Dude, calm the hell down. One could say the same with you and Equestrians, which you've had three times longer, but no one's cursing about it. I see it an injustice, especially how you treated Rogue and his stuff, since you pretty much did bigger and more powerful than he did.

No not really. Rogue always did bigger and better
And the Equestrians were different, they were not a godmod, generic, and powerplay mess. They actually accompanied a interesting story.

I don't find cartoonified minihorses that can talk and giggle and shoot rainbows out their ass to ever make an interesting or logical story in a science fiction universe, ever.

The Draconians were, as ASTA or whoever said, simply a proud warrior [and warring] race of guys who liked to enhance themselves however possible. They were older and had more resources. And as said before, bigger and better doesn't always work; just makes a bigger target. And, Rogue did not have millions of ships and unexplainable energy that literally wiped out an entire race that spanned well over the MWG. He had like, less than a hundred thousand, maybe even less than ten thousand.

The Draconians had hundreds of races to work on breaking and entering in the virtual department. They weren't really generic, because they were big, powerful, they loved their sneaky little Crippler laser ships, and they had a giant lobster as a flagship before the Battleship X came about.

The Equestrians, on the other hand, were a race made on the whims of a minor goddess to complete this or that, and to spread peace through the galaxy. It turns out that peace means a giant military to stomp anyone who opposed, and took minor races into a 'Pact' to enslave them, more or less, and none of them ever grew prominent. Of course, you controlled every single one of them, many of them being from Mass Effect or some other game, being unoriginal, and they were all peaceful and Equestrian-loving and never had a real story. When shit hit the fan and Equestrians or Lance or whoever you play as begin to lose everything, you make them all explode. Literally. Several times.

I'm sorry duck, but while Rogue was overpowered, he was legit. Overpowered, but legit. And he had quite interesting stuff: The Supremes, which I later played, giant genetically-engineered creatures, even occasionally a flagship-on-flagship battle with a giant lobster ship and the Triarians' flagship, me thinks. All the Equestrians did was claim to spread peace while building a monstrosity of an army and hiding behind shields the entire time!

And sorry Keyguy, this is my last post in response to Duck. I'll be ignoring whatever else gibberish he sends me, unless it's through PM. I did actually send him a PM so he could complain about me or Rogue's actions through instead of on here, but he completely ignored it.

I don't know who rogue is and I don't care. If you are it does not matter to me at all. You are a logical, sensible and intelligent individual without power hungry gains and abuaive conduct. You are A-OK in my book

Cool. I'ma add that to my database of descriptions, which range from 'complete asshole' to 'perfect.' At this rate, I will be a very well-rounded individual.

Rogue was the guy that played as an overpowered race of Draconians, essentially 8-foot to 12-foot tall scaled light-blue warriors that cared only for war and conquest. Big and smart, they even replaced their brains with supercomputers, so that each soldier could communicate effortlessly and instantly with his squad and with command, and was part of an empire that spanned dozens of galaxies. Duck always called him bad things and always said he was god-moding and metagaming. The Draconians just had thousands of years of practice breaking into secure files, into enemy ships and into enemy bunkers. Overpowered, yes, but that was established with his application. In fact, were it not for the Draconians in the original roleplay, most everyone would have perished to a giant hivemind biomass that was moving into the galaxy. The Draconians at the time used portals as primary FTL transportation, while everyone else warped. With the portals, they essentially used several of their cargoships to open a portal, and fly through the biomass. The other side of the portal: black hole. Result: Vacuum cleaner.

Actually I have read the entire thread.
The dracs did shit, it was mostly the Sukui's and another guy who I forgot. And while yes it was established clearly in his application that the dracs were OP, your forgetting that doesn't matter to most other people. Everyone except Keyguy was opposed to them a lot, not always, but a lot. Your also forgetting that Rogue also called me bad things and stated I was god-modding and meta-gaming...as he does to pretty much everyone. He also pretty much started all the shit between him and me as the minute I entered the thread he was creating conflict.

Also really? Referencing the oldest version of Star Empires that happened over two years ago when I was still a very inexperienced RPer and new to it? Those old posts make me cringe sometimes, they legitimately do.

Why would you need a supercomputer to communicate with your soldiers? Just use neural-interface technology and standard radio transceiver hardware. Or use a lighter and more efficient derivative of Land Warrior.

I mean, that small description doesn't detail an overpowered species or nation. It just looks like someone tried to make a powerful faction but utterly failed to do so.

Rogue still paraded them around like they were all powerful and better then everyone else. And wilson has done the same over here it seems.

They reacted faster, thought better, could process better. Each of them were smarter, and with the psionic Triarians and with the magical space unicorns and alicorns, it prevented the reading of their minds and the like. It would also make a weapon like the Valkian's sentience disrupter useless.

A) You said that Rogue wasn't worth your time, which you obviously meant as me, and there you are
B) So was Rogue. He was just as new and inexperienced.
C) Conflict is what makes story.
D) He made conflict with you in particular because you were not thought-out and legitimate. Everyone else's was a race of practicality: they worked for what they wanted, and earned it in the end. The space ponies were first made as sentient beings with powerful magic. Then they did everything by magic. They never raised a hoof, they just used their god-given powers to do everything. And your races still are like that. You say now that your powerful magicians are rarer, much less to be found, but why is it that you're using powerful magic over at that remote planet? Same thing with darkwolf, right? They just happen to be there.

I've said they're overpowered, but he DID do things legitimately. When something disrupted his plans, yes he did bring in bullshit, but at least it was in some form legit. It wasn't completely fair, but it wasn't completely unreasonable. You, however, were just "FAUST DOES THIS!" and suddenly everything is being turned back into your favor. All the Draconians' superbeing did was shown a few diplomat the fall of the Sanctum.

Rogue tried the Dracs, and once they completely failed and he was run off, he gave up on it. You've blown up your Equestrians probably a dozen times by now, and you still go with the same crap. He was original, and he was much more legitimate. Draconians would've stomped on Equestrians in any scenario where they don't have Faust saving them all and where they aren't all perfect and perfectly in place. And even then, they still would've stomped on them, because Draconians were better. Rogue thought about how to win, and you just threw ships at him and cried out in complaint when he destroyed it. Like a bunch of hippies would beat heavily armored Marines.

When there are thirty heavily armed Marines with battlesuits, facing with 40 terrorists, guess who will win? Especially with a clear line of sight of each other.

Duck
Rogue was overpowered
But he was better.
Face it.[/hider]

Duck
if you have ANYTHING to respond
PM it to me
I've tried sending you a PM and you ignored it.
If you're so much better than me and Rogue, then show it.

PM, now OOC.

Same with you ASTA, and anyone else.

EDIT: Also, Darkwolf was pretty much saying "Hey we're hungry and while we would like to eat you, you also have stuff that isn't you that we'd still eat. can we have some?" and naturally you said "Nothing for you, we ain't food." Now he's gonna attack cause he's hungry.

I kind of don't care which fictional nation is better; I'm interested in alien psychology and alien biology as well as any possible culture that may follow. Not who's better at spaceship battles or who can make the most wanked-out super solider.

First of all, I said I didn't care who Rogue was. Second of all, why don't you both just drop it? Tell me, no, tell Keyguy what the Title of this thread says. The more that Rogue is talked about, the more accusations as to who Rogue is and/or how shitty Rogue is will end up in a thread massacre. Dammit I'm all for discussions and free topics but jeezes, this has gone on long enough. This is not progressing the roleplay. Now if Keyguy is actually fine with you two wailing and going at each other, fine. But I don't need to witness it at every refresh. This stuff has gone on before I joined and after. Now it may not be my place to barge in and say stop seeing as how everyone else has stayed calm but can we please further the roleplay?

Is Rogue in this roleplay? No. Has Rogue corrupted or affected this roleplay? No. Is Rogue here? No. Rogue is/was an individual that played in a previous roleplay. and has nothing to do with this roleplay, whether or not he inspired any actions or results within this roleplay.

The only thing making him relevant are two players accusing one to be the individual and another simply speaking about what the individual did. What does he have to do with the roleplay and why must people be outcasted and berated because of him against each other? That is not a public event, that should be handled with PM's and not broadcasted to be forced on everyone else.
