"Psst!"

"Psst!"

"George!"

"Oy, dickhead!"

"What?" George groaned, turning from his transfiguration notes.
"What you think of all this muggle murder crap?"
"Jesus, I know no more than you."
"Yeah but your Dad-"
"He tells me Jack. Just leave it."
"I heard he's a purist, trying to purify the Wizarding race."
"Jesus, that's lame."
"Proper mean streak."

"Travers! Avery! Nott! Be quiet!" All three boys dropped to silence, Traver slipping a copy of the Daily Prophet into his pocket again. "I expected more from you, Nott. It takes a lot to be an Auror. Concentration is key." George immediately rolled his eyes and continued to make notes. He didn't need that kind of pressure. He wasn't even sure he wanted to be an Auror. His passion was duelling, always had been. There was a possibility he could join a professional team, play against people of his own skill level. Yet not with his dad on his back.

Class ended soon enough and all students quickly packed their belongings, making their way to the door.
"George, it is still your passion, correct?" The professor asked, expecting him to nod. Of course he did. "May I suggest you focus on your studies this year. You're father may be Head of that department but it doesn't just take name alone. Winning the cup this year may also help." Again, George nodded.

He gave an almighty sigh and headed out into the busy corridor. It was only September but he already hadn't least three places on the duelling team to fill before Halloween and homework to finish. Let alone anything else.

Austin walked up to the group of his friends. His hair was a bright blue color, eye color matching it. He said," Ain't transfiguration just fantastic guys? Especially that teacher." He rolled his eyes, making a gagging movement in his discust. He folded his arms, looking at everyone. Like George, Austin had an affinity for dueling. But his often was border line too far. He tended to focus on more... Dangerous tatics compared to some others.

He crossed his arms over his chest, smirking slightly as his eyes got a tint of red," we need to pull a good prank on one of the Gryfindor students, the weaklings. Everything has been too dry for us this summer." Ge smirked, grinning, a slightly malicious look in his eyes as they turned red.

George caught up with the others and sighed.
"Not even sure why I took the subject." He groaned. One whole school year left. One simple period of time to endure before he was free. He just needed to finally tell his parents how he felt. "You'd have to try and get one of their Quiddtich team. There's the first match of the year at the beginning of next month." First game of the year was always Gryfindor against Slytherin. Always. George pushed though the crowds and eventually managed to find a free staircase that would take him down towards the dungeons.

"I'm putting the first duelling practise up for this Saturday. Try ours too, if anyone's bothered." He'd been Captain for three years now. Strangely long but he had the skill, aswell as the wand. He held it dear to him. Ever since his brother had told him what his wand wood and core meant, he'd truly taken to duelling. The white wood had always made him feel unique, of course fuelling his already enflamed ego and complex.

He smirked and nodded," of chourse, maybe do something to the brooms? He rubbed his hands together, smirking as he thought through this. It should be big... Something to guarantee success... He said," I'll probably do some research on some curses in the library." He smirked more at the thought. Whenever he did mention the library he typically meant the restricted section, where more of the darker magics were located.

He followed George down the steps," of chourse I'll be there. Let's see if we can win this year." His eyes flashed, a malicious look remaining in his eyes.

"You'll get yourself expelled." George commented, stepping off the stairs they currently stood on. Of course any duelling team had spent many years perfectly curses, hexes and jinxes that were already lingering on the edge of the ban list. That sort of thing was legal on a stage, though even he knew the teachers wouldn't accept anything that happened offstage.
"If it hadn't been for Dolohov's need to play hero, we would have won." He commented, venom obvious in his tone. George had enemies, plenty, yet when it came to duelling, he had always forced himself to take team members on skill alone. Even if that meant having to keep an extra eye out.

He moved down through the halls and found the staircase that twisted towards the dungeons. The other students he'd been walking with shouted a fair well and moved along into the ground. There were a lot of things on his mind already this year, and they weren't even four weeks into the year.

Austin let out a snort of derision as George said he would be expelled. He said," if I haven't been expelled already from this school then I'm not going to be expelled now." Austin was never the perfect stupid. He was one that if some random curse happened to you, it would more likely then not be Austin. He walked step for step beside George and spoke," I feel like we will win dueling this year." His eyes glimmered and he smirked. "Wonder how far we will be able to push the teachers this year."

"I've something up my sleeve if worst comes to worst. But I need you on my back, I can't really defend myself whilst doing it." George added, finally moving down the twisting staircase towards the potions classroom and their tower. "I think a sixth and seventh year limit would be a good idea, regardless of how good they are . We don't need to pressure of someone who knows barely anything."
