Griffin celebrated his birthday alone. He had just turned twenty. He could hardly wait to be old enough to legally drink. He looked up at the night sky enjoying the peace and quiet. He frowned when he saw that the moon was purple. "I think I drank too much." he said to himself. He headed home knowing tomorrow would be another day of torture.

When he woke the next morning the world felt different. He didntbknow why until he got dressed and went to report to his father for his list of daily chores. He didn't find his father in his office waiting for him like he did every morning. Griffin frowned and searched the house. Not be cause he was worried about his father. He hated his father. He search because he would pay the price if he didn't report in on time. Finally he found his old man dead. It was the happiest day of his life.
Liz worked late at the clinic. She didnt mind the night shift. In fact she enjoyed it. She loved the quiet as much as she liked the choas. She barely looked around as she made her way to her fathers office. It was 6am. Most people just starting their day. She was about to end hers. She thought nothing of the quiet empty halls. It wasnt until she reached her father's office that she realized something was wrong. Seriously wrong! Her father was dead at his desk. She had seen enough dead people that she didnt have to check. He had been a few hours. She rushed out if the office in search if someone anyone. All she found was one corpse after another.

Alana sighed, flopping down onto her bed. What a busy day! Her 22-year-old brother just got dropped off at college. How emotional! Quickly, the girl changed into her pajamas and fell asleep quickly, dreams forgotten.

When she woke up, she felt odd. More mature? No. This was an unsettling feeling. Maybe someone broke in? No, the alarms would be screeching if someone did. Maybe she was dreaming? Who knew. Getting out of bed, she went to her parents room, where a bloodcurdling shriek could be heard.
Emi woke up the next morning in an alley, next to her smashed cell phone and now empty wallet. Great, she thought. Picking up her phone and wallet, she began to walk home. Odd, nobody was out. This wasn't normal. Ahead of her she saw the two people who had obviously mugged her last night. As she approached them, she saw her money and driver's license in one of their outstretched hands. Snatching it up, she kept walking, shouting the occasional "Hello?" or "Anyone here?" on her way to the the tiny home that belonged to her parents and (not so much) herself.

Jack feel atop his bed, exasperated and tired. He had gone through a lot that day. He had to follow his mom to court, then he was late for work so he had to take on the night shift. Unfortunately, that shift did not end till 2 o'clock at night. By the time he got home every was already asleep, but that was unusual, his mother would usually wait for himself to get home before she went to sleep. But Jack shrugged it of and went to sleep.

Jack awoke the next morning, groggily, he got up and went straight to the bathroom, took a shower and got dressed. Jack found something unusual, the house was quiet, to quiet, in the morning the house was like a collage party. His brothers were usually watching TV or fixing there cars. His parents were usually making breakfast or something. Jack put on his clothes and walked down his stairs, unfortunately for him, no one was there. Jack searched around the house and found no one. He assumed that they must have gone out without him until he entered his brothers room. He brother layed in his bead motionless, and cold. Jack realized he was not breathing and he did not know the hemlock, he tried to call 911 but no one answered. What the hell was going on.

Sloan came in late that night, she's been out all night looking for the perfect gift to give her mom for her birthday before she left for an inconveniently timed business trip. She had it all planned out, when her mom opens her eyes tomorrow Sloan was going to be right there at her bedside with breakfast, and a pair of fancy shoes for her mother's trip.

The next morning Sloan woke up with a sinking feeling in her gut. She slept in, missed her alarm and her mom had already left! Her sisters had been staying at their fathers place that week so she had nobody to let her know what had happened so she just continued her regular schedule as normal by tidying up the living room and bathroom, then she went on her daily hike in the wooded area near by. During her walk she noticed what appeared to be a man laying on the ground. she approaches the man with caution and as she gets closer she realizes the man's skin is off hue, and he wasn't breathing. In a panic Sloan ran to the nearest building she could find- the liquor store.
As she ran toward the doors she sees more bodies scattered throughout the parking lot, the streets.... everyone was dead.

When griffin left his house he was expecting the world outside to be normal. He frowned when he saw how quick everything was. Where was everyone. He looked up and down the street. He saw confused and tearful children and a few teens. What he didn't see was a single older person. What the hell was going on? Griffin headed to the oldest person he saw, "Are your parents dead?" the boy nodded.

George had been up late last night. He had lots of homework to do. He looked at his watch and said to himself "it´s already 22:00? I better get some sleep." He put on his pajamas and jumped into bed.

Next morning he woke up at 08:05 "Damn i´m late!". He ran to the kitchen to get some breakfast. But there it was his parents were dead on the floor. He was paralyzed with fear. He calmed down and ran out on the street to get some help but all that were there was just corpses. "What the hell is happening?"

Liz was in panic mood. She found more dead people than living in her search of the hospital. She found no one over the age of twenty anywhere. The hospital was filled with Interns, and sick kids. "What are we going to do?" None of the survivors were skilled doctors. They were smart but they didn't has the experince to handle all the cases. How many people had died and why? She was going to find a way to find out,

"Shit." Jack yelled as he continued to search the house for survivors. No on who was older than him was alive at all. What the hell was going on, he opened the door and walked out into the street, only to see the body's of more and more adults, and the crying and sobbing of children and teens. Damn, if someone did not do something, everything would go to hell. Jack opened his father's car and honked the horn to gain everyone's attention.

Griffin was startled out of his thoughts by the sound of a horn. He looked around until he was able to find the source of the noise. Curious he made his was down to the street to the younger man. Griffin estimated that the man was a year or two younger then he was. "That's one way to get everyone's attention.

As Tess came home late that night, just before she shut the door, she noticed the moon was coloured purple. She didn't think too much of it, could be the alcohol, or maybe that pill she got from that dude at the bar. She sneaked her way upstairs, hoping her parents wouldn't notice she was out this late. She undressed, and got into bed for a good nights sleep. She didn't even bother to set the alarm, she wouldn't go to school tomorrow, anyway.

When she woke up, she directly picked up her phone to check the time. 11:34. "That's weird" she muttered, as she slowly stood up and streched. She had some missed calls and tons of unread messages, but that was quite normal. She didn't pay attention to it, she just wanted to wake up in peace. Usually her parents would wake her up to go to school. Maybe they knew she didn't go and gave up hope. When she found herself alone as she came downstairs, she wasn't surprised. Her parents were at work and Danny, her brother, did go to college every day. She made herself a sandwich and turned on the TV. That's when she noticed something was wrong. There was nothing on.

She picked up her phone again. She had a message telling her to go check up on her parents. What the hell was going on? There were a few people freaking out, seemingly their parents had passed away and they moved to the other side of the country to go live with other family. Probably a major outbreak of some sort of disease? Her parents were fine, she knew it. She picked up her car keys from the cabinet and walked over to her car. It was quiet outside. Too quiet. She drove to the college where her brother went, to see if he knew more about this weird shit that was going on.

On her way there, things became weirder and weirder. Children were crying and there wasn't anyone to be found that seemed to take care of them. Suddenly, the sound of a horn caught her attention. She slowed down to see two guys at a car. They seemed just as confused as she was. Maybe she should ask them about this odd situation? She stopped the car, rolled down her window and hoped to hear some of the conversation. She couldn't just walk up to some strange guys, maybe they didn't know anything. Maybe this was all in her head. Maybe it was the drugs from yesterday, as she did see a purple moon when she got home. The plan was to just lay low for the time being, trying to figure this all out.

Jack took his hand off the horn once he got everyone's attention. He hoped that every one would not take what he was about to say offensively.
"HEY. Unfortunately, we all woke up this morning to find all are relatives... dead. I don't know what in Sams hell is going on, but if I were my parents, I would not want to be left in bed or on the streets to rot. I think we should...bury the dead, you can keep them if you would like, but that is what I recommend. I also believe that we should face and tackle to more important problems. Electricity, plumbing, water, food, and the smaller children at school and at daycare. I know it's very early. But it has to be done now way or another." He said loud enough for everyone to hear. With that he stepped of the the car and waited for everyone's response.

Griffin raised his eyebrow in surprise. "He's right. We need to get organized. We need to find out if anyone knows what's going on. First thing we need to do is bury dead. It's not a pleasant task but it will be less pleasant later. Then we needed to gather everyone we can. We need to establish who can do what. Then we need to figure out what kind of supplies we have to work with. I suggest everyone empty their houses. Than we sort things out. Parishables in one store, non in another, clothing to a third, medication and drugs to the hospital, to the library, ect. We should put people in as few buildings as possible. Shut of water, gas, and electricity to empty buildings. That might lesson the pressure and buy us some time to figure out what they hell us going in and how to handle it."

Emi heard a car horn honk several times a few blocks away. Speeding down, she saw mourning children and teens, all standing over dead adults. She tried not to panic and ran to the scene with the car horn, pretending she was there the whole time and calmly leaning on a wall.
Alana stayed in her home. She had to do something, but what? Her entire house was dead people. What happened to her brother? Oh boy, this was going to be hard. She would cry a little bit longer, yes. Then she would report this to the police. Maybe - no, she would do her first plan. So, sliding down her wall, she covered her face and sobbed.

Liz rounded up as many interns as she could, as she gathered people she asked their name, age, and experince. She quickly learned that there was not a single resonance above the age of 21. She was scared. They were going to lose the sicker patients. She hated it but she didn't see how they could stop it. "Evaluate the current cases and figure out which once you can handle. The ones we can't handle we will have to move. I want as many patients together as possible. I don't want to have to walk the whole hospital with so few survivors. I'm going to take an inventory of what kind of supplies we have."

Sonja was trying pretty hard not to panic. He wasn't sure what was going on, but it didn't seem like anything was going to get much better anytime soon.

By all accounts, he should probably have been grieving over his parents, but the discovery of the widespread crisis had kind of redirected his attention at the moment. He still wanted to cry, but it seemed like there was something else that would have to be dealt with first.
A lot of somethings.

Running down the street, he could see a lot of people either mourning over the dead or dead themselves. Why were there only people roughly his age and younger? There had to be at least one adult here somewhere! Pretty soon, he couldn't run anymore, so he stopped and leaned against a nearby streetlamp. Ah...asthma really sucks... The thought surfaced for perhaps the millionth time as he pulled out his inhaler. It wasn't often that big a deal to him, but he supposed that the panic was making him careless. After taking a puff from the device, he looked around and tried to come to a decision. If there were older people anywhere, they weren't making any appearances. He was going to have to find some of the older people who were actually alive and see if any of them had a clue what to do.

Jess Had seen it all. People dropping like flies, all of them were older though. She lit a cigarette and took a swig of a beer. "I think I'm drunker than I thought." She sighed as she began to walk down the streets. Death didn't really phase her, she didn't have anyone left to care about.
"Yo! Anyone alive!?" She shouted as loud as she could, hearing the eerie echo of her own voice.

"Hello?" Sonja pushed off the streetlamp and looked around for the source of the voice he could hear calling down the streets. This voice sounded older than a lot of the people he had seen on the way here. At least close to his age, but probably not much younger, so that was something. "Who's there? Do you know what's going on?"

"People are droppin' like flies." She said running a hand through her hair. "No clue why." She said taking a drag of her cigarette.

The boy sighed and fixed his glasses. "Yeah, that's about all I know, too. It's strange, though." He looked around the streets again, for a moment, not finding many others around. "Why is it that there are so many children unaffected? It seems like people around maybe early college age and younger make up the majority of those that I've seen alive today. Maybe it's just my district, but it's definitely weird." Looking back at the girl, Sonja clutched his inhaler a bit tighter and placed one hand on his face, trying his best not to inhale the smoke from the cigarette. "I suppose the best thing to do is to find someone who does know what's going on..."

She noticed the inhaler and threw her cigarette on the ground. "Hey sorry Man, you shoulda said somethin'" She said as she stomped it out. "How old are you?" She asked looking him up and down.
