This RP revolves around five Guardians. They each hold something from before the Traveler was discovered. They also hold knowledge of something from before the discovery (a style of fighting, culture, etc). They all meet their Ghost around the same time, and will all meet up in the Tower at the same time.

I think the host is assuming we know something about the game. Guardians are 3 distinct different types of heroes who have been granted gifts by the Traveler they are the Warlock, Titan, and Hunter each is unique in the way it fights, The Traveler is pretty much a god like being that saved humanity from something called the darkness it's pretty much a planet, and the last human bastion is now surviving on it it, as for the change nobody knows in the history but it is believed to be the fallen taking out the earth and pushing humanity to the breaking point. Also is that a harvest moon avatar?

Humans, Exo (robots), & the Awoken (humans who were able to escape from the Darkness but were afflicted with it) who have the ability to harness the Light against the Darkness as a Hunter, Titan, or Warlock.

The Traveler came and advanced human life and technology.

Human life span tripled. Humans were capable of colonizing the moon and other planets in the solar system. Any advancement in technology. The creation of the Ghosts in the Travelers dying breath capable of reviving dead Guardians, even if the Guardian has been dead for a centuries.

The Traveler came before the Darkness. The Traveler did not save humanity from the Darkness. The Traveler failed and died, then the vast majority of humanity was destroyed and all the colonies fell to the enemies of The Traveler.

You got that wrong. The City is the final bastion of humanity. Located somewhere on Earth, the City was built and is located directly under the floating Traveler to take advantage of its protective shields. Nobody lives on the Traveler.

One thing I want to correct the GM on: Guardians and ghosts were created during/after the collapse, which was centuries after the discovery of the Traveler. So our Guardians having pre-Traveler knowledge wouldn't really work. Also: Guardians don't discover their ghosts, the ghosts choose guardians from among Earth's dead. Actually, come to think of it, my second point kind of makes the "pre-traveler knowledge" thing work again.

Oh, and depending on how long after the collapse this takes place, the Awoken may not exist yet. The timeline isn't super clear, but they were humans who fled the solar system during the collapse, and something on the edge of the system changed them.

True lol. But I was thinking there would be some way of preserving history before the Traveler was found.
