[The One]

The gong was sounded, the trumpets were blown, the war drums could be heard. This was the sound of the finals. The tournaments were coming to an end, there were only two fighters left and whoever won would get a tour around the castle, and to meet the princess. Princess Seninia sat with her mother and father beside her, high on top of the arena, there she watched all the battles, and so far, like every single time, every single year, she predicted the winner. It was amazing, she knew who exactly was going to win. There, the crowd cheered and waited for Princess Seninia's decision. Who was going to win? She stood up slowly, and stepped forward. She also had to make a small speech for the two fighters. She really didn't like the tournaments. She hated fighting, violence was never the answer.

"I congratulate you two, Tygra and Leo. You have come far in this tournament, you have worked hard, but now the tournament is at an end. I can already see who the winner is. Congratulations Tygra, and I am sorry Leo. For many years now, I have been called a miracle child. Ever since I began predicting the fights. These tournaments are no longer what they used to be, it is no longer entertaining, knowing who wins."

She then sat herself down and sighed, and as she did, Leo quickly got angry, in fact, he got so angry, he began to shout and swear at Princess Seninia. Then, he took it one step too far, he threw a knife at her which of coursed was stopped by one of her guards.

"You will pay, you will suffer for what you have done! Tomorrow night, your death will be certain! I will make sure of it! You will regret not making me the winnder!"

The King quickly stood up straight after and stared down at Leo. He didn't care if Leo had of won or not, even if he did, he was not to see Princess Seninia now. He had just threatened her life, and that he was not having. Guards quickly rushed in and grabbed Leo, holding him down.

"Leo! You have just decided your fate! You will regret ever threatening Princess Seninia. One man cannot change a thing, especially when they are no longer living! There isn't anyone, who can defeat the Royal Guards. Princess Seninia is perfectly safe, I guarantee that. Guards, take him away!"

He then watched as the guards took him away, he smiled and sat down. Tygra was now the winner. Princess Seninia then stood up once more and stepped up, she looked down to Tygra with a sigh.

"Congratulations on your win. You will have the honor of meeting me, as well as a personal tour around the castle. You will have your chance to ask any questions to me as you wish. Come back tomorrow at 12:00 to claim you prize money and take your tour."

She sat herself down, and the crowd all cheered. Leo may of died, but at least there was no fighting. She preferred that. She hated when she had to watch the fights, she sighed and then looked up to the sky. She had a bad feeling about all of this.

Tygra

as Tygra and Leo got ready to fight, the princess announced who the winner would be, as she did Leo started to flip out and threaten the princess, as guards ran to the ring to arrest him they started to take them away while the princess began to congratulate him on his victory, as she did Tygra heard the Princess's father say ,

"Leo! You have just decided your fate! You will regret ever threatening Princess Seninia. One man cannot change a thing, especially when they are no longer living! There isn't anyone, who can defeat the Royal Guards. Princess Seninia is perfectly safe, I guarantee that. Guards, take him away!"

Tygra then looked up to the Princess and her father and said,

"I haven't won anything yet, and I know you said a dead man can't change anything but what about a living one? And as for nobody being able to defeat the Royal Guards, I'd like to put that to a test."

As he finished speaking, Tygra ran at the Royal Guards who had arrested Leo. He jumped in the air, span round and kicked them both in the face sending them flying back. He then pushed Leo back into the ring and jumped back in himself. He then looked back to the Princess and her father and said,

"Now I don't care what you plan on doing with Leo or what trouble I might get in for attacking the Royal Guards all I know is I entered this tournament for two reasons. The first was the prize money, the second but no less important was to test my skills against the best fighters around. So I am not letting you execute Leo before I have a chance to kick his ass. So if it's all the same to you, Leo is about to get his head kicked in."

Rex of course stood by the Princesses side, he watched how the events of the final fight took place,seeing Leo react badly to the Princesses decision. He quickly caught the knife which was thrown at her, and then threw it down onto the ground. After hearing what Tygra said he nodded. He had a point. There was no fight, which meant no real victory. He stood forward a moment, watching Leo closely as the crowd now cheered for the two fighters. It seemed they wanted the fight to happen, not surprising really, after all, it was the reason they all came, to see the fight.

"You have a point Tygra. There is no victory, if there is no fight. Normally we don't do this kind of thing, and maybe the King will consider after what has took place, but, we can make this into a death match. That way, we all get what we want. You get to fight, and Leo gets executed. I for one know the thrill to fight, so I can understand why you would want to, but I will tell you something. No matter what you say, one man cannot change anything. You simply caught the guards off guard."

He stepped back and stood beside the princess once more, as he did, he turned to the King, to see what he would want to do.

[The One]

The King had watched, to see the guards rush up and grab Leo and Tygra now. He then turned to listen to Rex, a death battle sounded pretty interesting right now. He smiled, he didn't mind at all. He stood up and looked upon the crowd who continued to roar out loud. He knew that they all wanted it. He turned to the princess and nodded to her slightly, then went back to the fighters.

"Release them! As of now, a death battle it will be! Whoever stands alone in the ring will be the one who takes the prize money and meets the princess, but I have to say Tygra, you got guts for attacking the Royal Guards, I like guts. Guts is exactly what we need. You win the battle, and I will make sure that money is never a problem for you."

He then sat down as the guards threw the two to the floor. The gates closed and Princess Seninia sighed sadly. She looked over to Rex, and then to Tygra. It wasn't over yet, she knew that things were about to get much more worse.

Tygra

Tygra and Leo got us off the ground and turned to face each other. Tygra had his usual cocky grin on his face as he looked to Leo saying it would be fun. Leo still pissed off, was getting even more annoyed by Tygra's cocky and laid back attitude. Leo had a evil grin on his face as he turned to thank Tygra saying.

"Thanks for saving my life Tygra, before you stepped in I was going to be executed with no chance of getting out of it. Now all I need to do is kill you and I'm home free."

Saying this Leo ran at Tygra as he swung his right fist to punch him in the face. Tygra took the punch and fell to the ground as Leo jumped on him and continued to punch him in the face over and over again. Tygra didn't even flinch, he still had that cocky grin on his face as he brought his legs up behind Leo, he hooked his legs onto Leo's arms and slammed his legs back to the ground pulling Leo off him. He flipped off the ground and landed on his feet. He then looked at Leo as he was getting off the ground and said,

"Don't worry I am not going to kill you, at least not least not yet. We have to make sure the fans get their money worth especially after all that hassle before the fight."

After saying this Tygra dropped his guard, letting Leo get back on his feet. Leo hearing Tygra's words got even angrier. He ran at Tygra who quickly raised his guard once again, Leo began to launch a fierce attack of punches and kicks. Tygra dodged and blocked some of the attacks but let most of them hit, he also countered with a few attacks of his own, but making sure they were slow enough to make sure Leo could block or dodge every one. To the untrained eye, this would look like Tygra was losing the fight, so much so even Leo began to believe it but all the while Tygra was stepping further and further back towards the ropes, and once his back reached the ropes, he grabbed Leo's arm on the next punch, he then turned round and kicked Leo's leg from under him and threw Leo out of the ring. He went flying over the ropes and landed on one of the guards spears who stood outside the ring watching the fight. The spear went through Leo's heart as Leo fell to the ground and knocked over the guard. Leo rolled over onto his back with a spear sticking out of his chest as he was coughing out blood, he looked to Tygra and said,

"Lucky bastard I would of won if wasn't for that lucky block and you throwing me out the ring."

As Leo saying this he was losing a lot of blood, he began to lose consciousness, as he bled out on the floor, as the crowd was cheering over Leo's death, Tygra stood in the ring looking a little bored and disappointed, he was expecting Leo to put up a better fight, if he known he was this weak, he wouldn't of stop the guards from taking him away in the first place.

Rex smiled, now the death match was official. He watched the battle go on, it was clear that Tygra was letting Leo get the upper hand, but, he continued to watch now. The winner had already been announced, so he wasn't expecting Tygra to lose any time soon. When the battle ended, he gave a soft yawn. He had to admit, that was a bit of a bore. He would of thought the fighters would be stronger for a final. He shrugged, he didn't really care anyway, he gave a small applause and then turned to the Princess, the battles were over now, the crowd cheered. He simply stood watching now, waiting for the Princess to end the show.

[The One]

Princess Seninia watched the battle, she knew Tygra wasn't struggling, after all she had seen enough fights to know a losing battle when she saw one. She also knew he was going to win. When the battle was over, she stood up and stepped forward. The crowd cheered loudly, she watched everyone as she waited for everyone to calm down. When they finally did, she gave a small smile to Tygra.

"Once again, congratulations. Make sure you arrive at the castle by 12:00 tomorrow. We will have your prize then. You may leave now, I will see you tomorrow."

She then began to leave with her mother and father, as well as Rex. Hours then went by, the tournament was now over. Princess Seninia slept soundlessly, the Necklace which she wore glowed brightly as she slept. Suddenly, she began to shiver and her eyes began to twitch a little. It glowed brighter and brighter more, then, it suddenly stopped. When it did, she rested peacefully once again, until after midnight, when suddenly she woke up. She looked around to see the entire castle was in flames. She ran out of her room to see that all the guards were dead. Suddenly, a guard ran up to her, and began to quickly shout.

"Princess! We need to get you to safety! The castle is being attacked, follow me to the closest escape route!"

She nodded and ran with the guard towards the escape route, but as soon as they arrived, they came to three assassins. The ones which had killed everyone. Fang stepped forward, she held up her kuni star and threw it towards the guard, which quickly chopped his head off.

"There we go! Now, you're coming with us sweetly!"

She smiled, and then walked over the the dead guard, she picked him up by the neck and pulled her mask down, showing her two sets of teeth. She then bit into the neck of the guard, leaving a huge hole and thew him to the side. She laughed, as she chewed on his flesh. Every single guard had a huge bite mark the size of a great white probably even bigger. The reason for this was because she could dislocate her jaw and stretch her mouth slightly over the limits. She laughed and covered her face once more as she grabbed the princess. Flash simply watched and waited as Slade looked away, he hated the sight of this. It wasn't right. There was a total of 800 guards, every single one of them were dead, all, expect one of course.

Tygra

Tygra headed home after the fight and helped his father on the farm. As it began to get late Tygra and his father was about to go bed but he saw the castle on fire and heard the painful screams of the guards. Tygra ran to the castle as fast as he could. When he got there he saw the dead bodies of the guards scattered around with a huge bite mark out of all of them. At this point it was pretty obvious somebody was here to assassinate a member of the Royal Family. As Tygra sighed and thought to himself,

'Damn don't they feed the assassin's around here? Nobody should be that hungry that they have to turn cannibal to get their next meal. Although it does give them motivation to get the job done, you don't kill, you don't eat'

He then tried to go through the front door which was stuck and would not open. Probably due to the fact the dead bodies were blocking the way. He then stepped back and looked for another way in. He ran to the castle wall and started to run up the wall, he would take a few steps up and then jumped off to the next wall and repeated this until he reached the top. Once there he saw one of the assassins take a bite out of the headless guards. As soon as he saw her, he recolonized her and remembered her eat her competitor in one of the tournament death matches years ago. He then looked to her and said,

"You know if you're hungry, my dad owns a farm five minutes away and my mom runs a restaurant right next to it, You don't have to actually eat your prey to get a meal. But eating them is one thing, but did you really have to cut off that guy's head? I mean you have heard of the headless horsemen right? Well I am sure everyone here doesn't want a headless guard roaming the halls."

After saying this Tygra took out his two trench knifes and jumped off the banister onto Fang's shoulder's then jumped off them to land in front of the princess. He then looked to her and said,

"So did your guards know they were coming for dinner tonight or to be more accurate that they were going to be the appetizers. Well either way, at least the main course will fight back."

Ge then turned to face Fang and pulled out yet another knife and handed it to Fang and said,

"You got a piece of that guy stuck in your teeth, you might want to get that."

[The One]

Rex awoke to see that the castle was on fire, he suddenly shot up and ran out of his room to see what was going on, when he saw bodies scattered around everywhere. He quickly ran towards the princesses room to see she was already gone. He had to make sure she was safe though, so she went to the escape route, only to see the assassins which killed everyone, he also noticed the tournament champion. He walked up beside him and pulled out his sword.

"What are you doing here? You're not supposed to be here! You will simply get in the way. Let the proper authority handle this."

He turned to Fang, he remembered her from before, she was disqualified for eating her opponent. He gave a small smile and swung his sword slowly. This would be interesting, he always wanted to fight this crazy bitch, but he was never able to, sadly. He shrugged, oh well. Now, he had his chance to prove he was the strongest.

"I remember you, foul beast. I guess you're unlucky. If I were not here, you may of had a chance of killing the princess, but, now that I'm here, well, that dream has faded away. You've met your match. You assassins will wish you never met me! You, Tygra. Let me handle these three pipsqueaks. You go off home. We'll meet again at the tour of yours. Doen't worry about me, there ain't nothing in this world that's a challenge for me. Especially some weak ass assassin."

He grabbed and stopped his sword from spinning, and then got ready to fight, there was nothing that could stop him. He smiled, and ran at Fang which his sword, when he reached her, he jumped and flipped up in the air to do a spinning slash.

[The One]

Fang quickly grabbed Rex's leg with her kuni star and then flung him back down to the ground. She laughed, it seemed she had some old friends, she stepped forward as she raised all the guards which had been killed. Except for the headless guard. She then summoned them to her, until they all stood their ground around the room. She laughed evilly, ignoring Tygra's comment beforehand.

"You really don't know who you're messing with, don't you? Well, let me show you!"

She roared loudly and suddenly she sunk into the shadows of one of the guards. Suddenly, she rose up and threw her Kuni star at Tygra, but the moment after, she came up again from a different shadow, throwing another star, finally, a third copy threw another star, the one going for Tygra, one for Rex and one for the princess. It seemed she was using the shadows to travel. Then Flash stepped up.

"That isn't all. We're no ordinary assassins. We all have powers."

He then teleported behind Tygra, and then went to grab his arms to twist them, this would make him drop all his weapons as he held them against his back. Another copy of him teleported behind Rex, then the princess, doing the same thing. Next but not least was Slade. He simply stood there, not saying a word, and covering his face under his hood, he had no idea what to do, he felt so left out. He had no powers, he was, just weak. He wasn't even sure why he was sent to such a dangerous mission. Slade simply stepped back until his back hit the wall, simply watching for now.

Tygra

Tygra listened to Rex and replied,

"Ummm, last time I checked most of the proper authorities are dead all except you who was taking a nap, I mean seriously, are you telling me you didn't have time to change from those pajamas and who the hell gets pajamas custom made to have a picture of themselves on their Pajamas, how vain can you be?"

Tygra then watched Rex attack and get thrown to the floor. Tygra smirked and as Rex picked himself up,Tygra looked at him and said,

"Epic Fail, let me show you how it is done"

But before Tygra could do anything, the two assassin's split into three, the three Fangs all threw a kuni star at Tygra, Rex and the Princess. The three Flash's teleported behind them and tried to grab them. Tygra flipped behind the Flash that tried to grab him and pushed him into the oncoming kuni star. The star stabbed the Flash in the chest. Killing the clone. Tygra then pulled the star out of his chest and snapped it in half. He then threw the two halves at the two Flash's, he hit the one which held the princess in the head, killing the clone. As the last halve of the kuni star flew towards the last Flash's head Tygra pulled down one of the curtains and tied it to the banister, and tied the other half to the princess and threw her off the banister, landing her safely on the ground. He then shouted to her to run as he turned round to see how the proper authorities were handling the situation.

Rex was suddenly flung down, he looked back up when suddenly a kuni star was coming right for him, he watched to see the second assassin try and grab everyone, he quickly smashed his elbow into the assassin behind him, then flung him forward, smashing the star as well as him to the ground. He finished it off with a quick snap of the neck. He then looked to see how Tygra threw the princess off.

"You fool! What are you doing? Ever considered there might be assassin's outside? And the princesses safety is my only concern. Getting dressed was the last thing on my list!"

He looked to Fang, or, the Fangs and smiled, he grabbed the other half of the star, and then threw it right back at her, then he ran up to another Fang while throwing his sword at a third. Once he reached the last Fang, he slid on the ground and went to do a kicking uppercut while the sword and star went for the other two.

[The One]

Fang grabbed the incoming star, and repaired it using her darkness power, the other Fang grabbed the sword, and then the last Fang grabbed his foot. Each one then began to pour dark energy into the objects. Each one would quickly become a dark purple color. Once she had injected the darkness into Rex, she snapped his leg and thew him to the side. The two fangs then threw the sword and star, multiplying it by a hundred. Each one coming straight for Rex.

"What happened to, 'Doen't worry about me, there ain't nothing in this world that's a challenge for me. Especially some weak ass assassin?' After all, you seem to be struggling."

She laughed and disappeared into the darkness again. She didn't care if he brother had just died, the only thing that mattered was the mission. She came up in front of Tygra, then pulled down her mask. She dislocated her jaw and screamed in his face, showing her two set of teeth.

"Dinner time!"

She quickly cloned herself once more, so she was surrounding him completely, then each one went to bite him. As she did this, guards armed themselves with bow and arrows, and began to fire towards Tygra.

Tygra

Tygra watched as the proper authorities got his leg broken, he then listened to Fang and looked to the proper authorities, and said.

"Yeah you know what, I guess I never really did think there might be assassins out there when I was running here from my farm and taking that exact same path. Well then again I guess my eyesight might be failing me in my old age but what the hell, gotta take a gamble once in a while, right?"

He said sarcastically. He then continued,

"Well, I suppose if I was watching my own back, I probably wouldn't want to get changed either, but personally, I think you might want to get somebody else to watch your back. I mean the proper authorities don't seem to be doing their job. I mean hell, when I arrived they were all dead and one was taking a nap. Now, there helping the assassins and one has his leg broken. Doesn't inspire much confidence. I guess the King was right, you deferentially need more guts around here. If only to replace the ones spilled on the floor. After all, no guts no glory, right?"

As he finished saying this Fang took off her mask and roared in his face, his eyes began to water from the burning sensation coming from her bad breath. He calmly looked her in the eye and said,

"I think you need a breath mint. On second thought, why don't you take the whole pack?"

With that he threw a pack of breath mints down her throat, and then picked out a piece of meat from her teeth and continued.

"See I told you that you had a piece of that guy stuck in your teeth. You know, you should really brush them more often unless you want them all to fall out, unless how would you take a bite out of your prey?"

Just as he said that, the Fanged clones tried to take a bite out of him. As he jumped over one of the clones he hooked his feet under the arms of the one behind him and grabbed the head of the one he was jumping over. As he flipped over the first clones head he threw the second clone with his feet into the path of the shadow swords and stars, as his feet hit the ground he threw the first clone also into the path of the shadow swords and stars. The shadow swords and stars killed them and saving Rex again. He then did a leg sweep on the last Fanged clone and Fang knocking them to the ground. As he jumped on the banister, and then jumped off of it over the on coming arrows which now headed towards Fang and her clone. He landed by the once dead guard, and noticing the only guard who didn't come back was the one with it's head chopped off. He began to spin around chopping off the heads of the guards as their lifeless bodies fell to the ground he watched as the arrows closed in on Fang and her clone.

Rex quickly felt the darkness seeping into him, he then winched in pain as his leg was snapped. He was thrown down against the floor, now being attacked by a hundred swords and stars. It was then when Tygra threw two of the clones in the way of them, killing them. He watched as he then dodged the arrows, and made them attack Fang and the other clone. He clenched his fist, hearing what he had to say.

"Quiet fool!" I would of handled this much better without your interference, I have the right mind to tell the king of this. I can still fight. There isn't anything I can't handle!"

He then forced himself up and looked to Fang. He would finish this once and for all. He picked up one of the swords and smiled. He was not done for yet, he could still fight.

[The One]

Suddenly all the swords and stars transformed into anaconda's, but as they did, Fang was struck by the arrows, killing her in the process. The swords and stars all disappeared except for the originals. Now, only one assassin remained, Slade, who was still against the wall, he had been watching the entire thing. If they couldn't handle these two guards, then who could? He stood there, shivering. He was trapped. Princess Seninia came walking through the doors again, she looked around, then saw Rex's leg. It looked bad, almost the entire leg was now dark purple. She ran up to him and sat down.

"Wow, wh-what happened? This looks really bad! The assassins, they're all dead now. Thank you Tygra for saving me, but, you really shouldn't of."

She sighed and stood up. Moments later the King and Queen ran in, they hugged Princess Seninia and looked towards Rex, The King slowly approached Rex slowly, his expression wasn't a good one at all.

"So, let me get this straight, all my Royal Guards, which were meant to be protecting my only daughter, are dead, except one which looks like he just got of bed who now has a broken, and what looks to be a dangerously infected leg which could do anything! Tygra, I assume you are the one which saved my daughter? I owe you much more than two hundred grand and a tour now. I was considering of letting you join my Royal Guards before, but now, well now I have made up my mind. I understand the situation with your family, this will give you plenty of money to live by. After all I pay well. Extra to those who actually do their job. Don't make a decision right away, come think about it and come see me and my wife later. Thank you. Rex, come with me. You'll have to spend the rest of the night in bed until we get somebody to look at that leg of yours."

With that he gave him a check of two hundred thousand, then he left, taking Rex to his bedroom to rest, and leaving Princess Seninia alone with Tygra. Princess Seninia looked to Tygra and sighed, she was hoping she wouldn't come, but, she had seen this coming long before it happened. She walked to the balcony and stood there, she knew this wasn't the end.

"You do know, that you can't join the Royal Guards. You just can't. I won't let you. It doesn't matter what you did, in fact, it just made it much worse. You got what came for, now leave! You and you're family can live of the money you just got, don't be greedy. I won't allow you to kill yourself! If you join the Royal Guards, you will regret it. You don't know what's coming, but I do, I always know. Don't be an idiot!"

She now got up in his face, but as she did, she cried a tear, she then stopped, she turned around, to see the only assassin left, hiding in the shadows. She had never seen him before, he was hidden so well, it was practically impossible to notice him.

"There is still another one? Is he dangerous? I hope so."

She slowly walked up to him and knelled down, she placed a hand on Slade's, then smiled calmly. Slade simply stared, he looked down for a moment, and then pulled a dagger out of his utility belt. He looked up to the princess, now very confused, he had a perfect chance to kill her.

"Why? Who are you? Why don't you kill me?"

He looked to Tygra and armed himself, thinking it was some kind of trap. He was trapped, against the wall, no escape. He was dead either way. There was nothing he could do. He sighed, and simply dropped the dagger.

"Just kill me. You were going to do it anyway. After all, I am just another assassin. I'm no different."

He sighed and simply waited for Tygra to finish him off, as she did, Princess Seninia looked to him, seeing what he would do now.

Tygra

Tygra took the check of the King and thanked him, as Rex was carried past him, Tygra looked at Rex with a cocky grin on his face and said,

"Oh don't worry Rex, I'm sure your leg will be just fine, after all what's some bed rest and a infection going to do to you? After all we all know the proper authorities can handle anything."

He then listened to the princess and replied,

"To be honest, I probably would of refused the job as it wouldn't leave much time for training or tournaments and my family has always been fine for money, I mean sure we struggle every so often but we always get it when we need it, but the way you're talking makes it sounds like you almost wanted to die here, and the way you talk about what's coming makes it sound like it will be a amazing challenge, and I just can't resist a good challenge, and as for me throwing my life away, I'm not afraid to die, and mean you really think I would enter a tournament where the losers are executed if I was. I don't consider it throwing my life away, I think of it as living on the edge, and in case you didn't notice I am more than capable of taking care of myself. I have not yet found myself in a situation that I couldn't think, talk or fight myself out of."

He then saw as the princess walked up to the third assassin and said she hoped he was dangerous. He then walked over to the princess and said,

"You're going to be disappointed, this whole fight he stood here shaking while watching the battle. He's not dangerous. In fact if I had to guess sending him on this mission could only be one of two things. First and least likely being some kind of test to see if he had what it takes to be an assassin in which case the other two would have made him attack first. The second and most likely is they already decided that he doesn't have what it takes and sent him here to die."

As Tygra finished saying that, Slade dropped his dagger, he then walked over and picked up his dagger, then continued.

"The fact that you don't have what it takes to be an assassin isn't a bad thing. It just means either, you're a kind person who doesn't like killing in cold blood or you're not cut out to be a fighter. Now trust me when I say I know a fighter when I see one, and when I look at you, I can see you are scared but fear can help keep you alive, but I also see a lot of potential. I mean you're standing there afraid of us, but instead of running or begging for you're life, you're standing there ready to face the consequences of your actions. I don't know if you know this but true courage is not the absence of fear; true courage is having the bravely to do what has to be done in spite of fears or foes. The fact that you are standing here facing your fear proves you have courage which is one of the most important things a fighter must have. Everything else can be taught, but you can't teach somebody to have courage, and to answer your question, I'm not going to kill you. Like you I don't kill people in cold blood, I only kill people in defense of myself or others but considering only myself and the princess knows you were here we can just let you go, and if you would like I can even teach you to fight to help defend yourself and others."

Rex was taken away, he clenched his fist when Tygra spoke to him, he would get his revenge, he wouldn't allow him to ruin his repetition. Once he was settled in his bed, he laid himself down with a sigh. He could tell that the darkness was quickly spreading, he didn't know what it would do, but it wasn't good. He didn't know what else to do now. There was nobody who was able to look at his leg, so, he would have to wait, and he didn't know how long he could wait for. He would not let himself die, he would survive no mater what, he clenched his fist once more and closed his eyes, trying to let himself rest for now.

Princess Seninia and Slade listened to Tygra talk, Princess Seninia sighed, she walked around the room a moment, wondering what to do. It seemed he was going to join the Royal Guards either way. She looked to Slade once more, Tygra was right, he was no fighter, and she had never seen him before, which was a good sign, a very good sign. She smiled for a moment and then looked back to Tygra.

"You really don't get it. Tomorrow you are going to die. I have seen your death. It will happen. Trust me. You do not want to join, because if you do, the army that you will face is unbelievable. It is best that you take your family and run, because tomorrow it will be too late. Sure a challenge is one thing, but going to a battle which cannot be won, no, that is not what a smart and logical person would do. Any normal man would start running, as far from here as possible, and that assassin, if he has been sent here to die, then won't they just hunt him later?"

Slade quickly pulled out a sword and stared at them both, he was not weak, he was not afraid, he was strong, he was a fighter! He would prove that. He ran over and quickly slashed at the princess, this would of certainly killed her but at the last second, he stopped himself, cutting off some of her hair. He fell to his knees and began to cry. He resented the fact that he was weak.

"No. I can't do it. I'm weak. How can I trust you? Nobody can be trusted in this world. If I leave, they will find me and kill me anyway. They sent me to do a mission. They would never send me to die! They wouldn't do that! I'm strong, and a good thief. They need me. I'm not afraid, I was just waiting for a time to strike. Don't talk to me like I'm a friend! I can train myself, I don't need liars to like you. If I was a kind person, then I would of never have become an assassin. A assassin kills in cold blood, without hesitation. If you don't kill me, then you will simply use me. I can't trust you, I can't trust anyone."

He stood up and then looked around, he slowly looked down and stepped back to the balcony. He quickly jumped off and ran away, he had no other choice, he couldn't trust them no matter what. Princess Seninia sighed and then slowly walked away.

"He will be back. I know it. I have a bad feeling, if you really want to stay, if you want to die, then feel free to talk to dad."

She sighed, and continued to walk away, she went into her room and into her bed. It was late, and she needed sleep for tomorrow morning. After all, it wouldn't be too long before the army comes. She closed her eyes and soon drifted off.

Meanwhile, way past the mountains, to a far off volcano, there was something stirring. It was a secret entrance just underground leading underneath the surface of the mountain. It was there that stood the leader of the assassins. He watched a screen which foretold of all the members of the guild, those who were out, and those who were in. He saw that two of the assassins had died, and the one he had sent off was still alive, probably running away. He smashed his fist int a table as he screamed.

"Dammit all to hell! How hard can it possibly be to take on the Royal Guards and bring me one princess? That's it! I've had with that god damn princess!"

He then pressed a button which activated an alarm, suddenly, an army of two hundred thousand armored suits suddenly came, shaking the entire mountain as they did.

"Go! Bring me the princess, and kill everyone else! I will make sure you will have some help."

The armored suits were so advanced, that they were mind linked, as well as making no sound whatsoever from they weight. Suddenly, the floor began to rise. And suddenly, the armored suits were on the surface. It was then when they began to silently march towards the castle.

The next morning, the princess woke up early. She looked around to see the castle was still ok. Luckily it seemed they still had time. She got out of bed and walked out the door, only to see Slade talking to Tygra.

"You have to go now, you never guess what I saw when I was gone, it was unbelievable. If you stay, you have no chance of surviving. You don't have long, and explaining will take too much time. Leave now, you are all in danger!"

He looked at the princess with a worried look, he didn't know why he was helping them, but it was the least he could do, since they let him live.
