Maybe you guys didn't see my edit, but what about if your loot get's stolen so you have nothing else lootable on your character? Do you give them more lootable items or are people hoping to loot your character just out of luck until your character gets more loot from other characters?

Pretty much, it's a way to make death have consequence. Since you just come back shortly afterwards.

I'd suggest just giving your character at least 2 items, so you can lock one down but still have an item to loot.

Healing has been controversial in the past. What about here? Do we have our healing power in tics?

I should probably set up a healing system, give me like twenty minutes.

Alright, so everyone heals equally outside of combat and not healing inside? I'll edit Evvie's sheet with a brief mention of her able to regenerate, but only to explain this plot device for her case so won't be done in battle. Or if everyone can do it in this multiverse I guess even that isn't needed.

You don't need to include regeneration, that's something that all characters have. It's kind of understood.

Anyone want to vote on if I should use an older, younger, or same age (16) Evvie as normal? I can't decide.

I was sort of leaning that way, but something like 18? I definitely don't see her as an old adult, but somewhere in the young adult will work.
P.S. I know you must be joking for 65. I have trouble writing realistic adults. I'm a kid at heart, after all.

Now, while I wait for All of you to post your character sheets for review, I'll get to work on writing up some NPCs.

What about characters who actually have regeneration as a power? One of my character ideas involves an ability that requires him to take damage every time he uses it, and he would have a secondary regeneration ability to compensate for that.

As far as I can tell, healing can, and should be a viable option in combat for some characters, as long as it isn't a passive regeneration. I propose that if someone has a healing ability, it works much like charging, in that it requires them to do minimal movement, and with the possibility of being interrupted while doing so. Making it a maneuver that can be worthwhile if the opportunity for it arises, but generally, much like charging, not something you'd elect to do if your opponent is on the offensive.

TL;DR: Regenerating limbs while back-flipping off a burning car while shooting flaming balls of fire out of your eyes is a sure-way to ruin the give-or-take aspect of a fight.

Alternatively, Regeneration as a power could be included in the durability portion of a character's power rating. If a character had only slightly increased durability and a powerful enough regeneration ability, they'd be able to survive "numerous high-caliber rounds", as the tier 4 durability rating puts it. Except they'd survive by rapidly repairing the damage done instead of taking less damage in the first place.

Regeneration would be on the same level as durability. Level 1 would survive a few rounds, level 4 would survive plenty, so on and so forth.

Y'get the idea.

Oh right, since it came up in PMs.

If you're having trouble coming up with motivation for your character, the rewards list is here:
Loot, honor, actual fame, possibly the rewards of becoming a celebrity when you get back home, obviously cash because the higher your kill count the higher your payoff.

So there's a good list of reasons why they would want to enter.

Edit: I've reviewed the character sheets that have been posted so far.
