CURRENTLY CRAVING: Sword Art Online, The Walking Dead

ABOUT ME
I'm (sort of) new to forum RP and just getting into the 1x1 section; however, I do have RP experience in video games like WoW so I'm not completely hopeless. Although I am a girl in real life, I prefer to play male characters and my favourite female ones usually tend to turn out particularly butch.

My post lengths vary wildly from four to ten to fifteen paragraphs, and I also tend to mimic others when it comes to that – I'll write as much as you want to! I live quite a busy life but will always make an effort to post once per day for casual standard ones. Higher ones may require more time per post. I can RP in threads, PMs, or on occasion TitanPad and the like.

PAIRINGS, ROMANCE AND SMUT
I am all for romance, MxF, FxF and MxM alike, and I am specifically looking for romance in my RPs. I'd prefer to know before the RP starts what 'sort' we're going for. I'd prefer one without smut (and will actively avoid it unless it is unavoidable). Sexual situations, perhaps, and heavy flirtation/intimacy but I'd like a tasteful fade to black before anything extremely M-rated starts.

FANDOMS RP
I like to RP with original characters rather than established ones. NOW RPs CANONS AS WELL, BUT ONLY OTPs. Furthermore, I find most 'slice of life' plots quite dull – action and adventure is where it's at! Here are some of my ideas, but most of them need a bit of brainstorming. *** = Ideas I really want to do!

HARRY POTTER:

Plot 1 – The Wizarding Detectives

TL;DR: A two-person auror team investigates and solves magical crimes as an unidentified villain pulls all the strings.

The year is 2030 and the magical world is advancing at an excruciatingly slow pace though the population is steadily rising. Civil unrest is rampant within most wizarding communities as the Wizengamot argues the benefits of revealing themselves to muggles; however, it was all halted by a war that sparked ten years ago in France – an attempt by a budding Dark Lord at his own blood purity rampage, this time against exclusively non-magicals. Though the war has long-since ended, the enemy figurehead was never caught and his followers still spread propaganda and murder innocents.

Our characters could be lumped together by chance or have known each other during the war when a small magical army was drafted in Britain and sent overseas. Either way, we are low-ranking wizarding detectives with any hopes of promotion stifled by the bureaucracy of the Ministry. I would also not mind using canon characters in this case, so long as they were the 'new' generation from the epilogue.

Plot 2 – The Uninterrupted Rise of Voldemort***

TL;DR: An alternate universe where Harry Potter never existed and Voldemort is now in complete control of wizarding Britain. A small rebel force continually fights against him. Hogwarts is no more, acting as the Dark Lord's personal castle.

Set in an alternate version of the late 1990s/early 2000s, The Order of the Phoenix has been forced to develop extreme methods of hiding and recruitment following the death of Headmaster Albus Dumbledore. Shoved into the shadows and outlawed by the Death Eaters in the Ministry, they are the most multi-cultural group in Wizarding Britain. Outwith the rebels, purebloods are first class citizens refusing to associate with the much lower half-bloods... Muggleborns are little more than servants and tools to be used and discarded by the richest of society.

We would be original characters and members of the Order, possibly spies otherwise just general militia fighters having grown up under the thumb of Voldemort's regime. Evidence has just been discovered pointing to the Dark Lord's immortality being maintained by various trinkets scattered throughout Britain and his followers, 'custom' Horcruxes that are alternate to the books. It may be our designated task to find and destroy these.

Plot 3 – The Curse of the Triwizard Tournament***

TL;DR: A past Triwizard Tournament where things start to go wrong/students or contestants begin to die.

This is the least fleshed out of my ideas but I imagine it would take place at Beauxbatons or Durmstrang, possibly during WWII era. We would each be a champion of one of the three schools in a time of political tension and fear of death, living in the same corridor designated for those competing in the tournament with all the stress that accompanies it.

Plot 1 – The Two Hunters

TL;DR: Just as it says on the tin. Obviously, one or both of us could be human, angel, demon, ex-reaper or something, whatever we see fit. This one would need a lot of brainstorming to start out, but it'd be character-centric so we could just wing it. Does not necessarily need to be in America, could be in Britain~

WORLD OF WARCRAFT:

Plot 1 – The Hapless Adventurers

TL;DR: A flighty night elf (played by moi) and her adventuring companion seek out the mysteries of the old gods in Northrend, faced with all the problems that the climate and the native species bring as well as the madness of Yogg-Saron.

I am all for powerful magicians and incredibly tough warriors, since I believe the WoW setting is pretty unrealistic and comedic anyway. My character for this is pretty much set, and I would heavily prefer for her to have a female travelling companion if only for the sake of remaining true to previous in-game RPs. Does not need to be alliance!

Plot 2 – Keep Fighting

TL;DR: Two characters from vastly different walks of life meet up and are forced together in an "enemy of my enemy is my friend" situation in a Tanaris battle arena after being captured.

Okay, this is a stretch, but I have three premade characters I could play based on your preference: a female worgen shadow priest, a female draenei shaman apprentice or a female orc shaman healer, all of them open to either gender for romance. I would literally sell my soul for my orc to be paired up with a male elf though, for cuteness factor alone. We would brainstorm it in PM, of course.

Haven't got many good ideas to write up at the moment but I am open to absolutely everything of a fantasy/sci-fi/slightly magical setting! I am more than willing to RP another person's ideas, just PM me!

Tentative Plot Idea 1

Modern dystopian society – even futuristic – where regular humans are oppressed and 2nd class citizens compared to mages (humans from an alternate plane of existence who ripped open portals from theirs to ours).

Tentative Plot Idea 2

Fantasy world of myth and magic runs alongside our own, except it is dying. They have specific screening points for their beings to cross over into ours; however, there are also illegal ones. Our characters would work to stop smugglers and illegal immigrants, some extremely dangerous, from entering the world.

Tentative Plot Idea 3***

TL;DR - Ghost or Poltergeist*/Resurrected Dead Girl
Present day: 2014. Necromancy is a prohibited yet often attempted art in New York City, used by the desperate and the needy but only successfully completed by the rich and powerful. The lifespan of a resurrected being is is typically one year; however, many are trying to stretch the limits. After the murder of his teenage daughter, a rich businessman with ties to the criminal underworld wants only the best so he sends his subordinates out in search of the best possible necromancer there is and they find him in Britain. He's dead and has been for over 500 years yet is a crucial key to making life permanent.[/s]

Tentative Plot Idea 4

Witches in a pseudo-1400s where a religious fear of witches was actually realistic and they are hunted down as soon as they show any signs of it. My character would be an amnesiac who devoutly hates witches to the point of becoming a witch-hunter; however, he has a talent for magic that is sniffed out somehow and he is – out of the blue – sentenced to burn at the stake in hopes of drawing out a witch/warlock in a town called Haven.

Tentative Plot Idea 5

Basically 1800s monster-hunting in Britain, chasing down old myths and ghost stories. Might involve the Fae and other myths (more familiar with Scottish ones myself).
