest town. His class wasn't one meant for combat, unfortunately, and all his quirky character building wasn't really enough to tip the scales into a satisfactory risk vs reward ratio.
