[OOC] Dimensional Tavern

Welcome, weary travelers, to the humble little tavern in the middle of everywhere! Those of you coming to us from the interest check know all about the little arrangement we have here. Those of you unfamiliar with the tavern, let me explain how things work. First of all, all characters are accepted. It doesn't matter what universe your character originates from or how they came to be. Anything possible is possible. Superheros! Supervillains! Humans! Cats! Aliens! Demons! Stuffed Animals! Three Of The Same Guy! Your Childhood Imaginary Friend! Bigfoot! As long as you can come be them, be them here in the Dimensional Tavern of the Universe!

There are few restrictions other then the obvious. But before we go over rules, lets go over character sheets. Let it be known that the sheet template provided is the bare minimum sheet. It literally has everything required in order to be eligible for acceptance into the Tavern. If you cant meet the bare minimum, other then feeling sorry for you, I'll promptly have to embarrass you in front of everyone and say NO to your character. That said, feel free to add as much information as you like beyond what I've asked for. Tell you're characters life story. Describe every little detail pertaining to their diet or hair style. Include a short poem embodying their personality...or don't. It's up to you as long as you fill out these few bits of info.

Now was such a bad sheet template? See the part with "Extra Information" at the bottom? Put anything and everything you want about your character. Whats important are the four things above that. For appearance, an image of some sort it preferred. Any images from google or home made drawings are fine. However if you'd rather describe your characters looks with words, then that's fine too. Just try to be a detailed as you can so we all know what you look like. Now that we've covered your character sheet, we can go over the rules.

• 5 sentence minimum per post.


• Keep OOC in the OOC and IC in the IC. That also goes for placing OOC in parentheses. Just put it in the OOC.


• No controlling other players characters without consent from that player. Godmodding. Power playing. Whatever you want to call it.


• Inactivity for longer then 2 weeks without a reason why means death for your character. Message me please first if you must take a leave.


• Keep all criticism toward other peoples posts to inbox messages.


• Make sure your character has been accepted before posting in the IC. This thread is always accepting. Always.


• Be courteous and respectful to everyone. Good fact of life. Apply it here too.


• Use common sense. Most important rule.

Forever, the rules will be here for all of you to read as many times as it takes to remember them for the rest of your lives. Don't be shy. Now that you know the fundamentals of this roleplay and what it entails, lets give you an idea of whats going on in the first place. This is a Tavern open to all characters from any universe, existent or made up. This tavern is where said character come to drink, joke, jostle, and have general mad house fun not repeated in most other threads. Here you are free to play your character however you wish, keeping in mind you must fit within the confines of a rather small tavern. You may come and go as you please, preferably returning your character to their own dimension before you log off and stepping back through those doors when you come back. But some people do drink a bit much and pass out on the floor...or at their key board. So don't feel so bad if you forget to step out. Just remember lying on the ground for too long may end you up in some pretty shady places. So wake up soon!

Once you've gotten a fully completed character sheet up, wait for acceptance and the door for your character will open. Enjoy your stay and mind the rules!

Appearance: Simple black robes, with belts to holster a sword at his back. Shaved head, usually covered by hood sewn onto robes. Tanned skin.
Species: Human
Extra Information: A time-traveling oracle hailing from Carthage during the time of the Roman Empire, and named for one of its emperors.
Using the prophecy of the oracles, can predict movements in battle and adjust accordingly, but runs out of stamina quickly if overused.

Appearance: link He is a short, young-looking male. He seems to have the body of an 8 year-old. This is perfectly normal though, as his race apparently decides it. So, when people mistake him for a small boy who is lost, it gets him pissed off.
Species: His apparently unnamed species has this history:
years ago, 7 billion after the universe is believed to have started. Turbalio Octobrianus was the very first one of our race. He began speaking a language; Latin, that the humans have put into their own English. This does not mean that he MADE the Latin language, dunce sitting at the back of the class, it merely says that Latin is our native tongue. Maybe we are the descendants of another race; that's another story.

Now, this history isn't all that correct, simply because our race appeared 6 billion years ago, and we can only learn about half of that, because our people cannot survive that long. So, Octobrianus may have not been the first. He may have been the 7 millionth. But, he is also the most well known for reasons such as our economical thinking and government.

But, you may be thinking, Euclio, why have you no last name? Well, that is simply because, there is something different. After every three thousand years, the newest children of our race are a completely new family. The last family was the Septimianus, and now we are the whole new generation, so we have a different last name.

But, we all have to get together to make the said last name, in our 500th year of living, which is easy to get to in our race, unlike most Humans.
Extra Information: He is actually 78 years old, but his voice and appearance does not show it. 75-80 years old is like 7.5 years of age in Human years for his species. Which is one of the reasons why 500 years is easy to get to.

Species: Ellie is a "Witch", which are actually an Amazon-ish race of women with natural biological powers that are considered magic where they're from, an alternate version of our Earth.
Extra Information: Ellie has the ability to create portals by literally tearing her hand through the air. Other "magical" feats she can perform include shooting off sparks from her fingers, a sort of charm spell which is used to infatuate people with her(only usable on PCs with permission of course. >w<), and flight. She can perform other magic on top of those named, but it requires her to have her spellbook on her, which are really chants used as a sort of training wheel in her people's communities.
True to their Amazon-ish heritage, Witches are an all female society aside from the occasional man they allow into their land to bring about population growth. They don't really eat or sleep, truthfully, they feed off of the energy of males and can make one small meal last years if they try. They can all perform magic which is natural to their biology, and some witches can combine their magic skills to perform much larger spells.

Species: Factorio is a robot from an alternate Earth, coming from a future where robots have been given sentience. Most are drafted into military work, physical labour and things that regular humans could not Though, as they are sentient, they all have personalities and emotions. Well, most of them anyway.
Extra information: The sentient robots have randomly generated names and numbers when created. Nails can extend into claws or prongs and items are stored into the limbs and body. Grappling hooks are shot out of the wrists. Unlike what some movies may lead you to believe, no, they didn't go hell bent on human destruction. The ones that do are de-activated and destroyed. Factorio is six months old and a prototype of a new and improved type of robot for special OPs work with thermal vision, night vision, motion detection and most notably, cloaking.
