So ah...I didn't plan on any more of the actual pirate crew to show up. ^^;; I figured they could go with this crew until the next island. Then Ceres finds someone she wants on her crew, but he's at that time a captive of the marines. You can guess where that might go, and then the bunch of random pirates that just joined go 'fuck this, too dangerous for me' and leave. :P Ceres didn't say a word about killing by the way. Flushing away just means...you know, carrying them away on a wave of water. Probably making them hit some hard things and knocking them out. Some civilians will probably get caught too, but ah well. :P
As for the ship, yes a Caravel is pretty big. Normally a crew of 15 to 20 is needed. But who needs such a large crew when you select people for it, that can do the job of three, even four men single-handedly? It's not incredibly realistic, but like I said, in this rp people can get strong enough to punch through concrete, as an example. So idea was for them to find a few of 6 or so, use the extra space in the ship for, for instance, a small bathing room, a half-decent kitchen, an infirmary with room for 2 or so, etc. It might be a weird idea. But Ceres figures that if you basically live on your ship, and plan to sail the most dangerous sea in the world, you better come prepared, and have some comforts of a normal home to keep morale up.
