Dane raised a questioning eyebrow at the fairy. "Shuteye? It's still mid afternoon by my estimate. The sun isn't even setting yet. I think our time might be better spent learning a bit about each other." He turns to Shade. "Well, learning more about each other being those of us who aren't famous for being the Hero of Time." Dane didn't resent the Shade, even a little bit, but he didn't envy him either. There were a number of theories about what had happened to him and how he became the Hero's Shade. Most of them weren't pleasant. It was a fate no one deserved, at any rate.

"I also don't sleep. I didn't really sleep much when I was a kid either. Getting to know each other sounds like a good idea." Shade says, Dane seems to know about him but Shade doesn't know anything about any of the other Sages. 'Well I'll be working with these folks, might as well learn about them.'

Dane sat thoughtfully for a moment, debating on specific questions before finally sighing in defeat. "Well, the truth of the matter is we don't really know anything about each other. Well, with the exception of Shade, if you know the history of the land well enough you know plenty about his exploits as Link, Hero of Time. So, let's start with the basics, name, home locations, and maybe some hobbies."
