[OOC] (Soulstrifer) Spirit Sleuthing (Genkai)

[Genkai]

A YYH RP for me and Soulstrifer. So far we're going back and forth about favorable character combinations.

Yusuke* x Botan*
Yusuke* x Yukina
Yusuke* x OC*
Yusuke* x Young Genkai*

Kurama* x Botan*
Kurama x OC*

As mentioned, I'm leaning toward playing a young Genkai or Botan. I might try for an OC but I'm not coming up with anything that is unique but also not cloyingly cliche. You mentioned playing Yusuke and Kurama (Yoko as well I assume) and I can be Botan, probably the easiest to work with so I think we'd need to figure out who you'd like to be and figure out a good time to interject Botan into the mix. I still think something between Dark Tournament and Chapter Black/Sensui Arc would be easiest but if we wanted to alter some major event too, I'm open. (ex: Keiko dying or Botan going under cover at Kurama or Yusuke's school for some new assignment from Koenma, again we should hash out ideas and intentions) In terms of focus, we should probably figure out how much action, slice of life, mystery (etc) we want going on so we're both on the same page.

It's probably time I dust off the old YYH DVDs i found, or go back to youtube. :3

AH okay :D Good! I'd say I think I'd enjoy Kurama /Yoko more than Yusuke. I've written him more often and he's a little different than the other characters I usually play. - has not been watching from the start again LOL I think you're right though, that somewhere between the DT and Black/Sensui is a fine place to start. With Yoko back on the scene after the tournament it would be cause to draw other's towards him, which would stir up some trouble for one reason or another and of course you've gotta have some sort of mushy fluff this is sweet Suichi - or at least part of him HAH -
What's the usual that you tend to mix?

Alright, so if you're picking Kurama/Shuichi/Yoko, I'll try my hand at Botan. I think to start out, we may want to start off a little light before we get into anything too iontense or action packed. I do enjoy slice of life mixed with the idea of finding and killing perhaps stray demons in the Human World. I could sling a few loose premises and see which one we wanna go further into.

Sounds good to me :D Slice of Life stuff will allow me to settle into Kurama's character again.

Okay, so should I throw some ideas out? Or did you have any off the top of your head?

Honestly, my brain has skittered under it's rock today and is refusing to come out. >< Maybe Botan is sent to Ningenkai by Koenma and is in need of a place to stay. It would give them a reason to be around each other other than the whole let's fake like we aren't a bajillion years old and go to high school... LOL

Yeah that's what I was thinking. If we did something between the two major arcs, I could see Koenma sending Botan down to secretly observe and evaluate Kuwabara, Hiei and Kurama to consider offering them full Spirit Detective titles, should they be right and accept it. Considering Kurama is the least intimidating or perverse, he could be the one Botan seeks first and does enroll in his school under maybe...like a ruse about low level demons causing a rucks around? It could give us a chance to make her less of a useless character, skills wise?

Really? That's awesome, if you're behind the idea and don't have any other worries, I suppose we can start (finally wooh) I guess just gotta figure out post size and if we want other roles to be shared NPCs.

I'm good with anything. Usually my post size is dictated by my partner. The more they give me to play with the bigger my posts will be. Also I'm good with sharing NPCs

Quick question >> This may be a stupid question LOL but is Kurama going to recognize her from the tournament?

I should assume so, I mean they have talked before and been together a lot. I think they even interacted when Yusuke was doing his first mission with Kurama, Hiei and that other guy.

Lol I apologize. My brain just noped for a second I read it over again and got it LOL. It's hard to concentrate when you have a 29 lb corgi trying to get you to play with him by getting on your desk from the bed and stomping on everything ><

Awh tiny dogs can be a pain. ^^; I did consult youtube for a while by viewing certain clips and episodes to help my brain/memory out. XD

Sorry it's taking me forever to reply. Just having a bit of trouble getting my brain in the right order to do it. I promise I havent forgotten about you and I have about a paragraph typed as a draft in word.

Alright...though if it's too hard or you're no longer interested, I'd rather be able to fix it now or start something else, than try to force something to happen. A post a week is hard to keep up with motivation, though it is a busy time of year...

No no. I'm still interested. I just have quite a bit on my plate. Getting ready for holidays and planning to fly to Germany in February, and then another trip in June. I've got a few projects eating up time too. Lol Every time I sit down and start to write something sensible I get dragged away or reminded there was something I had to do. Makes for very slow progress! D: I have the basics of my post figured up already I just have to find a good quiet time to sit and scribble it all down on word so I can post it for you :D

Alright, I know it is a busy time of year, either for work or school...or family or funds. I just wanted to double check with those I'm with that either they're for sure in or not. ^^

FINALLY got the time to finish it this morning, and got around to posting it just now. NOW back to work making this damn Silicone mold.
